Been using BIAS FX and AMP on ipad...my favorite sounding soldano for ipad...bought all the bundles, problem is it’s inter-app audio, but theres no au3 plugin version for iOs...which means only one instance at a time. You can’t do that with apps (unless you use a different app for each track), and nobody seems to make a good sounding amp modeler PLUGIN for ios/ipad. It’s a limitation of iOS but the fix would be for companies to make a plugin (not just app) version for iOS. Until then I still end up having to use a computer, but it is pretty awesome for when the guy from a band you’re still technically “in” requests the tracking of some leads (and leads is the only thing you do). I much prefer the fanless silence of a tablet when recording audio.
will the bias fix 2 desktop get you the mobile too? also question, what bias fx 2 level is best pro or standard for me? i’m a pop punk/dent guitarist who produces my own music
The pro has more amps and pedals. I have the standard and it's more than enough. The tone cloud has a shit ton of presets from the community, though you can only preview the ones that require the pro version. But there are still a lot that are included in the standard. I say try standard first and if you need to upgrade, pay the extra later.
Hi Garrett. I have a couple of questions...first, it looks as though you're using a guitar stand, can you tell me where you got it and how much it cost please? Next question, what interface are you using with your iPhone 6, it sounds as though there is next to no lag?
Is it possible on the mobile version depending on your mobile devices to run bias fx 2 and run guitar pro or other stuff at the same time like youtube backing track i know this is more about the type of tablet or phones that you use kind of question
