you should go to boracay and behold and Palawan and battles in the Philippines. why don't you try to do a Filipino food mukbang. eat some lechon, pancit, sisig , barbecue, lumpiang shanghai, kaldareta and sinigang.
You two are very smart! This is all I could say.
Singing is how we get through life. We sing when we are tired, excited, lonely, sad, etc. Singing makes life better.
Sad to say even in Funeral
We also sing when we get angry😂
Even when working, we sing or hum. If music is removed in our system, Filipinos will be lifeless. Music is our way of life.
Pag nag iinuman.. kakanta ako😅
Sooooo TRUE.
I love it when Efra said "Philippines is a Unicorn in the industry, must protect at all cost"---spot on, I just love Efra. I love Waleska too!
Yey I got a heart from Waleska!!!Thank you so much :) Your channel is always number 1 on my list. ♡♡♡
When I was still in school it was common for the teachers to ask the good singers in the class to sing a song. A little break from the lesson to wake up the class. 😄
My English teacher was a music lover. She gave us a project where she asked us to sing and we had to provide our own minus one (yes, I'm that old. Hahahaha!) I sang I'd Rather Live While I'm In Love. Among all the students, she chose 5 of us and made us perform everytime there's a school event.
@@aleanahsacar4214 ergh.. dream come true of our high school lives especially when ur crush is in the crowd too. Those with not so golden voices, not so much... 😂🤣
@@mnm2156 I love to sing but I hated singing in front of a crowd. But Mrs. Pilar was so convincing and well, she's a teacher so you have to abide by her. And the school I went to had separate classes for the boys and girls. We hardly could see them! Nuns are so strict.
@@aleanahsacar4214 hahahha i hear you! over-the-bakod meet-ups 😄
I can relate 😉👍
I am a teacher in the Philippines for many years and in different institutions. Your interpretation about teachers supporting music is real. Even the terror professors use singing as their form of punishment. 🤣
True and grade incentives 🤣
Trueeee.....hahaha... i myself had to sing infront of the class like a croaking frog just to get .05 in my grade to make it 75 and pass the subject... hahaha
i was punished too hahaha
Haha. Sometimes, yes. In 2018, our 71 yr. old dr. professor told us to learn "Tagpuan" by Moira. I found that cool tho. He said that atlest twice a month he listens and learn new song. The next day? We sang it. hahaha But I am one of the Filipinos who can't sing.😂
I wanna join iieeee wanna join these type of schoolsss loll
4 levels of Singing:
1. Easy
2. Moderate
3. Hard
4. Filipino
a few of my colleagues hates it when I randomly sing in the office not because of my bad voice (I can carry a tune a little) albeit only the timing. what happens is that everytime I'm in deep thought or stressful situation, I would randomly sing softly songs usually from the 90's. After a while, those around me unconsciously would sing a long with me. They hate it because they would have LSS(last song syndrome) and for the whole day the song would be stuck in their head sometimes lasting until the next day.
The Philippines as a whole is a treasure trove of talented people, and this is an understatement.
Waleska I'm 66 years old and still singing Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O,day songs. Whenever you'll be here in the Philippines I'm inviting both of you to stay in my house in Novaliches, Quezon City. I really like your personality
waleska and efra must notice this mommy edith 🥰 for me they have the best reactions. i love them also .
I am a Filipino but I really don't realize that we have this "Natural Support System" until Efra and Waleska said it in one of theirs RVs.
I was like "Yeah, That's true! But I really don't realize it because it's normal here!"
I guess Philippines is really different coz in school we encourage kids to show us their talents. We have this subject MAPEH that starts from grade2 til high school, where we let children dance, sing, draw, act, orate or do sports.
So that teacher's will know who's most likely to be the dancer, singer, sportsman, orator, artist, actor, etc. 😄
Then we make them show it during special events at least, like school contests/competitions, intramurals, even in flag ceremonies. Haha 😂
Projects or group projects can be related to singing, dancing, drawing or such and that's the start of it all.
When I was in my teens, my buddies and I will be performing anywhere. In my twenties, I used to be a member of South Border (they were not popular at that point). Until I left Phillipines and South Border took off with a bunch of hits like "Kahit Kailan". I was so proud of them. My brother Brix and I were separated for more than 25 years.
Now, we hooked up together again and started making music.
As a 50% of
"InEfekt",
my brother and I will continue making music until we are not able to do so.
Yes, we are back making music,
(All Streaming Platforms Globally).
And yes, we are taking our music to the next level.
Come along and join us.
We are Born Filipinos and are Proud of it.

