I'm glad you guys left it on for a week looks to be holding up very well however the zrg is oddly satisfying 😂 I don't know why it's definitely unique and you guys gotta get the Mustang out so people can see this
youtube compression cant handle the awesomeness. honestly to even have a trinket sprayed like this would be so cool. too bad we dont have the durability tech yet
Answers to your potential questions: - No, it's definitely not durable enough to spray your car in this. This video was just for fun. Do not spray your car in this. - The product can not be top coated or clear coated in any way. Nothing can make it last longer. - Seriously, it won't last a day, don't attempt this.
We need someone to invest in Stuart and the Culture Hustle team figuring out how get the same level of black for automotive paint so we can finally get these velvety black cars we clearly all want.
That is honestly what I imagine the universe to look like sprayed on a car. Or crushed diamond velvet. If you ever get super fancy, I can just imagine a few other hypershifts or pearls sprayed in small sections, like mini galaxies and nebulae. Amazing end look, just such an unreal effect. 5 stars!!
I'm so sad that this isn't something that is long lasting. I'm literally in awe. Could you imagine seeing a galaxy vehicle just rolling down the street. I'd be completely mesmerized
It's a shame that the hypershift won't last, the depth the black 4,0 gives to the pearls is beautiful. I'd love to see what this car looked like in the dark, the effect of street lights or headlights hitting it as it passes by.
It reminds me of a velvety, starry, sunset sky, or even something galaxy-esque. Absolutely stunned with the outcome, and kinda depressed that I know this paint job won't last 😭
The way the sparkles shift with the absolute black behind them makes it look like the car is at a different frame rate than the rest of the objects around it. Wild.
It looks so cool, but that's crazy how the black just seems to cancel any hypershifting. I think this one actually perfected the galaxy look you were going for before.
I thought the same exact thing - the sparkle from the metallics, the shifts with blue/green/teal/purple & the deep black made me really feel like I was hanging out in space admiring the stars. 11/10 would rewatch repeatedly lol
Galaxies have more color and definition. This is more like a nice sparkly black dress. Something that is classy and sexy and could be worn to ritzy events.
We need to see a video with the darkest black paint suitable for everyday use which can be top coated with the same (or similar) hypershift. Something we can realistically have. For this, one of the wildest paint jobs you have done! 5/5
The topcoat would have to have almost zero reflection, or refraction (or it would stand out on the black). I bring this up because it would be absolutely crazy in its own right. When you opened the container of that clear, it would look like the container was empty.
It looks like you dropped glitter on velvet. That is an amazing look. I can imagine someone doing this for SEMA or some other huge car show where it doesn't matter that it won't last.
It’s like all the stars in the sky are dancing. At times it’s almost like the paint moving on its own. This is the most visually appealing color(s) I have and will ever see in my life!
You have tried a couple of “galaxy” effects in the past, but this one is by far the best. You can’t see the hypershifting but you can still see the sparkle. I personally think it’s really cool!
This is the coolest one I have seen yet. It has that velvet look to it yet sparkles and shifts colors. This is what I think of when someone says "Galaxy paint job".
It's crazy looking. Somewhere between black glitter velvet and screen static. Very pretty, but definitely something that looks like it'll wash off the second you get a little rain.
You guys should make a series on figuring out how to make these blackest paints last a good while! Doing some trial and error and hopefully finding a way to make it last. Because cmon… this is just wayyy too good to not try to figure out how to make it last for a long time!
As I see it, the problem is that to make it resilient, you need a top coat to protect it. Then the issue is how matt can you get the cleat top coat, because that is now the determining factor for how black it appears. And I'm seeing a lot of problems trying to make a clear coat that is that matt.
The paint looks super black due to physics, not pigmentation. Top coating with literally anything interferes with the physics - photons are getting trapped in the paint finish, which on a microscopic level is effectively structured like toothbrush bristles, unable to reflect back out to your eyes, which makes it appear super black.
UA-cam's video compression actually held up surprisingly well with this paint job. There was a specific range between your close-ups and wide shots where it didn't seem to struggle at all. Although, the sort of blinking effect the video compression had on the sparkles was pretty cool looking lol.
