You will need iron ore. The basic workbench is crafted with iron ore, and you need it to make food and oxygen. The T2 Warehouse isn't better than the basic one. Maybe it has more columns per row, but it still has only 5 rows, and it's much bigger. You want to build some because it increases stack size, but once you get to the maximum of 50 it's not worth building more of them. There's an upgrade to the water purifier that will purify it to 100%. There are batteries in the game to compensate for lower power at night, though you'll probably switch to geothermal power when you unlock that. And keep an eye for the vehicles! They are fun!

One thing this game can learn from Satisfactory is conveyor and pipe placement.

Also I don't want to spoil much for you, but I find the things in the material analyzer and planet analyzer really help you open up the things you can make better stuff faster. Play at the speed you enjoy though obviously. You won't see large nodes of the higher ore stuff you need later on the radar until you do the different levels in the material analyzer. You have to go to specific areas for the large nodes hot/cold etc. Opening the rover is great to drive the coasts of different spots is helpful to find the higher level ore spots. Harder to see in the air for me personally. What i did for part making, laid alot of radar around different areas. Then I looked what some parts needed for them and went to spots it had the ores i needed close to each other and made a whole new small base there. I made different parts putting them in a warehouse.

Worse yet, I think you can "break" the discovery of you find stuff before you unlock the proper level through terraforming goals. My radars refuse to show me sapphire.

@@dcsobral come to think of it, I don't think my radar shows that either and i opened it all up. Can't remember now I finished it like a week ago. They are in cold area like a few later ones are located you will need. I just drove a rover all around the outer edge and found stuff i needed.

For the beams automation, consider switching the parts producers. Have the short belt produce rods and the longer produce the plates. That should balance out the numbers in the assembler.

17:15 the foundation didn’t get rid of the terrain because it was placed on top of the terrain, instead of syncing with the previous foundations, you can see the shadow it cast on the lower ground.

I find that building foundations out by the water and lining up a bunch of water pumps, each with the own 4 way, all connected works great for when I have stuff paused or whatever, all the water is on one "main" line. so if one thing that need 2.5 pumps worth and one thing needs 3.5 I only have to build 6, instead of 7.
I give 3 foundations for the pumps to sit on, 3 space, then one up and put a line of 4 way valves all connected, then connect each pump to a four way, that gives you one line out for each pump, and an extra at each end of the line. (I save those for possible expansion)

If you spend a ton organizing, the game will take you forever =) If the conveyers cross, it doesn't matter for them to function, but visually it doesn't look good for some who care about that. I didn't care that much for visual. Sorry for so many comments, I like to watch your videos and finishing this game wants me to give advice like you have given me in other games i started to play. I love this game, I can't wait till they add more things to do.

This game is gonna drive you nuts if you want the conveyors to be clean and organized lol. It’s best to just space the machines out well, run splitters between and just let them clip/overlap

T2 Warehouse is absolutely worth it, as they raise your stack size in your inventory by 10 for each one you build, up to a max of 50. The T3 does the same, up to a max of 100.

    • @eugenebeanblossom
      @eugenebeanblossom 2 місяці тому +1

Correct and some of the items will require 400+ of each part and the T1 warehouse cannot hold that much.

I usually use drone to insert 4 way. I think it works better with drone. I was the one on last video that mentioned it. Yes sometimes it doesnt look like both sides connect. There is a snapping animation and I usually click it then. I am glad you figured it out. I use this alot to make more water pumps and connect them in the network. The water network and electrical network are great.

You can try putting the pillars and make the pipes go on top of them. Or once you have the tunnel digger, make actual tunnels. Though you might be too close to sea level where you are to make a proper tunnel. Also, if you have two inputs on the double storage then both outputs will go at the game time.

I suspect on adding the 4 way pipe connection, you need a straight section of pipe, if there is a difference on either side of the pipe, I suspect it causes it to fail to align, as the pipes on one side will not align with the pipes on the other side, thus a fail.
The Tree Farm is producing 60 organics per minute (1 per second) which is being split 30 to the warehouse and 30 to rubber manufacture . Rubber requires 3 organics per 1 rubber (max at full organics 20 per minute, with split 10 per minute). The rubber is then being split 50/50 between the warehouse and the Belt Production. at 2 rubber per belt while the organics are not backed up from the warehouse This quickly slows to 5 rubber per minute or 2.5 belts per minute. Throughput will increase when the warehouse become overfull with organics as that conveyor will stop accepting organics, bringing the rubber manufacture up to 20 per minute. and the belts to 5 per minute. When the warehouse is full of rubber, the full throughput of 20 rubber per minute will go to belts reaching peak speed of 10 belts per minute.

Much to my surprise, I discovered that you can build all your ugly buildings inside the mountains and hide them completely. Even the Temperature Regulator which you will soon unlock ...it's a real behemouth! But you can even hide that one under a mountain. Then too, you can string up a bunch of windmills all up under there giving power to the mountain above with none of the eye sores! You'll need to green up the entire map and that proves to be quite the grind! But the grind won't be too tough if you just go ahead and automate the production of all the components you'll be using the most. The only drawback with warehouses is that while you can belt items into it, you can't belt them out of it. Machines that require materials belted into them won't be able to pull from the warehouses! This proved to be a royal pain in the ass when I had Saphires in a warehouse in the Frozen region that I needed to get into a machine all the way across the map! Building bridges helps to belt them across large bodies of water. But make sure that the bridge is flush with the ground for your cars to drive over them. Otherwise, they will get stuck in the platforms and if you have a conveyor there it will stick to the conveyor and get pulled along on the conveyor across the bridge until it reaches solid ground on the other side. You won't have to do anything. You could even exit the vehicle and just let the conveyor take it across. It's the only way to get the car off the conveyor ...just let the conveyor carry it to the other side.

It is separate from the T1. They also raise your stack size up by 10 for each T2 warehouse you have, up to 50. The T3 raise it by 10 each, up to 100. I would advise putting warehouses everywhere.

Just wondering why you still care about containers - as soon as warehouses are available, you simply don't need them anymore.
Oh, and totally st up your iron works and the like - assemblers are the way to go. Steel bars, electronics... everything is easier with assemblers and warehouses ^^