This November, we will release our Christmas EP.
Watch out for it.
We hope that you'll like it.
These two excellent reactors deserves all the support and love in the world, Both smart and knowlegeable certainly knows what theyre saying..Kudos!
I love how they praise us and our ability to sing. They are one of those reactors that actually research about Philippines, our music and stuffs. They are very genuine about how they love our country. Waleska and Efra.. We Filipinos love you sm ❣️❣️
I can't emphasize it enough how singing is so much a part of our culture. And yes, Ballad is King. When I was 4, I didn't know how to read or write but I knew the lyrics to 'I Have You' by the Carpenters. My father had a collection of LP's and he'd play it everyday. In school, we had music classes that mostly teaches us Gospel songs. There are choir competitions, singing competitions and school events that always involves singing.
In the Philippines some vans and cars have karaoke so that while travelling especially long hours of travel we sing to have fun amd not to get bored and the driver will enjoy and will not feel sleepy.
Singing is part of our culturemost household have karaoke machine.
Regular Filipino who can't sing and/or can sing doing thing in regular bases:
Doing Laundry (hand washing and not washing machine): Sing
Cleaning Dishes: Sing
Taking Bath: Sing
Moping and Cleaning the House: Sing
Doing Homework and Calculating Taxes: Sing
Doing Anything and Everything in Between: Sing
Conclusion of Filipino Life: Anything you do, sad, happy or angry you must SING!
Filipinos are always at their best when it comes to singing and dancing. God has bestowed upon us these talents for sharing into the whole world. MABUHAY FILIPINAS!
In the PH I run a pub with live acoustic singing and also videoke/kareoke and amount of customers who can sing, like sing sing is amazing. Culture of singing
When I was in elementary, my teachers were always asked me to sing whenever there’s an event in our school. They were so encouraging and so supportive, so I forgot being nervous singing on stage because of them.
During university, when we rallied against tuition hike, we did it through singing all day. Hahaha we were heard😎😎😎
The BEST ENDEARING TRAIT why I love both of you is due to the fact that both of you are SENSITIVE IN SO MANY WAYS, EFRA especially because he will VOICE IT OUT, I RESPECT that and also PROTECTIVE to your LOVELY equally beautiful sister, KUDOS to both parents for that, enjoying, watching all the way from MANHATTAN NEW YORK, watching this on my way to work as a NURSE
the police and the band are anti-rally police.. rallyist would shout bad words and make noises. so the police would confront them with live band and loud music. so that everything will be peaceful. (because if your a rallyist no matter how hard you shout. you will never overpower good music)
@Efra, I've heard you mentioned Janno multiple times. Ahmmmm.....where's the cover? 😊😊😊✌️✌️✌️
now, Efra needs to sing Janno Gibbs at the concert man! even if only 1 line please!!!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂
Just loved how you say it.. "Philippines is weird. Philippines is the unicorn of the Industry, must be protect at all cost"...
SALAMAT PO!
9:57 its Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough by American singers Patty Smyth and Don Henley in 1992. The early 90s showcased much rock ballads from the West. You can still hear a lot of these songs played in FM radios, specially during commuting hours (both in the morning and evening) and weekends.
So many worker's here in the Phils.after work they get together, some are they hang out for came in a videoke bar, some its sing after work to realease stressfull after a whole day work..just a simple sing a song to release a stress for feel enjoyment for singing...its feels realx they mind...
The video with a lot of policemen happened during the first SONA of the newly elected president of the Philippines. There were a lot of protestors that's why the PNP played songs to counterfeit the noise of the pretestors.
(just stating what I sae from the news)
Yes..that's true..
Hi Waleska and Efra. There seems a never ending musical talents that you can discover in the Philippines thru UA-cam. I as a Filipino is very much humbled by the appreciation you show whenever you hear Filipinos sing. Humility aside, i am also fond of singing in kareoke with my friends who can also sing. There are lots of them. I hope you can come here and jam with some of them❤
Music in pH is life
...and singing is like it's blood. From toddlers to college we where encourage to sing. Fun fact, mostly filipino's know or familiarize the rhythm and melody of the song before the lyrics of it.. sometimes we just sing the song on melody but the lyrics is different bcoz we don't memorize the lyrics. And also we can hear it thru radio stations everyday..so it's just listening to a song always make s you a singer...ha ha...so your reactions about singing in pH...God bless you guys..
yes!!!!!!!! Im A Fan of Ez ,Kz. Im finally going to see them Live💙💙💙💙💙💙💯
OMG you guys crack me up. I appreciate all the wonderful comments. Singing is so much part of our culture, ingrained in our genes so to speak lol. My entire family can sing (except myself). But because everyone is doing it, eventually you just learn a bit and improve over time.
wow you both are part of the concert CONGRATS !!!
In school, there's always this one person who could SAAAANGGGG. 1 person per class. And intramurals was the best part of school because of the singing contest and the beauty pageant. We cheered our hearts out for the class rep. After all we had a year long bragging rights on the line 😅
Guys, please come to Cebu! I'll tour you around!
Speaking of prisons, check out the clips of prisoners in a prison in the Philippines dancing to Michael Jackson's thriller en masse.