I don't think it did justice. A higher framerate would be nice too, I doubt the sparkles looks as fuzzy irl. Still the most gorgeous paint job I've seen through a phone tho 👍
I'll be honest, I did not expect to be blown away, but this is amazing. I love how from different angles it looks like a completely different material. It looks like the night sky from some and like a flocked toy from others. I am absolutely stunned. Off to check your channel for what you've done since this was posted :)
My experiments with this kind of stuff: the moment you have any dust on it the blackness goes away. So you can only really admire it when it’s basically in a vacuum or isolated from any kind of environmental dust. It looks black more impressively on video than in real life, my experience is that it just looks like black velvet
I call this one Starshine. It's like looking into space, complete with subtle (and not so subtle) color shifts. This is easily the wildest and most amazing finish I've seen on a car!!! If there were ANY way to turn this into something that would last even a few months, someone would make millions.
It would have literally looked a hundred times better if he had used vantablack which is the blackest black shade known to man. Still looks awesome though.
This is a 6/5! I thought the last video with black 4.0 was wild, but this is next galaxy. I love the colorshift and like others have said, the galaxy velvet effect is amazing.
That black is insane! It looks unreal and I love it. And with the hyper shift on top it looks like deep space or some digital rendering. I would love that. ❤10/5!
Wow, the way that black just eats up the blue/greens and leaves mostly the purple/amber behind with this... galactic sparkle is spectacular! I think it's allllllmost too much sparkle - a little less might look less busy. This is about as subtle a blue/green I've seen with these hypershifts. I thought for sure such a dark pearl wouldn't show up very well - I figured you'd try to go black 4.0 with a super bright pearl for the contrast - but this turned out great! Talk about something awesome for a show car!
This is by far the best paint job I've ever seen on a vehicle mind-blowing, awesome, spectacular and down right bad@$%. Really is disheartening that their is no way to make it last. I give this job a 5 hands down it can't be beat. (my opinion). Keep up the great work.
It's absolutely incredible!! I honestly think you guys just perfected the galaxy look you were trying to do a while back. The way it smacks you with the transition from the black 4.0 is nuts!
This has to be the best paint job I've ever seen on this channel and my personal favorite. If I had any way to describe this paint job it is like traveling through a wormhole or a four-dimensional Galaxy paint job, without the crazy colors. My favorite part is that you did it on my favorite car the Ford Mustang GT 5.0, which is my dream car. So thank you for this amazing idea because in my head I was going to go for a plan smooth blue... but if you want your DREAM car to be out of this world this is the paint job you want; PERIOD!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
wow - you just sprayed the universe over this car.....it looks amazing ...and this black makes it really perfect - never seen that dark paint before - of all i saw here on this channel this one is the most mystic and unique color i have seen ! very cool !
Wow that is absolutely incredible! I wonder if you'd be able to get even remotely close to that effect on a normal flat black paint or dip that would actually hold up well enough to realistically do a vehicle with. Would love to see you try that!
This effect only otherwise exists in the realm of those really thin velvets. The ones that have a glitter infused into the fibers. On this project? Gorgeous! It's just too bad it is too delicate to have for real. This type of thing is for the one-off visual pleasure that it brings when we look at it existing for the blip of time it does. 5/5 for the beauty so fleeting.
Utterly insane brother!! The blackness of the paint freaks my out as it looks fake being so well black 😮 The pearl overlay made the whole project for me.
This is gorgeous and so damn cool at the same time, something that's *very* hard to achieve. Too bad the paint job wouldn't hold up for any serious amount of time - because DAMN, I want that mix of the darkest of blacks and the shimmer of millions of tiny diamonds that shift into different hues.
I don't usually comment but that is the most incredible dip I have ever seen on a vehicle ever! It looks like something out of Star Trek. Absolutely amazing! Great video!
I had no idea Black 4.0 could be used on cars! It's so gorgeous. Edit: Just saw your other comment about it not lasting! It's a shame, but you're right, it is incredible. I have a bottle of 3.0 at home for paintings! It's gorgeous with the pearl on top, too. You've turned this car into the void of space haha
Nothing up until this point, nor anything after this point, will top this. This is a car (or rather the paint job) that I desperately need along with every other space lover on earth because as one space-affectionate man once said "Oh that's so cool, my computer can't handle the rendering"
I've been watching your videos for quite a long time, in my humble opinion this is by far your best work. It is a shame this can't be used for customer applications.
