Probably a skip for me. Past 100 needs to be special for me to buy. Just my budget and list of shelfers available already on my list to buy under 100.
I passed this bottle at MSRP when I saw these bottle was finished in 2 red wine barrels and no age statement. ;-) I love Cab and merlot, but bourbon finish in red wine barrels for me is still questionable.
Glad to see your review on this Jason. This was my first Blood Oath purchase and I’m digging this bottle, even at 98.6 proof. I was unaware that they used to put the age on the previous bottles. It would definitely be nice to know the age of the juice inside, but what matters is how does it taste. It’s actually good. Great review as always and Cheers!
Supposedly it’s a blend of 7yr, 12yr, and 16yr bourbons from Heaven Hill.
I was looking all over for this information. Usually, they put it on their website. This time they didn't. Can you share where you found it?

Would like to try, but I doubt I would buy as I also gave up on this brand.
I’ve only tried the Blood Oath Pact 9, and while it is an enjoyable whiskey, I don’t believe it’s worth the $130 price tag. You can pretty easily blend something that tastes similar and equally as good with off the shelf and available whiskeys.
Does it have the typical crooked label?
I'd love to try one of these someday but they are only in raffles around my area.

Blood Oath is a great $80 whiskey in a $50 box.

I agree, thin finish whiskeys are a huge let down. 🥃 I’ve had some pours with excellent mid or front but if the leave fades it’s a disappointment.

Jason I thought you were giving up on blood oath. In your April 4th video you listed blood oath as a brand you weren't buying anymore. What changed? My local store is trying to get 199 for this. Hard pass and after what I initially thought was a decent pact 9 it thinned out as the bottle got to the halfway point.
This isn't my bottle as I stayed in the beginning of the video. I didn't buy it. But wanted to at least review it.

Picked up two bottles of the Pact 10. Even thou the age is not identified bourbons in blend has to be aged at least 4 years per TTB regulations.

I enjoyed the calvados and the rum finished Blood Oaths but last years Sherry was a skip for me and this sounds like another skip for me this year. Cheers
If there was a little more transparency on the age I’d definitely be hunting this at retail but I think this is gonna be a skip this year.
I gave up on Blood Oath after tasting 8. Honestly, all of my bottles are 2/3 of fuller. Not my jam!

Blood oath. Internal body temperature considered normal is 98.6. I do wish it would go higher

Above SRP is a pass even with the age statement
So Buy at 129.99 but not 130.00. Seems silly. Blood Oath is never buy for me.
Hard pass… younger yet price steadily increasing. When will the market speak with their wallets. These brands are laughing in your face while cleaning out ur pockets.😂

Was hoping for so much more from this release. Rebel 10 year is better than any of the BO releases I’ve had. I will not be buying any future BO releases.

I was a faithful buyer of pacts 5-7, but I just couldn’t justify the price with the mediocrity of the whiskey in the bottle. $130 for the latest release?

It's 98 proof on purpose. 98 degrees is the temperature of blood. Hence, blood oath.

Who cares whether it's four years old, or forty, so long as it's good? Obsessing over an age statement is like saying the ECBP A124 is better than Woodford Reserve Double Oaked simply because the latter lacks any such age statement.
