This is norm in the Philippines when they hang out. Before karaoke, someone always play guitar & someone always sings if not everyone in the group take turns in singing
❤ expect this to happen at every little gathering in the Philippines. I would love to see Josh and/or Lucas jamming with the locals like this in a few months! 🤭 I think i read in the comments once before, you barely scratched the surface of the singing capabilities of the Filipinos. Even our local police force and military have their own bands. Mga kabayans, subscribe kayo sa kanila para updated kayo sa activies nila…ang saya nila mag-react and they’re gonna be moving to the Philippines soon!!
That's the fun part in family/friend gatherings. We basically make a reason to sing in every karaoke whether that's inside the house, or at the side walk 😆. 🍋🦓
This is normal in the Philippines. Small gatherings or any parties would be boring without karaoke haha. I'm sure you gonna experience this kind of party when you visit the Philippines because Filipinos are welcoming and hospitable. Thank you for always reacting about Filipino singers.:)
Its part of an everyday routine in the Philippines, i had a vacation in the Philippines for 3 weeks, and im not kidding each day, especially in the evening after dinner we sing with karaoke. Its fun esp. while drinking.
The Philippines is saturated with good singers. You REALLY need something extra special to make it in the industry. Sadly, a GREAT voice alone doesn't cut it sometimes. But I still love how that never stops Filipinos from singing. ❤
This song was famous back in the mid 80s. Sang by Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight. It's an immortal song here in the Philippines.
In the SM store in my city, the employees are usually near the karaoke machine singing. It's probably to promote the products or something but I'm just really amazed by how good they sound every time.
Don't be so self-deprecating, Lucas. You are talented, with your own unique voice. And we do appreciate you guys, taking time to feature our Filipino talents and appreciating OPM. Thank you and kudos to you, Josh and Brad of course 😊🙂
Trivia: Some barangays(smallest political unit) in the Philippines have passed a law banning karaoke singing after 10 pm. Otherwise, Filipinos will continue on till wee hours of the morning. Singing is a way of life for us, we sing as we clean our homes, cook our meals, wash our laundry and it is a must to put babies to sleep.
Imagine how many people in Philippines having birthdays, wedding, christening and even funerals at the same time and doing karaoke at the same time.. filipino are great singers.. even just a simple gathering..
I love seeing you watching random ordinary Filipinos singing. Since u will coming to Philippines you will get used to this in every hang outs with loads of friends!
In the US it’s weekend barbecues or dining out. In the Philippines it’s very common to drink with friends in houses and garages or backyards and karaoke either with occasion or just plain weekend. We could even do with a bluetooth mic and speaker and just play the karaoke via youtube. Almost always someone in the bunch knows how to sing.
This is just normal in the Philippines. They are not practicing, they are just having a good time. Filipinos do the normal karaoke singing to enjoy with friends, families, relatives. This is normally done during Birthdays, Baptismal, any celebrations or just a normal days to play videoke to unwind & release stress, be happy & enjoy the day with families & friends. MUSIC serves as HEALING & HAPPINESS to Filipinos. LOVE & LIGHT!
They are just simply hanging out together as friends. So typical in Filipino gatherings. But I believe they are in a Band so they truly are professional singers/performers. ❤❤❤
If U both are wondering how this symmetry came about, usually, those of us who can sing naturally become friends. So they find themselves coming together often, especially during special occasions & events like what ur watching now.
And these guys are mostly half-drunk. That's the miracle in karaoke in the Philippines. The alcohol kills all hesitation and people don;t care if they make a mess or create magic like this. I know coz my neighbors do this on every special occasion. You can tell the level of drunkness based on the performance.
Josh and Lucas, Lemuel Llamas is the first singer. When u come here, come in birthdays or fiestas you can experience that kind of kareoke singing. ❤🎶🇵🇭
🍋🦓 I bet if they saw this video they would be the ones who will invite you to hang out with them at their backyard. Love this, as usual. Can't wait for your official launch in the Philippines. Enjoy the SB19 Pagtatag concert in Dallas! 😊
They're my uncle's friends from different bands :) They're from Batangas City, Philippines. Watched them live and up close on my uncle's birthday, we're soooo hyped up!!! They are indeed performers!
@6:41 no, don't retire your singing voice. It's actually the best place to improve your singing voice. Imagine having the license to sing just about anywhere! I personally think that's why talents like these are seemingly so common. They get so much practice!
I know you are still wondering why filipinos are so good at singing. Here's why, first, our tongue is so flexible that we can imitate any accent and so obviously, it's easier for us to follow the tone or tune or melodies. 2nd we have a good hot weather that helps us to bring our lungs out (belting) bec you know that winter affects your voice right? Since we never had snow here, our weather maintains our voices in shape. And Yes the 3rd would be the KARAOKE
Wow finally my request been granted to watch videoke or karaoke in philippines 😂❤ its normal with filipinos though. There was a karaoke with friends singing listen by beyonce that was crazy
🍋🦓 Thanks for exploring your time to Filipino talents. For sure, you will never run out of videos to react on Filipino's alone, we have tons of undiscovered singers here on our country. God bless your team.