This is next level cool and as mentioned someone really needs to make a proper auto paint like the black just so we can have this color combo awesome job guys
I don’t think you ever could. Even if the coating itself was robust, any tiny dust or pollution particles would create a thin layer that would be noticeable and ruin the effect. Of course that happens on normal paint too, it’s just that this super black makes it much more noticeable.
This is just crazy, I bet it looks amazing in person. How long would this even last? A day? A week? Edit: lol, and then I read your comment that answered all my questions 😅
It wouldn't last "a couple weeks". If you watch the last minute or so of the video again, look at the non painted parts next to the dip - they're covered in the flake/pearls. There isn't aything actually holding the pearls onto the dip - they're just sitting on top. And that means that they will blow away in any kind of breeze, and God forbid it rains or you take a hose to it - that'd wash all of the pearls off and likely ruin the Black as well. There is no durability to this particular finish - none whatsoever. It's pretty for a couple of hours indoors, and that's it's limit. :/
I like it. It really gives off a "velvet" look. I am curious if there are other colors like this...Whitest white, bluest blue, and so on. Those would be interesting to spray as well if they did exist. 5/5.
DUDE!!! That's is " 0:36 Sprayfabulous!!!" WTF does it feel like when you TOUCH it??? I so want to see this or summin like with my own eyes!!! Beautiful fosho!!!👍👍
That is epic! It looks like CGI from a music video on film, so I can imagine it looks absolutely mind-blowing in the metal! The ultimate show car, if it's robust enough to survive being transported to and from shows (even in a covered transporter, or whatever you call the trucks that high-end cars are transported in).
WHAT IS THAT... VELVET?!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!!! He didn't lie, its the wildest paint job I've ever seen in the WORLD!!!! This car definitely needs to be parked in a garage! START THE BIDDING!! How much is this going for?!
What would happen if you mix that black with, say, a carbon black (flat or satin) as your base coat? Would it still be darker than a regular flat black?
I am wowed! Now I am trying to justify getting my 2008 Honda Civic hybrid painted like this! So far I haven't been able talk myself into it. What a fabulous combination!
*Thoooouuughts..?*
Looks like its made of rubies and diamonds damn
I'm glad you guys left it on for a week looks to be holding up very well however the zrg is oddly satisfying 😂 I don't know why it's definitely unique and you guys gotta get the Mustang out so people can see this
Black 4.0 but blue galaxy when zoomed in
I don't know how to explain it, but it looks fuzzy
youtube compression cant handle the awesomeness. honestly to even have a trinket sprayed like this would be so cool. too bad we dont have the durability tech yet
Answers to your potential questions:
- No, it's definitely not durable enough to spray your car in this. This video was just for fun. Do not spray your car in this.

Figure out how to, because damn that is a sweet ass paint job
SHOWROOM only!!!!!! perfect

We need someone to invest in Stuart and the Culture Hustle team figuring out how get the same level of black for automotive paint so we can finally get these velvety black cars we clearly all want.
That looks like a real-life rendering error. Absolutely incredible.
It looks like a 90s FPS parallax skybox.
If you haven't go see the previous video. 😳
I bet it was even more spectacular in person. The camera can't capture the irl magic
Ha, true - that rendering desperately needs more samples and AA…
Glitch in the Matrix O_o
I'm so lost of words for this one. This is the most spectacular and most unreal paint you ever done!
Top 3 being 2 or 1
So…. Top 2 then
Agree...
shame it's not durable :(
why not?@@understandabIe
that color black makes the car look like its been photo-shopped out 🤣🤣🤣🤣 trippy. the final product is stunning
It looks like soft black velvet, and if you rub it, it’s gonna be so soft !!! One of the coolest paint jobs I’ve ever seen !!
This is the best description
Thats the second time they do this. Before they used Musou Black on a Mitsubish. It looked even better imo, but i cant say how they compare in person.
@@piemasta93 thank you 🙏🏽

Came here to say it made the car look like it was wrapped in velvet or sprayed with velvet flocking. Gives it aa "fuzzy/velvety" appearance.
This is wild. The black 4.0 is incredible on its own, and this is one of the most spectacular effects I’ve ever seen on a car. Work of art.
The MOUSOU black isn't far off it.
For about 24 hours
Its like going outside on the blackest of nights and staring into the universe
I'm so sad that this isn't something that is long lasting. I'm literally in awe. Could you imagine seeing a galaxy vehicle just rolling down the street. I'd be completely mesmerized
Sounds like an accident waiting to happen
Shame about the large name stickers on the front & rear windshields 😞
Yeah a 64 galaxy!! That would be sick!!
well if BMW ever decides to sell their color shifting car then you may actually see it.
