now hoooooooooooooooold on Bourbon Bill - the Old Ezra 7 Year Rye is fantastic - that is a super strong offering from Lux Row. I have the last 4 Blood Oath's - I think the 10 is a decent and fun summer sipper - better than 9 but not as good as 8 - maybe equivalent to 7.
I do enjoy old Ezra 7 and I would agree this BO is better than several of the last few but to me it’s still not worth its msrp lol

I’m a big believer in that fever edition you mentioned. I bought the Pact 8 and pulled the raven quote on them. Never more! You made the Chattanooga sound so good, I might have to pour a little. I would pour some Bull Run, but I hid it and can’t seem to find it at the moment. Great video!
Haha yeah I had to hide my bull run cognac too or I wouldn’t have any left for bourbon of the year competition

Yeah it’s killer good and even better comparison but it’s not out yet would be the upcoming Chattanooga Pinot noir finish closer type of finish
Guys in the local groups by me have been going crazy wheeling and dealing Blood Oath Pact 10. Oddly, I don't recall seeing any reviews or tasting notes on it among those guys.

$45-$75 Seems to be the sweet spot for value. Diminishing returns above that range.
Yeah I would agree great whiskey can be had in that range
@bourbonbill Have you tried any of the Redwood Empire bottles? I tried the regular Pipe Dream and didn't care for it. I'm wondering if their BiB and cask strength bottles are worth the $.

and btw - finished rye generally much better than bourbon as you know as we share an affinity to Sagamore!!

Exactly why I don’t get these. Overrated overpriced and disappointing. I’m not a real finished guy some I can take but most just suck. Just another gimmicky bottle that I’m not interested in.
