- This video shows how I made a wedding sign that was designed in vcarve and used my x-carve to cut it out. Links to the bits I used are below.

Awesome you did good sir
Nice work and good explaining
Thank you!
Looks great
Thanks!
I don't know how i ended up here but i'm enjoying myself nonetheless 😌
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Nice job! Looks great. What is your depth of cut for the text engraved with the 90 degree vbit?
.250 depth on the text
What makes you determine What type of wood do you use? What about Burch do you like? It seems to me to be a lot smoother.
Which bits did you end up using, I don't see a link to the bits.
Did you make that vacuum system yourself, if so can tips on it? It doesnt look like the one that Xcarve sells thats why i ask.
This is a suck it dust boot and I’m using a 2.5” shop vac hose.
When will you be reviewing the new xcarve pro $12,000 version?.
I do have a new machine that I will eventually make a video on but the only way I will be reviewing the xcarve pro is if Inventables sends me one for free.
@@UpstateCustomDecor ok..well the new xcarve pro is a great deal...is only $12,000 why dont you buy one and review it?
How do you set position so that after changing the bit it still works???
Setup a work zero location 👍🏽
Which version Of Vcarve Pro do you suggest?
I have 10.5 but if you are purchasing it now I believe you can only get the latest version.
Bravo! Two questions:
1. I didn’t see anything under the workpiece. How did you manage to cut through the piece without hitting the spoil board? Maybe I missed something.
2. Are you using a VCarve Pro widget to cut the keyhole, or did you make that toolpath yourself? I use VC Desktop - so no widgets for me! Thanks
Thanks! 1. When I cut through my pieces it does just barely hit the spoilboard. If you watch the video again when I start to clamp the part you will see marks in the spoilboard from previous projects. Once it gets too bad then I flatten the spoilboard with a 1” bit. I have some time lapse videos of this on my IG feed. 2. Yes, for the keyhole I used a widget. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
You can make your own keyhole path, two lines equal length tied at one end. Keep the lines really close together. .001” apart. Two lines makes it travel back to the beginning before lifting out of material.
Good tip! Thanks
Why plywood?
Very nice. The only thing i do diff is i use 1/8 bit for all cutouts...less strain on machine...i have a jcarve too...j is for junk lol...ha ha...it has many rigidity and design issues but if u csn tolerate them it can do ok results like any diy cnc can do. )....i reslly like the millright mega v xl...its same price but 10x better....its much better designed and more robust powerful and way faster .and bigger....it may be my next purch.
Dang man. I think I'm in the wrong business!!
It’s all about that hustle homie. Doesn’t matter what it is we just gotta keep grinding! 👊🏽
I sent you something in the USPS mail many months ago, never replied to me
