    Thanks a lot for this useful video that can absolutely help me to improve my English.
    Anyway, it reminds me to the phrase that bad students in my country usually say "The more lessons you study, the more you forget them". 😁
    O yeah, I'd like to say that it also reminds me to a quote that I've found this morning "The more you rely on others, the more likely you are to be disappointed by them". 😊

    When it comes to cocktails, the sweeter, the better it is

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  2 місяці тому

      The sentence "When it comes to cocktails, the sweeter, the better it is" is almost correct but slightly awkward. Here's a smoother and more natural version:
      Corrected sentence:
      "When it comes to cocktails, the sweeter, the better."
      Explanation:
      Omitting "it is": In this type of comparative structure, the phrase "the better" already implies "it is better," so adding "it is" is unnecessary and makes the sentence redundant.
      Example: The colder the weather, the cozier the blanket. (No need for "it is.")

    Should't we use warmer instead of hotter. When it comes to disribing weather.

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  3 місяці тому

      Both can be used for talking about the weather. Warm is only pleasant weather, like a day in spring. Hot is like a summer day.

      Hello! I've included examples with and without the verb "be" to show that both are acceptable. However, some might say that including the verb is more grammatically correct.

    • @ZaraPersik
