Sir there’s another problem I think. I’ve seen that even though the video might not be paid, aome reviewers won’t criticise anything about the car because they know that if they criticise the next time the company won’t send a car for media or even call them to their events in the future.
Geniun conversation I i have take example,, i owned jeep compass.. every thing is good in that car , like build, quality interior, suspension, steering response is accurate, jeep engine is good But no one channel show their interest in that product. Even if u check same engine has been came in tata herrier, with lot of fit and finish issues, but many channels never give their negitive feedback for that car. Yes i agree service network is not strong point of jeep

In India ultimately the question boils down to, is the Jeep Compass worth paying extra 10 Lakhs over a Creta, Seltos or Grand Vitara? Compass is better, but not worth 10 Lakhs more than them.

When Harrier was launched it was declared as next best thing 2 years down the line the same channels who were praising the car left right and centre declared it garbage, they started pointing out issues with the car which they hadn’t earlier. I remember vikas bhai was the only one who said that steering can be calibrated a bit better and no one else did but ekdam se xuv 700 ke aate hi Harrier ka steering bekar hogaya and then again when tata came up with red-dark edition , Harrier ka steering acha ho gaya. Why the hypocrisy? That’s why I firmly believe that car reviews should be used for identifying what to look out for and be informed about the product but car apni budhi ka prayog karke lein. I think Mahindra has it’s PR going strong. There were obvious problems with the product that you could see during the test drive but UA-cam pe toh aisi wah wahi ho rahi thi ki baap re. For getting information about a car I only refer to V3 cars and Icn studio because I can only trust these two to provide with a genuine video highlighting the issues and praising the right things. Honestly at the beginning the first name came to my mind was " Motoroctane " as I strongly felt they were biased about TATA & Mahindra products ( Specially after watching INNOVA hycross vs XUV 700 Video ). Thank you for bringing this issue up. Had watched channels like Motoroctane making an absolute mockery of car community by peddling ads in guise of reviews. Only talking positives of certain "patriotic" brands, while not talking about any negatives. At times I noticed them selling absolute lies to make the car seem better than it is. Channels like these are dangerous as many people trust them and end up putting lacs of their hard earned money in wrong choices.
“Patriotic” brands is the key word here and such media channels are making full use of the andhbhakt janta’s emotions of being filled with patriotism when they see great reviews of “Humarey desh ki mitti/loha sey bani” brands - Mahindra and Tata. Saw many videos of Adrenox malfunctioning dangerously while driving wherein the digital speedometer goes blank or hangs. And everybody knows about the shambolic Tata after-sales service. They do create some good cars but nobody talks about the real issues people face after buying these cars. The aam janta are basically “beta-testers” of cars filled with new age tech.

Yes! , I've noticed Motor Octane and other so called big medias upload videos without mentioning that it's paid promotion. Since then i un-subscribed these channels and only have few medias in my subscription list.
Very insightful video. We are viewers and those of us who are discerning, definitely realise who the sold out reviewers are. It's not just their content but their mannerisms and the method of presentation that reveals their position - intent. An honest reviewer will be identifiable in his mannerism and both Gagan Chaudhary and Vikas Yogi are prime examples of that. I've seen them being irritated, even a bit frustrated at times with some aspects of a product or the company and these are indications of an honest person. A person who is always happy, sweet and charming is hiding a lot. As someone very interested in automobiles, I watch a lot of car channels, but when I want actual insight & info about a car, I turn to Gangan and ICN, like recently for the Jimmy drive reviews. You guys are doing a great job and that you are honest is a cherry on the cake. Your credibility, for me atleast, is way higher than any AutoCar or Car & Bike. Keep up the good work, there are good viewers who appreciate honesty and will always support your work (till you stay honest). Fine fine video. These days customers don't get influenced by established UA-camrs, they simply watch them see it as a review (presentation & features) but trust more after seeing the product in person and watching ownership reviews. A good presentation like how Gagan Bhai and Vikas Bhai can surely make customers shortlist a car. It is not about automobiles only but other products too. Some products are selling just because they are too common and it is literally impossible to turn the wave against them no matter what rival brands try or whatever issues these common cars face.

No PowerDrift , MotorBeam , MotorOctane were harmed during this video 🤣. Context : The face of PowerDrift (Sagar Sheldekar) once himself left the firm Bcoz of paid content and as he is an unbiased reviewer he can't sell fake information about products he used . So in sake of truth he left PowerDrift first in 2015 . And afterwards Vikram and Shumi (Shubhabhrata Marmar) left PowerDrift in 2021 end Bcoz they were sick of doing paid reviews and selling fake info to the public while in case of MotorBeam , they always sell fake info if Dhanil Vira is reviewing anything in a comparison video . While Faisal never does any kind of paid review he just shows us what is the vehicle . Do note that Powerdrift has many more media houses rather than its own domain and their names are ZigWheels , CarandBike . Stay aware stay safe from these kind of channels .

