I can see how wisely Mr. Gagan twisted the video and explained the drainage system of Scorpio . Simple question was asked by Arun was basically the quality of rubber used by Mahindra in their cars. 2) How the water dripped from speakers and if due to massive pressure that drainage system of sunroof cannot handle then it must have overflowed rather than coming from mic or speakers 3) If Mahindra can spent so much in their R&D that they have also fitted a filter for leaf so they can use some sense in covering the area of speaker which is kept opened? 4) As u described in ur video that Mahindra have properly studied the Indian weather( in context of leaf wala filter) then aren't they aware of that Indian have habit or passion or tendency to come out of sunroof?

Very well explained and I agree that Mahindra should have investigated Arun’s car after the incident and after that made their own video. More importantly they could’ve turned this into an opportunity to talk about their manufacturing process to prevent such incidents. Marvellously explained gagan. There is a reason why your content is always unmatched and that’s because of the sophistication and also the amount of work and research put into it. The video shared by DDS cars just had a minor issue, that particular variant of the Scorpio N didnt have the sony speaker system and another massive issue that mahindra needs to fix is that the speakers are exposed and they are in the drain holes itself so if there is too much water then it comes through the speaker grates. Coming from cars that are built like a tank i really expected mahindra to put some brawn into how they design such intricate pieces of technology to keep up with their “Big Daddy” claims. Indian brands still have a long way to go before they can gain the trust that japanese brands have and their reliability.
Fully agreed with you. Mahindra could have responded in much mature way by recalling his Scorpio N and trouble shooted it. Then should have posted a video about actual reason behind it.
What is the need of recall ? If mahindra showed it , and its not leaking , why would they recall and for what ? If u use the sunroof against its intended purpose and dangle on the beading what would u expect ?

There is actually issue in the bidding quality in ScorpioN & thanks for explaining properly because as customer usually we don't pay that much attention on minor details..like how to check & adjust the sunroof bidding.
There is no issue in bidding , its not meant for people dangling on it , if people dont dangle on the beading (which is not intended utility of sunroof) then there would be zero problem ! People need to understand thats its illegal to stand out of the sunroof , even if u do so without dangling on it then also chances are less that beading will detach , just look at arun ganwar video the guy was dangling so madly on sunroof 😂

Bro... I agree with you... I bought new ciaz during monsoon time, and when I took it out driving some water sepeed into rear seat. Being owner of new car and that too maruti, you always feel something is wrong by car maker. I took my car, and dealer found out that rubber cladding of rear door was slightly bend. It was corrected immediately and never faced this problem again. I was planning to get rear spoiler on boot to look sporty, but then I got to know that if rubber fitting is not perfect, then water can seep into boot area, which will cause rusting. So one should take of of these things are avoid getting too Much after market enhancements.

I do feel that by sharing the video of a scorpion under water fall without any problems, Mahindra was trying to assure their customers of scorpion that the car is safe and without any structural or engineering weakness. Specific pieces may have had issue but in general the car is well engineered. That’s the message i took away from the Mahindra video. Rest i agree with Gagan that i would never put my car deliberately under a waterfall with or without sunroof 😊

Just saw Arun Panwar's latest video and in that you can see the speakers aren't covered properly, so high chances of water going through it into speaker holes and then in car, if respected Ravindra sir poured the water on the whole line and not focused it towards the drain. To conclude it's Mahindra's fault of delivering high hope's with good cost but lesser R&D and cheaper material used in the manufacturing of usually ignored(not to much seen or thought) components.

I've been a Mahindra customer since the last 13 years and have used 5 Mahindra vehicles till now. I also have many friends who use various Mahindra vehicles. This is the kind of background of vehicles I've used and seen others use of Mahindra and after all these years I can confidently say that Mahindra doesn't make any vehicle that is defect free. They are an upcoming brand (upcoming since 20 years now) who make strong bodies and strong engines, but their vehicles lack heavily when it comes to fit and finish, electronics and any other minor detailing. A few problems that I and some of my friends faced till date are listed below:- 1. My Scorpio's power windows didn't work properly from 15 days after the date of purchase and its been 13 years and even after complaining to highest bosses of Mahindra (including Anand Mahindra) the problem was not solved. I finally learnt to live with non functional power windows. 😅 2. My relative's XUV faced same problem and it too was never rectified by Mahindra. 3. Another friend who has a Scorpio has learnt to live with a non functional power window system too. 4. The last among us who bought an XUV, his car's TPMS doesn't work and also the rear seat doesn't tumble despite best efforts by him and the Mahindra (so called) service centre. Now I've bought a ScorpioN with sun roof, although my brother had warned me against it and I'm fearing what will happen during monsoon. As of now, the car is making a strange sound each time I put it from P to R or from R to D or vice versa. Have told this to the showroom guys who have zero knowledge of this fault (quite obviously) so I'm waiting to see what the service centre guys tell me when I report this to them on first service. Knowing Mahindra I'm already bracing up to fight a longish twitter battle with them and yet hoping that all turns out well for this piece in which I spent a lot of money. If anyone is thinking why I buy Mahindra vehicles after all these problems, well, I have just two reasons to do it. 1. There is no other vehicle which looks as grand and as robust as a Mahindra SUV in this price segment. 2. I feel proud when I see any Indian brand on foreign soil, therefore find it my duty to promote my country's brands till the time my patience allows me to. Finally I would like to say, all the inconvenience that a Mahindra vehicle gives me plus the arrogance with which Mahindra dealers and their officers treat customers is not worth buying their products, but if you are a person who loves his or her nation and can sacrifice some convenience and some self respect for the nation then just go and buy a Mahindra vehicle knowing that it WILL create problems for you sooner or later, and when it does create that problem, just say with a smile what I say to my friends in such situations, "Mahindra doing just Mahindra things" 😅

