- How do you keep over 20 RARE gecko babies? Well the answer is what I call the 'Micro Stand'. This stand holds 4 rows of 5 tubs per row and contains some of the rarest geckos I keep. Let's take a tour of this amazing Micro Stand.

I like those plastic containers! I’m planning a betta fish grow out rack using them, I like how sturdy they are and about 2gal, nice size. Man, those geckos are SO cute!

I really like that you keep your geckos in a more natural type enclosure instead of on paper towels..im sure anyone will understand that they poop every day and no one will expect you to clean all those tubs on a daily basis..

The Cave Gecko baby was very cute , looked like My 3 year old Female “ Mushu”when I got Her from Tikis Geckos as a baby, but She’s a Goniurosaurus Luli.

Wow! What an amazing setup! I am not super knowledgeable on all of those scientific names of geckos but I do know that they are really awesome animals!
This is one of our most important racks as it really promotes the close management of these little gecko babies.
Do you work with goniurosaurus species? If so, i would love to see some video with them!

Aww! So cute! Why do you mix types of geckos? Is it because they are the same size or were they born at the same time?
Same size. When you have one of this or one of that, then two weeks later have additional hatches, it makes sense to mix. But, when I see size differences, like we saw in the video today, they start getting moved out (which is my job tomorrow :) Great question!

Interesting, the baby to adult metamorphis the Paroedura Bastardi babies look brownish like a Mourning Gecko, but My 3 yr old bull male Parodura Bastardi “ Bourno” is big (4” long) greyish or even concrete color all over , and He has a fat spiky tail with brownish stripes like a tiger.
Yes, exactly. They REALLY do change over time. Their tails as babies are still a bit spiky. Not much but you can tell what they will grow into.

How would a vivarium setup be for these Geckos in terms of Natural Habitat imitation ?
Well some are more terrestrial and arid, and some are more arboreal and tropical.
what size cage should one have for a small gecko? can we keep them in tubs also ? i love the idea
For which type of geckos? I love 10 gallon aquariums or 15 qt. for most. 12x12x18 exo terras work well too.
Do these more rare geckos also have common names, or just the dinosaur names?
:) Dinosaur names. This made me smile. Yes, they do. But a couple of times, I've nearly shipped an unwanted gecko because a customer asked by common name and not the Genus and Species so now, I find it easier to refer to everything this way.

How often do you have escapees? I’d be super nervous feeding even without trying to film.
Whenever I do a video like this one :) (actually, one of the chondros took a little trip up my arm before getting shooed back into the enclosure- you can probably tell by the frantic movement and sudden cut of recording :) I'm usually pretty careful about moving geckos but once in a while one will take a little trip. 99.99 % of the time, I find them the same day.
I’ve had mourning geckos escape dart frog enclosures while feeding. Those babies are SOOOOO small!
I lightly tap on the door or cage to let them know I’m opening their vivarium, for feeding or other maintenance so they scurry away from the door.

How long can you leave these together in a mix of species?