I know that has to be hot to the touch.
It's a shame that the hypershift won't last, the depth the black 4,0 gives to the pearls is beautiful. I'd love to see what this car looked like in the dark, the effect of street lights or headlights hitting it as it passes by.
Thats what i was wondering. Night time void car😎
It'd probably look like a cloud of point particles in the shape of a car!
Same! I'm so disappointed we didn't get to see that.
By hypershift you mean the purple pearl color right? Why wouldn't it last?
@@ZoiusGM From what I understand, and I've heard him say, these are peelable paint. I might be wrong on that, but that's why I said it wouldn't last.
It reminds me of a velvety, starry, sunset sky, or even something galaxy-esque. Absolutely stunned with the outcome, and kinda depressed that I know this paint job won't last 😭
Velvet Galaxy is what my husband and I described it as, so yeah we're on the same page as you.
Velour came to mind!
Planetarium vibe but still cool😎
Vincent van Gogh would love this paint job. Starry, Starry Car.
Hehehe, the phrase, "My god, it's full of stars" from the Stanley Kubrick movie "2001" came to my mind
A literal shooting star across the hood at 5:26, blink and you’ll miss it
The way the sparkles shift with the absolute black behind them makes it look like the car is at a different frame rate than the rest of the objects around it. Wild.
Between stars in the sky and panning a huge crowd at a concert with flashes all around.
Very cool shift color.
It is totally bizarre.. i love it.
So we are living in a simulation after all..
It's so black it looks like the world glitched and the car's textures didn't load
Im glitchin trying to look at this red/green floppin around under the fairy dust !!! ✨️🎵🎶🤯
At one point I swear it looked like a 3d galaxy on the close up 😂
It looks so cool, but that's crazy how the black just seems to cancel any hypershifting. I think this one actually perfected the galaxy look you were going for before.
Yes that's exactly what I wanted to say, this looks way more galaxy-y than their previous attempt!
Supercool
Had a blotchy look, but maybe that's just how the video portrays it.

@@michajanicki6860 you have an opinion, that's nice
10/5. The Mustang is done, you need to put it in a sealed, dust free box on a turntable with lights all around. Absolutely gorgeous!
Facts!
The intense black with a velvet shift is definitely the greatest thing you guys have done
It does not look real. It looks like bad CGI.
agreed
I thought it looked like a velvet as well. To bad it’s just for fun and not stable for real life use.
The black is so intense that it is a shock when you see the colors in that hypershift. BEAUTIFUL!
This is by far the most incredible paint job of anything that I have ever seen. It's like a rolling galaxy.
A Ford Galaxy, if you will...

100%. Id put an Elvis on the hood and trim all the ground effects in wood grain.

@@Broadpaw_Fox It'd be pretty interesting to see if there were aero streaking patterns after a low speed driving or something
I like it. It really gives off a "velvet" look. I am curious if there are other colors like this...Whitest white, bluest blue, and so on. Those would be interesting to spray as well if they did exist. 5/5.
There's the pinkest pink.
@dipyourcar I think you know what you have to do…..
This is beyond words. This a whole other level of crazy mesmerizing.
Looks like you painted the universe onto the car. Amazingly stunning. Unbelievable.
The hyper shift swirling through the water is amazing!!! It shows currents soo well! That would be awesome for a science experiment!
this is astonishing! It looks like the color is moving across the surface of the car!
DUDE!!! That's is " 0:36 Sprayfabulous!!!" WTF does it feel like when you TOUCH it??? I so want to see this or summin like with my own eyes!!! Beautiful fosho!!!👍👍
Would love to see other coloured shifts, hollows, glitters on this as it's stunning x
That’s so beautiful, it looks like the Northern Lights in paint form 😍
What would happen if you mix that black with, say, a carbon black (flat or satin) as your base coat? Would it still be darker than a regular flat black?
I love that paint! I had to wait for two months to get mine. I love how it looks in person on different works.
Crazy how soft it looks. Live shiny velvet? Nice job.
I am wowed! Now I am trying to justify getting my 2008 Honda Civic hybrid painted like this! So far I haven't been able talk myself into it. What a fabulous combination!
