Hey you inspired me to attempt it in my car I spent weeks watching and researching on how to install and how it’ll look in the car man this great thank you
@@gekkoman4853 i don't know if it's a different year thing? I don't even know where the amp is on these. my plug was right there, I wouldn't be able to show it any better.
@@mayracingandfabricationco.20 I believe I bought this off ebay but it may not be manufactured anymore because it is a few years old now. For what its worth, they have a website. xtrons.com/ Thanks

No problem, I think the worst part is remounting the hvac controls solidly. 👍
how was it
Radio actually fits in the double din conversion kit just fine ..no mods needed 👍🏽like a glove ...literally
Your text commentary is great fella! 😂
I had to go watch it again lol, thanks 😄
i installed a 10.6" screen in mine built into the console. I want to upgrade to a larger screen. I was big into car computing
Nice, any pictures or videos?
Thank you!
Do you have to move the heater controls or is that just a thing most people do?
I think it would be fine not moving them but it might be difficult to get at them with the screen in the way.
@@AndyFromm well I have a 97 and I was just looking around for Different setups and all. This one caught my eye. I might look into it more
@@austintyndall1246 thanks for checking it out and good luck to whatever you end up doing 👍
What’s the park called that’s holding the radio and where can I find it ?
Simgle din radio cage, i think they are pretty much the same but i came up with xtrons FRA002.
There is some on ebay. 👍
Ok thanks
I ment to say, I think the xtrons cage is about the same as other regular aftermarket radio cages.
Where was that second black wiring harness??
Mine was just down on the right
@@AndyFromm ahh, well I can’t find it. I pulled the amplifier out. Is there any way you can show or is the car no longer there?

@@gekkoman4853 i did some googling, if the amp is where it showed me, there can't be that much wiring to follow back.
@@AndyFromm yeaaa, the connector is different than the one that was provided. I’m convinced I have the wrong part now lol
Do you have a link for the screen?
No, I don't think they sell it any more.
how is the radio lasting n doing
Still working great, don't get much time to drive the car though
Whats the wire harness you used in the video ?
I think it was similar to this one, I couldn't find where I bought it from to be sure.

@@AndyFromm thank you 👍
@@cliffjumper5621 no problem 👍
Which head unit did you use
Is it a double din unit or single din?
@@Weber1987 xtrons, this was a single din.
Your "paws"...they're just TOO big for this kind of job!😁
Lol, they get pretty scratched up
Andy, where to buy and is the screen "touchscreen"?
LoL. You answered my question at the end of the video other than where to purchase.
@@mayracingandfabricationco.20 I believe I bought this off ebay but it may not be manufactured anymore because it is a few years old now.

Radio 1din?
Yup
Is it work with 2003 ?
The trim piece is a little different on a 2003 but could be made to work or install the trim from a 1998.
Looks kinda stupid with it not being flush
I know but it's too big for that without cutting it all up. I had it from a different vehicle.
It’s a version of that same exact radio that doesn’t have the huge back part
