Does this type of sign have a specific name? That may be a weird question but I am new to this and just built my first CNC. I would like to make signs like this but when I search for anything to do with acrylic signs I mainly get the flat edge-lit LED signs. I was just wondering if this is a specific type and where I can find more examples and tutorials.
In this case, I used the inventables logo instead of a font. To make your own sign, look for a font with joining characters. Script fonts work very well.
Thats a nice design, well done. I will make one on my laser cutter in 1/4 of the time haha. A couple of things that could improve it. If you paint the pocket matte white it will illuminate brighter. If you cut a layer of opal acrylic to go behind the lens, err I mean filter the leds will not be visible. I look forward to more vids.