Sagar has his channel, however he more into premium bikes, but still his quality and presentation is awesome. I have personally faced strong and even vulgar replies to my comments on 'certain' car vlogger channels if I share my personal driving experience of that vehicle. It seems that there are some hot headed hires which are only there to protect the main channel owner. There are certain things which are a big miss in some cars like the recent Scorpio N but these keyboard warriors are tasked to demean the viewers in case they are not liking the video or praising the content creator. There are obvious signs in many vlogs these days which point them towards being promoted and that is OK unless you start humiliating the viewers just because they have a different opinion to the content creator's view. A good video which is an eye opener.

On highways the accidents happen when a car is cruising at 80 to 140. At this speed, no NCAP test is of any help. self-control, decent driving and alert mind are the only safety features which come to help. Despite the reality of then NCAP test, a famous Indian brand has made it big by claiming that their cars are the safest. Many reviewers also support the NCAP theory of safety, forgetting that in real life the accidents happen on account of high speed, tiredness, boozing or lack of sleep.

Context : The face of PowerDrift (Sagar Sheldekar) once himself left the firm Bcoz of paid content and as he is an unbiased reviewer he can't sell fake information about products he used . So in sake of truth he left PowerDrift first in 2015 . And afterwards Vikram and Shumi (Shubhabhrata Marmar) left PowerDrift in 2021 end Bcoz they were sick of doing paid reviews and selling fake info to the public while in case of MotorBeam , they always sell fake info if Dhanil Vira is reviewing anything in a comparison video . While Faisal never does any kind of paid review he just shows us what is the vehicle .
Do note that Powerdrift has many more media houses rather than its own domain and their names are ZigWheels , CarandBike . Stay aware stay safe from these kind of channels .

I have personally faced strong and even vulgar replies to my comments on 'certain' car vlogger channels if I share my personal driving experience of that vehicle. It seems that there are some hot headed hires which are only there to protect the main channel owner. There are certain things which are a big miss in some cars like the recent Scorpio N but these keyboard warriors are tasked to demean the viewers in case they are not liking the video or praising the content creator. There are obvious signs in many vlogs these days which point them towards being promoted and that is OK unless you start humiliating the viewers just because they have a different opinion to the content creator's view.
A good video which is an eye opener.

@@barunhalder1231 We know that NCAP tests are done at 64 Kmph and Indian standards mandate that a car has to come clean at 46 Kmph. In city, no car goes beyond 45 Kmph. On highways the accidents happen when a car is cruising at 80 to 140. At this speed, no NCAP test is of any help. self-control, decent driving and alert mind are the only safety features which come to help. Despite the reality of then NCAP test, a famous Indian brand has made it big by claiming that their cars are the safest. Many reviewers also support the NCAP theory of safety, forgetting that in real life the accidents happen on account of high speed, tiredness, boozing or lack of sleep.

All this things you told are already mentioned by Maruti head, you know why? They don’t care any safety concerns from their end.
@@barunhalder1231 maruti sells highest number of cars. The buyers know the worth of Maruti cars. NCAP is beyond any help beyond 64 KMPH or when it hits opposite to a moving car.

Tata Harrier never tested due to fear of not getting 5 star while other cars got tested.. etc etc lots of unethical in the name of GNCAP.

sir i need a suggestion.. planning for a preowned car ..shall i go for a diesel car or a petrol and then retro fit a cng. my daily runing is 60 to 70kms i live in uttarakhand, have been driving a cng since 10 years while i was in delhi now shifted to uttarakhand , here the cng price is 92 rs. and also it is not available all the time .. plus the long queues.. so will it be wise to go for a diesel.. i have 2 choice amaze and swift .. which is better?

From a very long time since Nexon has launched I saw that Rachit is doing lot of praise of that car and even my perception about the Tata started change after watching lot of videos of Rachit & Nexon.
So my question here is, you mean to say it was annual paid videos with TATA to promote their products.
Because often I see that he always recommends Tata Tiago & Tiago over other brands which I feel surprising.
And also take example of Altroz he praises a lot of Altroz but in reality the sale is not that great.
So pls reply
Less sale of altroz is due to punch as mostly people prefer suv aka crossover
