In this air fryer, lid is not air tight. Fries: a few things to be ensured- use fresh potatoes, cut into even wedges, pat dry using paper towel has to be dry-moisture will make it soggy, add 1 tbsp oil, dont overcrowd in the air fryer. Hope this helps.
Dear Madam and all Good Folks watching this video, there is NO NEED to break the top of the black Plastic Handle. It is REMOVABLE - atleast in our Mesh Basket. WHY? The handle become very hot. You will burn your fingers trying to lift out the basket. So you remove the handle after placing the basket in the ActiFry. You put the handle in to lift the basket out. So NOT a COOL IDEA.
If it’s removable why would I take the trouble of cutting it??? It’s not removable & this is the only way the tray fits in the basket & the lid can be closed.

Yes, you can do that. Great idea. Saves space and time. We have done this two tier cooking.
I like to know, after locking the lod, does the lid make the fryer air tight?? My French fries came out little saggy

Tossing with some cornflour helps in absorbing the moisture and the french fries will be crispy.

Nope, Dehydrate setting is not available in this model.

The video is flawed as u didnt show where to put the oil.the tefal manual is garbage gibberish.your video is great otherwise
