What were your sets of classes in High School. What APs have you taken. SAT and ACT scores, etc
Why choose Stanford University over MIT? Isn't MIT the best university and by far the best place to study engineering?
He already went to MIT for undergrad. He probably wants to spend time in Stanford and see what the West Coast offers in terms of opportunities. MIT and Stanford are pretty much comparable in most aspects anyways.

It is really hard to find about what you are passionate.
if i have a 3.5 unwgt and 4.1 weighted do i even stand a chance? i’m in the top 100 of my class and i was debate captain for two years / in other ecs like choir and theatre
of course you do. Just try very hard to write wonderful essays that show the core attributes that you think will make you stand out of the pool. You should consider participating in competitions for anything that YOU WANT to do. Then, you should try your best to win an award or two on them.

is having a YT channel about astronomy with 5000+ subs good as an extracurricular?
I normally don't dare about "MIT" or "Harvard" but due to indian parental pressure, i am expected to attend elite universities in the USA
You need to understand that not every student has the same EC even in the Harvard pool. They want a well rounded class, and more and more people have UA-cam channels nowadays, so you need something more unique. And even if you don't, focus on your essay. If your essay is REALLY good, you have a chance.
I think the unstated assumption here is that you need to be very bright to be accepted into these elite universities. You can study as hard as you like, but if you dont posess the mental furniture, you will not get the high grades needed to gsin admission.

I was wondering if you had any tips for students who are applying for competitive 4-year institutions as transfer students? I am a sophomore in community college, who is trying to apply for schools like UIUC, IIT, and MIT for engineering, but am not so sure about how to approach my application's essays or activities. What kinds of tone would you recommend? Bragging? Just simply stating? etc...

People say that being a Asian is bad for applying to college in top US universities is it true?
I think wherever you stand on the supreme court case, Asian applicants should still try their best to get into the college and should not be discouraged. I feel like the college's decision is out of our control. What is within the applicants choice is trying to make the best application possible :)

u just have to do well fro your exams and try to follow your passion then in your senior year apply into mit using the international students admission and yeah u have to send them your essays and stuff and you will get your results if you got into mid or not.
