But that again is like saying many whte folks havent heard "Love Train" by the O`Jays....or Otis Redding`s "Sittin on the dock of the bay" Seems unlikely right? Oh..and btw.. there is no racist innuendoes to be found here...just casting out a thought that it might actually be true they havent heard it before...even tho how unlikely it will seem for most.

Exactly pure talent. I was a teenager when this was first released and it was in the charts for weeks. I saw them at Live Aid in the 80s. autotune isn't what people think it is. it doesn't make people who can't sing be able to suddenly sing. It just smooths out pitch, the obvious effect of when you use it on someone who can't sing it sounds like a robot, because you have to turn the retune speed down so far.
Plenty of artists today who have music that is known for their singing ability have auto tune on their studio albums, you'd be insane to say that most of them don't have obvious vocal talent.

I love Asia's reaction to this. BJ, this is the 70's, not the 80's, brother, the styles and hair were a lot different between the two decades. What most people don't realize about this video and it's significance is that this was the first of it's kind. No other band had ever done a "movie", "video" to promote a single, or an album before this. This video inspired every other band in the world to try and replicate this process and it also help to create MTV and VH-1. Without these kind of music videos, there would never have been the cable TV stations. Please react to The March of the Black Queen, 1974, from the Queen II album. That song was the prelude to Bo Rap.

I was 16 when this came out in 1975, it was a huge hit with us youngsters , we had never heard anything like this before. I remember at school one day we were lined up outside of a classroom waiting for our teacher to arrive , we got bored waiting and two boys started singing this , we all joined in singing it from the beginning , other pupils passing by stopped and even the headmaster came out from his study to listen to us. It was such fun.

Must've been great i'm sure! Sadly, by the time i reached 16 it was already the year 2001 and so much had changed already. The only thing i'm really happy for is that i got still a little part of my life that i was "concious" enough (mid 90's to 2000's) where i really really loved everything in life, i was happy! I still was up until 2009. But times had already changed very much and in 2009 i got leukemia. Everything went downhill from there to be honest. I needed a stemcel-transplantation in 2010, i got Graft versus Host Disease in 2012 and ended up in a wheelchair. And since 2012 i got in and out of the hospital each year, sometimes weekly, sometimes every other month. Much recently i got my two Pfizer vaccins and two weeks later i got covid after being safe for 17 months! I finally ended up in coma for 12 days and was tied to my bed for three days straight while intubated. Having claustrofobie, that ain't no joke i can reassure you that! Now i'm still recovering. But while in coma they have seen that my heart has a bad "valve" and i will need open surgery at some point in life. It might be soon or late, that is something we don't know yet. At the moment i'm too weak to even think about surgery. I also have endocarditis (which is a bacteria) on that same valve on my heart. And to make it all complete, my mom passed away almost three years ago. So yeah. The 70's absolutely must've been wonderful times, much more respect for towards each other just in general i think!
Anyway, sorry to everyone to bother you with my story. I just like to write it off me sometimes. 😀 I wish you all the best! 🙏🏼

Bohemian Rhapsody is the apex of rock opera. This song is a musical roller coaster. An amazing fact about Queens' lead guitarist Brian May. He was actually working on getting his Ph.D in astrophysics when Queen was formed. Music meant so much to him so he put his doctorate on the back burner. After Freddie Mercury died, Queen disbanded. Even while still part of the group Brian and his father designed and built a new kind of guitar. Brian's IQ has been measured in the 160's. That's even beyond Big Bang Theory smart. So he was a real genius on top of being a musical genius. after Queen disbanded, Brian went back to working toward his doctorate. He finally got it in 2006 or 7. He's now Dr. Brian May Ph.D. He's also written about 6 books on the subject of astrophysics. He's even works with NASA periodically.

This group was super talented. Each member had mad skills. But the singer, Freddy mercury had such a unique voice. The entire song is in metaphors! Freddy didn’t shoot a man with a gun it’s a metaphors! He was struggling with being gay and he wrote this song as a farewell to his former self by putting a gun to his own head and killing the former self and apologizing to his saddened mother whom he really loved! He had a rebirth in his sad new self in a troubled life yet he didn’t care and carried on! He later died of aids in 1991 by his wrong decision and lifestyle! It was an epic song from mid 1975. The Guinness book of recorded stated that Bohemian Rhapsody was truly a MASTERPIECE and worthy of being the BEST rock song ever written! He later went to an almost military crew cut style which is how I always picture him. There is a fantastic biographical movies about Queen and Mercury that came out in 2018 or 2019, also entitled "Bohemian Rhapsody" that is really outstanding. The harmonies were done by over laying each voice 20+ times to get the effect. Roger Taylor, the drummer, hits the highest notes

I was in 6th grade and it was just another great song. I am 56 now and I am re-appreciating this. I love seeing reactions like this. Music is physical for me and I get chills and tears every time I hear this.
