A construction of superlatives: 318 m height, extreme weather conditions, regional forces and maritime traffic. Two 357 HC-L cranes were involved in the construction of the 1915Canakkale Bridge for several years.
How are those HC-L cranes going to get back down? Together with our Tower Crane Solutions team the disassembly was planned for weeks.
First the derrick cranes were preassembled on the ground and then lifted onto the pylons by the HC-L cranes. The derrick cranes subsequently took over and dismantled the HC-L cranes with all their components. Trucks transported the crane parts away. Afterwards, the derrick cranes largely dismantled themselves; only their substructure and tower were lowered from the pylons with the help of another small auxiliary crane.

hey Liebherr, can we please get a follow-up on how to dismantle the derrick crane and get everything down ? 😊
Right such a tease, shows the part of the boom being lowered and cuts off. No spider crane or jib pole up there so my guess had to be helicopter
i also thought of the same that how the 2nd crane got down but at 3:38 can you see a green structure, i suppose it did the unfinished work
I think the smaller yellow crane dismantled the derrick crane, then the even smaller blue crane dismantled the yellow crane! The blue one was maybe lowered in small pieces by a winch which was then taken down the lift!
I feel a bit ripped off on this video!! How’d they take the rest down?
Finally, finished by the MARCA 2 tons winch
Liebherr I know you have the footage to make a longer video to show a much more detailed dismantling of the 357HC-L and the DR 200 Derrick crane how you got it down to the surface of the bridge so please make a longer video explaining this. You’ll get a lot more views.
Yeah they left me hanging... How they get that down?
Attaching the climbing frame was also missed out.
Frankly the awful editing techinques used these days gives me a headache.
Less shots and cuts from different perspectives and angles, please.
Come on Liebherr! I wish you’d showed the entire dismantling of the Derrick as well! How was it done? Ya gotta finish the story!
Engineering at its level best, please keep videos like this coming ✨✨
Pretty cool video 👌
Nice Video Liebherr! Thanks for not fobbing us off with a 50 second video.
Best part left out.
"With clever moves and unerring bravery, the hero managed to back the villain up against the wall. But unless the villain dropped his shield, what was the point? The whole village had watched, fascinated, believing the hero must have a trick up his sleeve."
"And they lived happily ever after."
Means and methods of dismantling tower cranes and erecting derricks on high structures has been around since cranes were made of wood and men were made of steel
@@user-gk3gn9yj5gCannot read this ! Use English, if you want to become understand on international stage !!
aber wie ist der turmdrehkran oben hingekommen?

So how did you remove the rest of the derrick crane? Is it trade secret?
Nuts!
How they doe the last part of the crane?
Some planning necessary. Your results may vary.
This doesn’t answer my curiosity... you brought up another crane to dismantle the original crane. But you’re still left with a crane at the very top. How is this removed? Helicopter?
My country cannot build bridge like that
Here I had envisioned a series of smaller and smaller cranes until the workers took the last one apart and each person carried a piece down the stairs.
Это понятно все, а как они первый кран собрали? Да еще с такими противовесами мощными
Монтировали при помощи крана Favelle Favco M2480D, которые использовались при монтаже пилонов этого моста.

Nope!
Dont cut the film to fast you have no chance to see what you see.
Uh, how did you get the other crane down. I believe y’all can do better. Longer more detailed videos.
