Thinking about applying at MLB airport as a ramper, how are the hours and how is it being a ramper? I have not found any openings but checking everyday.
9 + years in Atlanta (ATL) 45 min turns and my favorite zone was zone 3, worked with some of the best people and supervisors. Tough work but truly satisfying.
Really considering becoming a ramp agent., it’s never the job it’s the people that can make y experience “drama”. But here you guys are by yourselves with the elements and you know at the end of the day, your job is rewarding 🙌🏼 Just my observation on the UA-cam vids I’ve been watching.
I’m at UA in ORD we got 3 people on a gate and we load 160+ bags on a 57 with 15 min to Depart. And that’s our thing. No one likes working with us because we power load just to have more ass time in the ready room. But 90 bags in 17m isn’t to bad. To most people that’s to much. Great job
I’m 6’2 and pushing 60. I’m not sure if I could hack it in that small space. I thought about doing this when I retire to help with the cost of health insurance.
I got a interview Tuesday . Thanks to you man
Ayyye go get it Alex!
I remember the days when I worked on the Ramp at IAD. It's a job and these folks don't get paid enough for the job they do.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Good video. It is hard to explain being in a bin. They can be cramped but still better than the bag room. I love the ramp
The bin is pretty simple especially when it's raining and everyone is getting wet except you.
@@LorenzoMarch exactly no rain no snow no wind
Used to love working these planes at MLB in Melbourne, Florida. Rest in power Mad Dogs!

@@hoytarchery5302 8-10 hours days. That's if everything goes right. If you're part time or seasonal it maybe 4-6 hour days. Sorry for the late reply

When I come home from work on a day like this on the ramp. Usually means all my work gear goes in the dryer
Mashallah superbbbb

Love ramping, in BUF airport we work 737s with 2 people, one ramper in the pit.
Cool
Ahh yes, the old wet weather trick 😂
Must be nice having 30 people at the gate helping. Lol
Ha! The airport I work at…we only usually have 3 people per crew and about 4 or 5 crews. Sometimes it can get pretty screwy.

Right
Try loading mail bags and individual Amazon boxes. Cargo is where it's at.

How does the free flight benefit work
Depends what company you are working with.
Is this BHM airport?
Yes
Hello Lorenzo, any help practicing the job abroad??

Google to see if an airline is hiring near you
Great teamwork but he didn’t had to throw the luggage like that
I'll try to be more careful next time
When youre a ramo agent you throw luggage sorry not sorry. We gotta move quick

Ah the not so fun part of turning around an 88. Worked the bin solo multiple times
Yep it be like that sometimes
I liked unloading the 80's just hated loading them
90 bags took that long?! Slacking..
Lol
Must just be the aircraft type
At least I hope so cause we can get 200+ bags off and then on a 737 in about the same amount of time
It can happen I have load 120 in 20 minutes
just poor ramp management!! You already know you have at least 70 bags ! why would wait to load them, and only one person in the bin!
Lol
I can't think for other people 😂
I do this but with a FedEx 757 😩😩😩
Y'all be grinding over there!
Yeah, suitcases have nice handles to grab onto, most 80Lb boxes don't lol
Them guys are slow
