My husband and i were sent to NK for a year by Doctors Without Borders. The worst country and experience ever. No internet, no mobile phones no Danish Embassy. I was scared all the time, afraid of doing something “ wrong”. We lastex a year but never again….
I noticed something strange: in any North Korean documentary or video about North Korea, I haven't seen any animals, whether it's birds in the city or cats and dogs.
I know the kids are pretend smiling , but theres no fat kids at all & their days are constantly filled with activity & yes a lot of hatred . You just hope that they can not project that hate onto their own kids . Hating something you know nothing about is just ridiculous - as is that Propaganda " Playing football wit babies " is beyond even the evilness of the worlds worst regime - The USA !
Yeah, they might of had to go through brutal training, sing and or play off key, even selecting the wrong instrument on the keyboard to hitting the wrong part from any percussion instrument and you can be punished with beatings and torture. I sometimes think his stay in Switzerland made him become more extreme as a result; You're in a country with a working democracy, beauty, happy and free people etc., you subconsciously realise North Korea is actually a really, really horrible place but you're just as much as a prisoner to it as every other citizen. Except you're part of the family so there's even more of an eye on you. Imagine being a teenager, getting to find out about your hobbies, like basketball. You make a couple friends, people treat you like a normal person, there is peace. Then you get sent back to the dictatorship you're greatly negatively affected by, too. That must be ao traumatising and frustrating. I am entirely sure he has severe narcissistic personality disorder. Probably experienced extreme trauma, pain and anxiety all his life (once again, in contrast to the way life in Europe is like). Your brain juat restructures. Maybe he even cried when he knew he was gonna be next in the line of reign because he never wanted any of this. Who really does? I have no sympathy for his actions whatsoever, he is a horrible person. But everyone ia a result of their environment and he really never had any other choice than to become the person/monster he is today. Other citizens have the opportunity to try and escape this place/SYSTEM, at least. He has no choice, never had one. Just like all his other family members. And when his brother tried to escape, he juat executed him. Probably jealous of his strength and that he has a better moral character than him (criticising the system).
Every single day you make a choice to continue. He makes that choice. He had his brother and many others killed. He could absolutely do the right thing. His knowledge of different makes him a MONSTER
My sister in law went to college in the US with and was in the same friend group as a current king in Cameroon. They had no idea he was a prince, seemed like a pretty humble guy (drank/smoked weed etc) and he apparently brought back many western ideas. He is the first King in a line dating back to the 14th century to only take one wife (previous kings had over 100 wives at certain points). Too bad Kim didn’t bring back what he learned as well.

Before watching this video, I watched another about North Korean people that were in the South when then war began, 65 years ago. They have been unable to see, touch, or even hear from their husbands, wives, children, and parents for 65 years! All because of the north. What doesn't get talked about is how over the decades NK has attempted to assissinate SK president.....built several underground tunnels to invade Seoul one of which is part of the DMZ tour I went on was able to go down into said tunnel to where it was sealed off after SK soldiers discovered it. So far three major tunnels have been discovered.

I've seen a lot of documentaries about north korea and this one is by far the best made and most in depth with views of what it's like to be there.

I've traveled to South Korea several times. During my travels I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Korean War vets. What doesn't get talked about is how over the decades NK has attempted to assissinate SK president.....built several underground tunnels to invade Seoul one of which is part of the DMZ tour I went on was able to go down into said tunnel to where it was sealed off after SK soldiers discovered it. So far three major tunnels have been discovered.