Very wisely twisted the entire scenario by Mr. Gagan. Please answer this: (1) Why were the speakers not covered ? As we can see there is no covering to protect the speakers from rain water entering. (2) Also, why is the beeding so flimsy? QA/QC has also been an issue with Scorpio N. (3) And how much did Mahindra pay? 😅
Speaker sits on lower floor. Sunroof is supposed to be close during rains. Water will never reach them. In case of small leakages, water will pass out via drain channels. Beading might be flimsy and I have said so. And all the paid videos on this channels are marked, I have build this channel on trust and not on clickbait or sensation.

But when it comes to the actual review, its channel like arun's we look out as he shares a genuine review. His reviews are closer to real world experience of thw car. I can see how wisely Mr. Gagan twisted the video and explained the drainage system of Scorpio . Simple question was asked by Arun was basically the quality of rubber used by Mahindra in their cars. 2) How the water dripped from speakers and if due to massive pressure that drainage system of sunroof cannot handle then it must have overflowed rather than coming from mic or speakers 3) If Mahindra can spent so much in their R&D that they have also fitted a filter for leaf so they can use some sense in covering the area of speaker which is kept opened? 4) As u described in ur video that Mahindra have properly studied the Indian weather( in context of leaf wala filter) then aren't they aware of that Indian have habit or passion or tendency to come out of sunroof?

Very well explained and I agree that Mahindra should have investigated Arun’s car after the incident and after that made their own video. More importantly they could’ve turned this into an opportunity to talk about their manufacturing process to prevent such incidents. This looked a little childish and they missed an opportunity to better the brand. Par is vajah se agar bookings cancel hote hain toh chalo thoda waiting period toh kam ho jaayega 😝

Marvellously explained gagan. There is a reason why your content is always unmatched and that’s because of the sophistication and also the amount of work and research put into it. The video shared by DDS cars just had a minor issue, that particular variant of the Scorpio N didnt have the sony speaker system and another massive issue that mahindra needs to fix is that the speakers are exposed and they are in the drain holes itself so if there is too much water then it comes through the speaker grates. Coming from cars that are built like a tank i really expected mahindra to put some brawn into how they design such intricate pieces of technology to keep up with their “Big Daddy” claims. Indian brands still have a long way to go before they can gain the trust that japanese brands have and their reliability.

There is actually issue in the bidding quality in ScorpioN & thanks for explaining properly because as customer usually we don't pay that much attention on minor details..like how to check & adjust the sunroof bidding.
There is no issue in bidding , its not meant for people dangling on it , if people dont dangle on the beading (which is not intended utility of sunroof) then there would be zero problem ! People need to understand thats its illegal to stand out of the sunroof , even if u do so without dangling on it then also chances are less that beading will detach , just look at arun ganwar video the guy was dangling so madly on sunroof 😂

Bro... I agree with you... I bought new ciaz during monsoon time, and when I took it out driving some water sepeed into rear seat. Being owner of new car and that too maruti, you always feel something is wrong by car maker. I took my car, and dealer found out that rubber cladding of rear door was slightly bend. It was corrected immediately and never faced this problem again. I was planning to get rear spoiler on boot to look sporty, but then I got to know that if rubber fitting is not perfect, then water can seep into boot area, which will cause rusting. So one should take of of these things are avoid getting too Much after market enhancements.

