Govt needs to lower gst on hybrid cars, even better give subsidies so that we are encouraged towards going in that direction. Most of the brands in India have their electric vision mapped out going forward. But as of now, evs are too expensive for any buyer out there. Maybe 7-8 years down the line, they won't. That's why instead of giving subsidies on evs, govt should give subsidies or tax relaxation on hybrid vehicles and prepare electric infrastructure in the countries along with private players for future.
Tata and Mahindra won't let government promote hybrids. They just want to offload their crappy diesel and petrol engines on Indians till they are ready for EV transition.
As per my knowledge, this is not a ban but phasing out of diesel vehicles. Earlier some oil companies were estimating 2030 as the year when diesel vehicles would have been phased out. Oil companies are already preparing for it. Same is with automakers.
Govt. strategy to not depend on middle east countries for oil imports. In the future, middle class family of owning a car will again become a dream. Thanks to Modiji.
We should invest in making fuel out of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen in air, PORCHE made 1200 rupees litre petrol from air , PORCHE said it can be as low as 120 rupees litre, if it is developed world wide (its carbon negative)
Ethanol addition in petrol is only going reduce the mileage of petrol cars along with power output. As far as diesel cars are concerned, unless and until companies are making diesel cars you don’t have to worry about buying them. If you have budget buy one go for diesel cars.
I want to buy XUV700 automatic by next year and scared after seeing this video. That massive petrol engine is thirsty !! Please suggest if it’s worth going for petrol xuv automatic
Good suggestions by committee to govt. . Is there any suggestions to govt. about electricity infrastructure which is most important. Till date many of the villages does not have electricity and few cities are still having power outages of 6-8 hrs. Govt should fix this loop hole first before going towards mandate of EV vehicles.
Its unfair that we are having strict regulations on diesel cars while people from USA are burning diesel from their monster V8 engines with more than excess polution.
The entire world is transitioning towards EVs. India should capitalise on this trend and make our great nation a EV manufacturing hub which will provide employment to millions of hardworking Indians. The large amounts of Lithium discovered in J&K and Rajasthan is certainly a huge advantage if capitalised. I as an Indian do not wish to be dependent on the Middle East and other foreign countries for my energy security.
Vehicle pollution can only be controlled or reduced if mass transportation systemss like - Local trains, Metro trains , Trams , Luxury City buses etc. are aggresively implemented and started. People should not feel like using their private 2W,4W for city commute. If diesel is so bad better all buses, trucks, other commercial vehicles are first deregistered and replaced by battery vehicles. Strong Hybrid Self charging vehicles are better options in today's situation
If someone needs to travel 100 kms a day , only option is diesel. We don't have EV Infrastructure at all. Longer trips are simply impossible in Evs. Petrol engines are not efficient eventually using more fuels. Lot of confusion over hydrogen as well. It's better to make a concrete policy for manufacturers as well consumers.
All the people commenting in support of diesel, understand this: diesel is 40 times more polluting than petrol. It's one of the leading cause of toxic emissions and carcinogens (cancer causing agents) and destroys your respiratory system. Also it causes nausea and headache and intensifies motion sickness. It's not about carbon or CO2 emissions. And don't worry about "oh what about source of the electricity ? It's still coal for most part!" Once the hybrid and electric system is in place as a crucial component, electric generation is steadily and decisively moving towards green sources. Remember green doesn't just mean low CO2, it also means low toxins, low pollution and lower cancer rates
Looking at how rashly the decisions are made and executed now, I'd not buy any fuel car recommended. Just hold on to what I have, buy used if required, and only wait for a good electric car. No petrol, diesel, cng, hydrogen, hybrid. I don't know how the transport sector would survive these decisions.
I am also live in Gandhinagar, i don't think Gujarat major city change thair rule till 2030 after that I think diesel will be phase out step by step so enjoy driving 7-8 years or more I guess 😅
They should ban diesel . Its fine.. but why not provide tax concession for hybrid vehicles so that more hybrid cars are sold..!! Just banning things won't help

Much needed video, i was looking for this 👍
Good suggestions by committee to govt. . Is there any suggestions to govt. about electricity infrastructure which is most important. Till date many of the villages does not have electricity and few cities are still having power outages of 6-8 hrs. Govt should fix this loop hole first before going towards mandate of EV vehicles.
Sir, bs 6 phase 2 implement hone ke baad, what is real difference in pollution that a petrol car makes and a diesel car makes?
No difference bs6 phase 2 diesel pollutes less then bs4 petrol car
@@MayankSingh-mu3uo the question is for comparison between bs6 petrol vs bs6 diesel
Its unfair that we are having strict regulations on diesel cars while people from USA are burning diesel from their monster V8 engines with more than excess polution.
Yaar yeh channel bohot he underrated hai..
Thanks for your information to all automotive electrics energy engineering my best wishes to you always 🙏🙏🙏👍
What about diesel hatchback like altroz? Will we get it's spare parts and all after the company will discontinue it's manufacturing
Only 1 who has driven a good diesel will forever be a Dieselholic
Most of my municipality approved apartments don't have proper parking place for all cars. Where would they charge their cars every night??
societies will have to implement charging stations else charge at fast charger network just like a petrol bunk.
@@nishant115me no safe place to park cars is bigger concern
I bought ather last December. I also think same like this video
ATHER ka torque awesome he. 10 percent battery pe bhi acha pick leti he and 90 kmph run hoti he pick up drop nahi hota
What about military vehicles?

Bhai Maine abhi 2 mahine pahele hi tata safari li he...jo only deisel me aati hai to uska future ?
Gandhinagar Gujarat ...future kitne saal tak ?
I am also live in Gandhinagar, i don't think Gujarat major city change thair rule till 2030 after that I think diesel will be phase out step by step so enjoy driving 7-8 years or more I guess 😅
I’m planning to buy Tata Harrier in June 2023 so what do you suggest? Should I buy or not?
consider the new innova hybrid
They should ban diesel . Its fine.. but why not provide tax concession for hybrid vehicles so that more hybrid cars are sold..!!
Just banning things won't help
Yes but government should think about it
Your command in urdu - Hindu is really good boss 😊
