I genuinely cant play this game without making the zombies more realistic. Making them deal little structure damage and less painful to deal with made playing waaaay more enjoyable. Seeing you struggle was very entertaining and will be watching your other videos

A 200 days continuation would be pretty sick. There's still stuff to do, like getting better vehicles, trying different builds, etc. The hardest part is already done so might as well keep the party going!
Its comforting to see other people struggle so hard in the early days like I do, most streamers breeze through with no problem. By noon ive already been mauled to death by a couple pigs, got a broken leg, a sprained arm, infections, and im dying of thirst and hunger.
The really painful thing was watching him reinforce the horde base with his stone hatchet while he had a claw hammer in the same hotbar just two slots away
I got an 11 hour car ride today from new york to Ohio and then back to New york. This is definitely going to help pass the time. Ill probably watch the darkness falls playthrough again for the 5th time too
Dude, that early game feeling when you get an AK, Pump Shotgun or even a decent Handgun. It's literally Christmas. In my current play through, I'm day 16 and I just found a level 5 pumpy. Glorious. Great content, as always.
Can't wait for part 2 to this series. Would love to see you go to day 200 but respec to a different build and try out a new weapon set. Would also be cool to see you try to run tier 6 and 7 that are infested in the wasteland lol. Your last series you really only ran a tier 4 because infested pois are always one tier lower that the actual tier you are on.

Man, it's been so long since I tuned in to a gameplay of 7 days to die. I gotta say, I'm glad that I still have those feels of wanting to watch a gameplay of games that I like and doing a challenge too! Nostalgic.
The only reason you think that questing isn’t worth it is bc you didn’t put any skill points into daring adventurer. When you max it out the rewards get so good that Jen will give you a gyrocopter after her final quest.

Well that was a good 4 hrs spend while i play some monster hunter world on my deck. I always love these 100 day survival vids and the 100 days project zomboid vids. Honestly my favorite genre are 100 days survival game vids. Gotta thank the algorithm for once bringing me to this video.
It may be "cheesy" .. but extend your ramp/walkway out from your hoard base and place back-to-back handrails .. space out those barriers (to cause them to jump) and between them place the 60deg pyramids on the walkway to cause them to trip and fall off .. this will space out the zeds to allow you the chance to survive/kill them .. and yeah. I know this is two months old when I posted .. good vid series .. thanks for doing them ..
Try the rifle and penetrator skills with AP ammo. Rifle skill gets a killstreak damage boost starting at 30% on the first kill up to 50% on the 3rd at max rank Penetrator lets AP ammo pierce multiple enemies up to like 4 or 5 at a time you just need to be careful with aimming as it also gives AP ammo 1000 block damage. Spears and fist weapons are actually really strong but both require their own unique skillbook to actually be great and I did watch the whole video before spouting off before anyone gets upset.

I aint no veteran in this game, but i just wanted to say that if they hadnt changed it: 1:Molotovs are extremely underrated, bcs they deal a ton of damage and dont destroy terrain. 2: The magnum pistol called vulture or something has piercing bullets when maxed out, its really helpful for horde nights. If 200 days come out, i hope u use the rocket launcher :D. Great video, enjoyed it a lot.

Problem with Aks and Submachine guns is that sure they fire your ammo really fast letting you kill the zombies "Quicker" but the longer you hold down the trigger the wider the area the shots fire to the point shots miss zombies 50% of the time basically wasting 50% of your ammo, ive noticed every time you shot a zombie with the ak the surrounding blocks near the zombies get hit with strays which hurts the blocks very slightly but still wasted ammo, you require certain mods that help reduce the recoil (semi mod or bipods and laser sights) so most shots still hit zombies, best weapons for horde night are single shot weapons that have fast fire rates like pistols/magnums, snipers with more than 3 shots and shotguns, and if ur maxed in it bows but not crossbows, hope this helps
Next challenge: Insane Nightmare, 300% block damage for enemies, 50% less loot and a mod that swarms zombies at you constantly 🤪 I doubt you'll even attempt this haha. But seriously, I loved this series it was so much fun!

Like, imagine every fat zombie was a cop, vultures spawn all the time, and, by default, zombies know where you are at night. Surviving to day 2 was a win. And as someone who has played DF and Ravenhearst, I'd just be glad there's no fucking gigantic bugs...

I really recommend not skipping gas pumps you can get forged steal and iron from them they’re easier then going to light post and if you get a big gas station poi it really adds up
For editing sake, they added a profanity setting where if disabled, it takes out all audio with profanity. Lol it makes rekt a whole lot more tolerable 😂
great work struggling against the odds like that one bit of advice for the LARGE hordes when they stack up if you use armor piecing rounds the will go through the zombies in the front and hit the ones behind and it will help keep their numbers down as well as stop them from squeezing through the cracks
Having tried day 1 insane w/ sprinting myself - yeah, absolutely tedious to kill any zeds, especially with tier 1 stone weapons. My mate started our server like that for a hard experience, but it just wasn't fun - we got him to turn it down 2 levels and it was a lot more fun. That said, now that I've shaken the rust off from the game, I'd like to try it again - I think making liberal use of wood spikes would be quite key, especially when doing missions (and IMO at least 10 missions is more or less essential due to the bicycle). One thing I'll note now that I'm 2 hours into the video - you can mix and match armor; while some set bonuses are nice, many of them aren't that great compared to what an individual piece can offer you. For example, I'm using the lumberjack boots in my mining set, because the sprint stamina reduction is more useful than the mining set bonus. On top of that, having individual pieces around to swap on at certain times is very useful. Practically everyone should carry a nerd vest around and swap it on when they read books, just in case they get a double skill out of it. Anyone doing farming should have farming boots for extra seeds. One thing I haven't done yet, but want to, is to get a full set of the +loot gear (scavenger I think?), or at least every piece from it that's useful for looting, and swap that on after clearing POIs and doing my looting with the bonus on (as opposed to the usual MO which is to loot as you go). Also, fists are great if specced into. Admittedly playing 2 steps down from insane (warrior I think), but went strength first for mining (for exp), then fort for a fists build, and my god are my iron knuckles tier 4 amazing. Don't use much stam, power attacks frequently knock down and stun zeds, and that gives you time to pummel them while they're coming to. The full build is pretty capable of taking on many zombies even on insane.
Hey for the grenades all you have to do is spam click a few they’ll roll down then pull the pin on only one and they all blowup it’s much more efficient