The main reason for that bidding got detached was the guys all the time were dangling on the sunroof , thats not what it meant for , thats the main reason why that beading got detached , if he haven’t used the sunroof in that way , the beading wouldn’t have detached in the first place ! I do feel that by sharing the video of a scorpion under water fall without any problems, Mahindra was trying to assure their customers of scorpion that the car is safe and without any structural or engineering weakness. Specific pieces may have had issue but in general the car is well engineered. That’s the message i took away from the Mahindra video. Rest i agree with Gagan that i would never put my car deliberately under a waterfall with or without sunroof 😊
Looking at Arun's video was not a thumbs down for me, but looking at Mahindra's response I'm afraid if suggesting a Mahindra to anyone. Insulting your customer is the last thing any company should do.

Superb Video Gagan Bro. But surprising part is a silly ytuber is given so much of importance in first place, if that is the case then eveyone should make videos of all big small issues they face in their cars instead of getting it fixed and moving on. People are just greedy for views and a few of them know well about how to make fantastic use of negativity publicity, like you rightly mentioned!
Just saw Arun Panwar's latest video and in that you can see the speakers aren't covered properly, so high chances of water going through it into speaker holes and then in car, if respected Ravindra sir poured the water on the whole line and not focused it towards the drain. To conclude it's Mahindra's fault of delivering high hope's with good cost but lesser R&D and cheaper material used in the manufacturing of usually ignored(not to much seen or thought) components.

I've been a Mahindra customer since the last 13 years and have used 5 Mahindra vehicles till now. I also have many friends who use various Mahindra vehicles. This is the kind of background of vehicles I've used and seen others use of Mahindra and after all these years I can confidently say that Mahindra doesn't make any vehicle that is defect free. They are an upcoming brand (upcoming since 20 years now) who make strong bodies and strong engines, but their vehicles lack heavily when it comes to fit and finish, electronics and any other minor detailing. A few problems that I and some of my friends faced till date are listed below:-
1. My Scorpio's power windows didn't work properly from 15 days after the date of purchase and its been 13 years and even after complaining to highest bosses of Mahindra (including Anand Mahindra) the problem was not solved. I finally learnt to live with non functional power windows. 😅
2. My relative's XUV faced same problem and it too was never rectified by Mahindra.
3. Another friend who has a Scorpio has learnt to live with a non functional power window system too.
4. The last among us who bought an XUV, his car's TPMS doesn't work and also the rear seat doesn't tumble despite best efforts by him and the Mahindra (so called) service centre.
Now I've bought a ScorpioN with sun roof, although my brother had warned me against it and I'm fearing what will happen during monsoon. As of now, the car is making a strange sound each time I put it from P to R or from R to D or vice versa. Have told this to the showroom guys who have zero knowledge of this fault (quite obviously) so I'm waiting to see what the service centre guys tell me when I report this to them on first service.
Knowing Mahindra I'm already bracing up to fight a longish twitter battle with them and yet hoping that all turns out well for this piece in which I spent a lot of money.
If anyone is thinking why I buy Mahindra vehicles after all these problems, well, I have just two reasons to do it.
1. There is no other vehicle which looks as grand and as robust as a Mahindra SUV in this price segment.
2. I feel proud when I see any Indian brand on foreign soil, therefore find it my duty to promote my country's brands till the time my patience allows me to.
Finally I would like to say, all the inconvenience that a Mahindra vehicle gives me plus the arrogance with which Mahindra dealers and their officers treat customers is not worth buying their products, but if you are a person who loves his or her nation and can sacrifice some convenience and some self respect for the nation then just go and buy a Mahindra vehicle knowing that it WILL create problems for you sooner or later, and when it does create that problem, just say with a smile what I say to my friends in such situations, "Mahindra doing just Mahindra things" 😅
Well inshort we can think car reviewer with extraordinary unknown knowledge about whatever vehicles r like pseudo who can showcase all type of vehicle with all greatness this that but when it comes to real world ownership experience, dealership working process, customer treatment, service, etc they don't know the heck about them.
They r like cherry on the top of tatti tasted brand

Very wisely twisted the entire scenario by Mr. Gagan. Please answer this: (1) Why were the speakers not covered ? As we can see there is no covering to protect the speakers from rain water entering. (2) Also, why is the beeding so flimsy? QA/QC has also been an issue with Scorpio N.
(3) And how much did Mahindra pay? 😅
Speaker sits on lower floor. Sunroof is supposed to be close during rains. Water will never reach them. In case of small leakages, water will pass out via drain channels. Beading might be flimsy and I have said so.
And all the paid videos on this channels are marked, I have build this channel on trust and not on clickbait or sensation.

Yes, may be you are more sophisticated and knowledgeable than Arun, you explain properly about the features and specifications of the car, like an advertisement. But when it comes to the actual review, its channel like arun's we look out as he shares a genuine review. His reviews are closer to real world experience of thw car. Where as, you are just explaining the brochure to the audience.