Limuel is a amateur singer that is joining song contest in the philippines. even singing contest on television. but i'm not quite sure about his friends. Thank you for the genuine reaction and appreciation guys! kudos! :)
🍋🦓 Filipinos love karaoke so much that the government had to put a curfew on its usage.😂😂😂 If I'm not mistaken, some cities can only sing karaoke up until 10pm🤣
If they gather together with or without party if they know someone can play guitar and anyone can sing or have a some confidence to sing they put them on spot to do it to enjoy .
It seemed that there will be another scenario like this with Limuel (the first to sing) soon. Josh, Lukas and Brad will be there.Thank you for your reaction. 🍋🦓 You mentioned before that there's something in the water we drink, there's some on that table😜
it's funny how you were really wondering if they're in a group or just happened to be singers hanging out together when in fact this is quite norm every party in the philippines 😂. it's always that all of the sudden people who can sing starts coming out 😅
When my siblings and I gathered in our home with our parents we do karaoke while my brothers and Father is drinking beer 🍺 and the girls are coffee and juice with foods and its just so much fun. Then the neighbour came over and friends and many more.
We look forward to you guys visiting Philippines and go to bars, restaurants with live band/s, or just random birthday celebrations or any events anywhere. So you can just witness what a “normal day in the Philippines” look like 😅🎤🇵🇭
You guys should do that with your friends and record it just for fun. I did this when I used to live in Boston. I had a punk band in the living room and acoustic guitar/ sing along at the back porch. The back porch was packed. The police raided us due to the band being too loud. You could hear the band 8 blocks away & we didn't have a permit. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😜😜
This is just a normal party here, a party without videoke is not a party...... videoke rentals here are booming, every weekend you will hear a lot of party with videoke going on and be ready to your vocals and nobody cares also if you are bad in singing......and THAT'S how children here are trained and learned how to sing, they don't need schooling, children are listening, copying and imitating and building confidence in singing in videoke, this were started it all, the monster Filipino singers🤩🤩
When Filipinos hang out with their friends,, 100% they're drinking alcohol, it's just for fun and when they are drunk,, Their talent automatically comes out. So the karaoke is there😂😂😂😂 that's life in Philippines. A normal life😂
Also many Philippines bars still have live band who plays top 40 from every decades. You can request practically any song and the band will know it. It’s a cut throat business when many of the singers/musicians are trying to get club gigs domestic and internationally.
Hi Guys. I really enjoyed watching your reaction…..This is really normal in the Philippines, we love to sing..we sing when we’re happy, sad even if we are broken hearted we sing our heart out
You should come to the provinces and drink with the locals then for sure you'll find someone belting ballads in between Red Horse and gin bulag shots. LOL
Dionne Warwick,70s . Next time you visit Phil’s. Just get in and join no need invitation, just bring with you a bottle of Fundador .lol.dec,January best time to be in Phil’s. So you don’t sweat while singing.
Walk around the neighborhood after the new year fireworks are done and you'd get pulled into a house with karaoke blasting and lots of food and alcohol.
They're regular Filipino folks who just hang around drinking and having a good time. It's typical in most gatherings in the Philippines. There's almost always have kareoke!
It's just so funny that in my family, we have the courage to sing even harder when there's a mic and the spirit of alcohol... the real talents come out... shout out to my cousins, bros, sisters😅
If you want to know about who Limuel Lllanes is, just type Limuel Llanes cover songs, and you will be amazed of his talent on singing. He has his own band and has a lot of covers songs. He is one of the best singers in the Philippines. He needs to be recognized internationally.
"THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR" sang by Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, Elton John & Gladys night. Originally sang by Rod Stewart. Always in any Filipino gatherings kareoke is happening even here in USA.
🍋🦓lol if you live in the middle class areas (majority of the country is and not at BGC), then you'll hear karaoke everywhere lol. humans do karaoke in the evening, chickens do it in the morning. RIP sleep 🤣🤣
Its a common thing here in the Philippines, hanging with friends and having a drink..Thank you for appreciating it..God bless on your plan in going to the Philippines
love watching your reaction videos! I think every Filipino around the world loves to do karaoke at gatherings. watching here from Germany who loves to sing in Karaoke with Filipino Nurses while drinking German beers! hahaha Our neighbors (germans and other races) are used to it already!! hahahahahha
In all honesty it’s pretty common. Just drive pass resorts in laguna that are occupied and you’ll hear normal people singing like PROs. It’s so normal that the only time we notice it is when foreign people are shocked hearing how amazing filipinos sounds.
Filipinos loves to sing wHILE hangingout to drink , passing the mall with kids to purchase whatever and stops when they see a vacant mike. This might be an ordinary event. But you cant deny Filipinos Got Talent! THEY HAVE "THE" VOICE. Filipinos Represent🇵🇭
