.... I picked the '23 Challenger ScatPack Widebody Shaker with the manual transmission, EXACTLY like this one (except white)!!! Definitely not the fastest of the trio but, DEFINITELY the best looking/most fun to drive!!! Racecar 🏎️💨.😜
Challenger, for sure. It's the closest to a real muscle car. I purchased a 2023 (with Last Call plaque) Challenger T/A 392 Widebody. It has four packages: R/T, Scat Pack, T/A, and Widebody, with a 392 (of course) and a manual transmission. Replacing the stock shifter with a Hurst Pistol Grip one made a HUGE difference.
I agree. This car is not the fastest but who cares? It doesn't need to be because it is so much fun to drive. This car feels so good, so unique, so rewarding as you drive it and you do NOT need to be in "First place" to have fun with it. This car is NOT about being the fastest and coming in first place. I own a Lamborghini and a Z06 and I swear I am having more fun with my 6.4 Scat Pack Shaker. Unbelievable. I never would have believed it.
Did they do a similar one? I had a rough idea that we developed while on location, but maybe the fact that I saw it months before influenced me subconsciously, ha. Glad you liked it!
The manual transmission has 3 more HP and 10 more ft-lbs of torque over the automatic. So, it's 488 HP and 485 lb-ft of torque. Plus, it has a 3.90 rear gear vs. 8:49 the 3.27 gear in the auto. Plus the manual.has no MDS, so no switching to 4 cyl mode; less to break. I do agree about the shifter. On my 2023 Challenger T/A 392 Widebody, I changed the shifter to a Hurst Pistol Grip one and it made a HUGE difference in the shifting feel and actuon. Plus. the "Hurst Equipped" plaque for the rear looks cool!
I have a 2020 widebody challenger scat and my bud has a last call with a manual and he's a experienced racer but he cannot beat my automatic 8 speed to save his life!! We've raced at least a dozen times and I always gap him a half car!😅
I totally understand why this Challenger last call edition is $85K?!! But when I see the prices today I just can't stop thanking myself for buying my '18 Challenger Scat Pack brand spanking new for $36K! she's got 33k miles I put her in storage for the winter months.."Dodge, the brotherhood of muscle"
2020 Octane Red Scat Pack 1320. Flowmaster Outlaws with resonator delete. Glad I got it. Love it. Keeping it. I can't believe Dodge has discontinued such a cool car.
I love the alternate to the three point turn! It's a magnet for law enforcement and goof balls who want to challenge you to race. Mine didn't cost $85K, I got a really goof deal.
I agree that it’s a little bit too quiet, so I’m doing a mid muffler delete and adding vibrants, from the videos I’ve watched it sounds very close to stock but deeper and 25% louder, should make the car perfect.
We're still trying to find our "niche" so we're experimenting a little, which as you have noticed includes trying what others do to understand why and how they do it. And thanks for the kind words at the end :)
0:27 Now I found the donut clip of the outro 👏🏼 13:40 ohh, that Amber light! 🙌🏼 13:50 Really didn't know that there was a hole on the bonnet 🫣 I watched it yesterday (on 23rd September, 2024), absolutely after a year.
You guys couldn't handle a muscle car that's why you keep trashing this. You can drive your BMW 'S and keep bitching about a real muscle car that has more tech and luxury than you boys have ever experienced.
No car is perfect, and you somehow managed to focus on the one negative thing we had to say about the Challenger instead of realizing that we spend the whole video praising it.
🇺🇸 We've now reviewed them all! Challenger vs Mustang vs Camaro - Which one would you pick? 🤔
Mustang is just ❤
Challenger anytime ( retro look) 💪

The smiles on ur guys face is priceless pure joy.🙂✌️
Such an amazing vehicle... still thinking about it weeks after!
I have the same smile when I drive it. It never gets old.

I'm so happy to see this. I love my 2020 Widebody Scatpack Shaker. It is so much fun 🔥
Wow, that’s saying something !!
That intro is pulled straight of the Dodge Super Stock review from throttle house. I love it

@@GCCarsCA it's goated man
Challenger is the goat of muscle cars loved the review by the way
It really is fantastic... so glad we got to drive it! And thank you for the kind words!

The ZF shifts faster so the minimal hp difference on the 0-60 though manuals are more fun for some people

Really nice one. 👍
Thanks a lot! We put a lot of work into this one so we're glad to hear that it was worth it!
What a beautiful baby! Love mine! It's also a lot of Hemi for half the cost of a Hellcat.
This is the best car review site period…. Very well done
Means a lot to hear that, thank you!

$36K is absolute steal from today's perspective! Glad you got one while you could, the Challenger is awesome!

My guy can drive! Awesome video!
Thank you :)
@@GCCarsCA most definitely!! Save Manuals!!!!
Nice done; same as my Challenger except their's is a manual; and my muffler mods are louder.
I love the alternate to the three point turn! It's a magnet for law enforcement and goof balls who want to challenge you to race. Mine didn't cost $85K, I got a really goof deal.
Oh so they're challenging us to a race? I always pulled over... guess I just got to go faster next time! 😁
Great job communicating your emotions
Thank you! Glad we were able to convey how awesome the Challenger was :)
Nice! I have the same exact car, lots of fun.
Glad you're having a blast with yours!
Are you guys testing the Last Call "Vanishing Point" Challenger and "Bullitt" Charger(s) ?
Unfortunately not. This was the only Last Call model that Dodge put into the press fleet.
I agree that it’s a little bit too quiet, so I’m doing a mid muffler delete and adding vibrants, from the videos I’ve watched it sounds very close to stock but deeper and 25% louder, should make the car perfect.
Oh that will be amazing!
I'm picking this up this weekend. I got it for 10k off MSRP.
That's amazing, congratulations!
Thanks, really enjoyed your review. I think you guys are better than straight pipes. Keep it up.
How much??
A lot 😬
I ordered in the first wave of 23 Last Calls, and I'm glad I did. Their MSRP went up substantially throughout the year. I bought at 2022 MSRP.
Congrats on the Challenger! Very jealous 👌🏻
@@GCCarsCA Thanks. I had to get a widebody with the Tremec Magnum 6sp before they were gone for good. Such a fun car.
They basically copied the way throttle house does their videos but it works so okay

@@GCCarsCA hey what ever gets your videos out there I'm for it I hope your channel keeps growing
They are so cool but way overpriced bottom line. I probably would still buy one because it’s that cool😎👍
FJB, F the EPA.

Uhm... we loved the Challenger??? Have you watched our video?
It’s not engaging? Really? Your explanations are total s#@*!
No car is perfect, and you somehow managed to focus on the one negative thing we had to say about the Challenger instead of realizing that we spend the whole video praising it.
@@GCCarsCA so the negative stuck out. How it’s not engaging was a mistake to say. Cars engage in different ways. Say that next time.