Nuhhhh, if your a visitor her n d philippines, you'r always d STAR....JUST SING...
Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough is a 1992 Patty Smyth and Don Henley powerful song.
During school breaks, students would often play the guitar and sing. There are teachers who jam with the students.
Among Filipinos there are people like me who can't carry a tune but still sings at home. Often in the bathroom. 😄
hope you can experience the buses with karaoke in the Philippines.. ❤️❤️❤️

High school life is the most fun memorable school time for filipino, you will find forever friends, you have too many adventurers with friends, experiences, and good memories. That's why graduation time we cry being separated with your friends in high school. College life is serious, you study hard not to waste your parents money sending you to college with hope you will finished degree of education as Filipino saying knowledge is best gift.
Bcoz so manny filipino can sing.
Again, in our school when the teacher is absent in one particular subject the sub- teacher will make either write or perform(sing/danece) infront of the room.
When i was in elementary thats one of my favorite part in our school. I performed (sings) a lot! Coz my teachers always calling me first to perform🤭😊. I was a boy in elementary but my voice really like a girl's higher pitch back in elementary. But i still do singing up to this time. In short FILIPINOS really loves singing. Just sharing 🤭🥰❤

Efra’s explanation is always on point
The one with the policemen, its the way of the police to pissed off the people who were rallying against the current president . While they were shouting, the police were singing their hearts out 🤣
Bago lng to diba😂😂
7:50 I'm just lucky my generation was one of those when high schools here in the Philippines started the Special Programs in the Arts and Sports or SPA and SPS where in the SP in the Arts(SPA) we have different specialization like Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Media Arts, so on and so forth, and SP in the Sports(SPS) obviously mainly focuses on sports.
By the way I chose SPA - Dance but I also sing in like Battle of the Bands, or some competition in our school or interschool competitions connected to singing, but I also participate in dancing contests, I just wanna flaunt this sorry
Same I'm also a pioneer of the SPA/SPS Program and I choose dance as my discipline but I'm also a part of our school's band corps in which I'm a lyrist. I'm just so musically inclined, and I can't go on a day without music.
And at the time when people are living in poverty, when students really don't have the gadgets like bluetooth speakers and stuff, everybody will sing the song that they want to dance, then viola, everybody can practice their 4th grading exam contemporary dance🤣🤣
Man I miss those days, high school was fun
Go to boracay... Its like heaven...search in you tube how beautiful is boracay..where the sky meets the sea❤️
Here in Philippines being a teacher means you have to be talented because every time there is school program you have to teach the children how to sing and dance even you don't have a talent in it. 😂
hahaha!!! that "taxi-oke" I love you both
Grabeh!!!! Efra lodi!!! you made my day man... been laughing all throughout this video...hahahaha respect to both of you..hi beautiful Waleska..love you guys..😎😎😎

Awww Waleska
I'm sure you'd also like the voices of the southern children's choir! It's a look into indigenous music made with modern twist.
Learned so many songs at school that I would not have known about if not for the jam sessions.... leader of the band. bizarre love triangle, when I met you.... etc. salamat po I still know the lyrics since those memories became part of my most fond memories back in school.
The policemen sings in the rally of those anti government to calm the situation.
Hello Waleska and Efra I've been watching your reaction videos and it truly warms my heart when I hear you speak or sing a phrase of tagalog song.
Thank you for the entertainment of your videos, GOD BLESS!
Love from 🇮🇳❣
You will definitely like INUMAN SESSION ( LAHAT MAGALING KUMANTA) ...this is a classic drinking sessiom where a group of ordinary men were singing and they are all good...it is also in you tube.....thank u..
If you announce you are coming to Phil, a stage and mic is waiting for you guys
The filo people just have magic singing abilities they are incredible
Singing in the car while driving in the Philippines might work because of the traffic. You won't be driving too fast in Manila traffic. Lol.
You'll get ask to sing in a party or any event IF only there would be a chance since a lot can sing and want to sing. Hope you could check out Lea singing Alone by Heart in a bar. It was an impromptu, she's just out with friends but since the audience saw her presence so she was asked to sing on stage.
Legit my uncles van has built in karaoke....we always have fun when travelling.
Very true people in the philippines they really good in singing even beggar homeless street children ask them to sing they can really sing good not just good you really get amaze .. its hard to belieeve but its true in the philippines . THE SINGING capital of the world is philippines no more .
