I have loved this song since the first time I heard it. The words “ Love of My Life” are engraved on my wedding ring.

In current-day concert tours, the guitarist Brian May still/always performs this song himself in honor of his friend, Freddie. Brian sings/plays the first part of the song himself, with the audience joining in... Then, larger-than-life Freddie comes walking out onstage on a giant video screen, and he leads the audience through the last chorus. It's always a BEAUTIFUL tribute to friendship.

Great reaction to a beautiful Queen song, Freddie wrote this song for Mary Austin, his one true love, they remained very close friends until Freddie passed away and in fact he left Mary most of his fortune and his London home in his will, so I guess that says it all really.

One of the amazing abilities that Freddie possesses is that he sings every song as though he wrote it himself. John commented that Freddie was his voice for songs he had written.
