I have a question about media system from these 2 cars that Volkwagen Navigation from 4:32
was available for Skoda in that year?
I had the 2.0 Non-Turbo model of the Jetta (Bora in this video). It was the most reliable and long lasting car I’ve ever owned. It never let me down. They were well built and upscale when compared to their US competition. I have a MK5 GLI now and you can see VW put a lot of work in the design of this car. Too bad they didn’t on the MK6&7s.

Very sokda biased
The skoda 1.9tdi motor is the best motor in Europe, perhaps even the world. Why do you think that VW no longer allows the new Skoda's to have this motor? Because it was indestructible. The first gen Octavia's reach 350k Km easily when taken care of. I'd like to see any volkswagon reach that. The reason Skoda was so shitty before was because of the god damn communist regime that was in most of Europe. If you look at the engineering that was coming out of the CZ before WW2 it made all other motorcycle brands and cars brands look like shit. The Original Octavia, late 50's was a beautiful car compared to other brands. The boxer 4 engine was also invented in the CZ by Tatra, another company that got f'd by the communist regime. If events were different in central Europe I believe that Skoda would have been the power house brand that VW group is today, or at least a very successful car brand. Shame.
I know about few Octavias used as taxi that have over 500k and still running.
What kind of 1.9 ? 70,90,101,110,131?
COSMIN MONDIALU ZAHARIA the SDI ones that have no Turbo to go wrong its 50 KW I thhink then also the 70 KW are the best, the rest is not that reliable.
tomiduplex What are you talking about ? Skoda have never made any TDI motor, All TDIs motors are make in Germany.
Bob Flavin did test of a 2002 I believe it was a 1.9 tdi & that had done a 500,000 miles. Yep you guessed it, it used to be a taxi

The comparison makes no sense ! Skoda Octavia is a COMPACT class car ! Vw Bora is in the luxury middle class in the true sense of the word ! Skoda Octavia is in the Vw Golf class and NEVER with Bora ! Again I tell you that the comparison does NOT make sense ! ! !
