Whew- that’s a lot of miles and a lot of water! Lots of creek crossings, looks like you had to improvise quite a bit. Loved seeing the rocks formations and all the waterfalls! Happy Trails 👌🥾🥾
This is by far one of my favorite spots to hike and explore in AL! So many waterfalls in one area but the trails are not well marked so keep that in mind. Thanks for the support!!
This place is incredible! Glad you have had some time to hike in this area as it is hard to put into words how unique this place is. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the support my friend!
Fat man's squeeze was definitely a highlight. Almost got stuck because I left my pack on. Definitely worth checking this awesome place out! Thanks for watching and the comment my friend!
What an awesome day! All the waterfalls were beautiful including the rock ledges around them and where they flowed over the cliffs. Fat man's squeeze was neat with the waterfalls on the other side. Gonna have those falls now and then. Gotta keep moving! Excellent hike!
This place is truly unique in a lot of ways! Never seen so many waterfalls in one area like this. Fat Man's squeeze was a lot of fun to squeeze through and even ran into backpacker bob. Seems like I have been falling a lot more than usual. Getting injured is never fun. Thanks for the support my friend! PTL!
This was a lot of fun! It felt a little intense toward the end due to the 20 miler. Totally worth it as the temps were right, tons of waterfalls and the sun was out with no bugs! Hope you have fun out there!
The first two days were brutal! Can't wait to share those days on trail over the next couple weeks. All of these guys are great people and were a lot of fun to hike with!
You will have no issues with your level of trail running. In the rain, well that might slow you down. Make sure to hit up Crow when you go! Actually, Leonidas would be the trail monster to run with!
Anytime my friend! Thanks for joining us! This was an excellent adventure and recommend that any one who has a chance to visit should go. Never seen so many waterfalls in one area!
This was definitely the highlight of the ATC! The two days prior were brutal and this was a well welcomed change of pace. Hope you get a chance to explore this place one day! Thanks for the support as I bearly completed the ATC challenge
The back to back three days almost broke me! The first two days were downpour and that was a challenge in itself. The ATC is a SUPER challenge and it feels great to know I completed it without walking away. This was TOUGH! Thanks for the support my friend!
Haha i think in Crows video you're laying down next to a tree and I'm like... Metro On The Ground!! It's be right next to ya!! Actually, I'd be back up trail about 10 miles passed out under a different tree but still!! Good job pushing through the injuries!!
There's a fat man squeeze in Rock City! Only other one I've ever heard of lol With all the waterfalls that trail look really nice! Hope your knee is doing well I remember last year it was giving you some issues. Look like you guys had fun!
Almost had to take the pack off as I got stuck with the extra inches on my back. Awesome spot! Definitely would go back. Seems like I am falling and getting injured more and more. I rolled my ankle day 1 hiking 18+ miles. Then the next two days we hiked 36 more miiles...and I am still feeling it. With that being said, I definitely would do this hike again! Good times!
It was super tight in this area! Thanks for the positive feedback as this was one of my favorite hikes to date! Truly appreciate the support my friend!
Awesome Andy! Incredible footage of the trail! You have perfected an artist type talent with those shots. Wonderful editing. Well done. Thanks for being a part of the ATC!!! Crow✌️
Thank you Crow! We have been on a lot of adventures and this hike was incredible! So many awesome waterfalls and the weather was perfect for filming. Look forward to hiking with you again soon my friend! Thanks for inviting me to be an OG ATC member!
Leonidas, Crow and JBENHIKES are trail monsters! They eat miles on trail. I bearly made it as this was the longest mileage I've ever done in one day. This being day 3 of almost 60 miles back to back, I am still feeling it....but it was totally worth it! Looking forward to our next adventure my friend! To date, you are one of the coolest people I have met in the hiking community. You got one life...LIVE IT!
Agreed! We had a perfect day out there! Cold, Sunny, No Bugs, Good Times! The two days before were trying my will at times. Look forward to the next adventure! See ya soon my friend!
You got it my friend! Sometimes it is more fun to tell the story from the end and then work your way to the beginning. Over the three days and near 60 miles, the third section was by far the best day due to the weather and terrain. Day 1 and 2 were also great, but there was heavy downpour and the views were not the best. Still think the videos came out good though. Can't wait to release them over the next two weeks!
One of the best Backpacking trips I have ever been on! So many waterfalls and cool rock formations! Truly an EPIC place to explore! Thanks for watching and the support!
I hope that mileage was not all done in one day 😳 but the waterfalls looked awesome, despite getting wet feet. I totally get why they call it fat man squeeze and that would have me stuck in there for sure and some of the river crossing were a bit sketchy too. No fun when you have a fall and I bet it was nice to get back to the motors, cheers Alan
This was day 3 and we did 20 miles in one day. Total for the 3 days was between 56-60 miles and was a challenge to say the least. That squeeze was tight and I almost got stuck with the pack on. Just wait till you see dome of the crossing from day 1 when the flood gates opened up. Thanks for watching and the continued support!
Nice videography homie I’d love to checkout that spot looks beautiful. I was hiking around chewacala (sp?) with my girl yesterday, Alabama has got some gems. Appreciate the heads up on new spots to explore. Keep em coming dude
Thank you my friend! Really trying to up my game with video over the next year. Might start a new format as well but we will see. Alabama is surprising with the different terrain is is a lot harder than most would think to navigate and hike. Stay tuned for day 1 & 2 to be released over the next couple weeks. Thanks for the support!
I really like that song too! This place is incredible and really tested me at the 20 mile mark...after two days hike almost 40 miles in the rain before this hike...yikes!
Honest is the best policy. I try to keep my channel as raw and real as possible. Can't leave things out when telling the story of these hikes. Thanks for the ongoing support my friend!
Thank you my friend! Hope you have a great time out there! Totally worth it but the twenty miles gets tough around mile 15 or so from an endurance standpoint. Good times!
That was awesome Andy! So so beautiful, I have to get down there someday. It's everything I love. I hope you recovered...that sounds a little painful...but if it build you up after it broke you down, that' s all that matters!
You will LOVE IT! I actually got hurt on day 1 when I rolled my ankle out on the Chin Pin Sky Loop. It was total downpour and was super hard to hike in.The next two days, my ankle was hurting but didn't see the bruising until I got home. After the first two days, this place was a welcome change with the perfect weather and everyone was in good spirits too. Hope you get a chance to visit this place as I am positive you will have quite the adventure!
This was an incredible place to hike and pretty flat too! Some challenging areas when crossing the streams but all in all one of the best places to hike in AL for sure!
Thank you my friend! In 2022, I hope to get a full frame camera to really up my game with these landscape shot. However, not looking forward to the extra weight. Thanks for the support! Was awesome to finally get to hike with you!
Thank you my friend! I've learned so much from you and other hikers in the hiking community. I've also learned what not to do from myself...gotta watch your step! See ya in a couple weeks at the ATKO!
Sounded like a bit of a rough day, with the falls and getting wet early on 😬 Great scenery, though... Loved that opening shot looking up at the waterfall! And a visit from Backpacker Bob must've lifted the spirits!
This day was a breeze compared to the other days of the ATC. I released this video first because it had the most awesome landscape and the weather was perfect. The two days before were nothing but rain and provided some very difficult terrain to trek through. Backpacker Bob is awesome! You never know when he is gonna pop up!
Glad the rain relented for this portion of the hike. Beautiful skies and waterfalls. Fat man squeeze would give me a squeeze! 😂
What a beautiful falls
Whew- that’s a lot of miles and a lot of water! Lots of creek crossings, looks like you had to improvise quite a bit. Loved seeing the rocks formations and all the waterfalls! Happy Trails 👌🥾🥾
Really nice trail. With all the waterfalls and the rocks. Fatman squeeze, so much awesomeness.
This is by far one of my favorite spots to hike and explore in AL! So many waterfalls in one area but the trails are not well marked so keep that in mind. Thanks for the support!!
Great video thanks for sharing. I hike Sispsey alot. Love it there.
This place is incredible! Glad you have had some time to hike in this area as it is hard to put into words how unique this place is. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the support my friend!
looks like a great hike, love the water falls. -fat man squeeze looks cool to go through.
Fat man's squeeze was definitely a highlight. Almost got stuck because I left my pack on. Definitely worth checking this awesome place out! Thanks for watching and the comment my friend!
Awesome job Andy!!!
Learning a few filming tricks along the way. Hope to see you guys on Thursday!

Thank you and a big hello to you as well! Thanks for watching and the support!

This was a lot of fun! It felt a little intense toward the end due to the 20 miler. Totally worth it as the temps were right, tons of waterfalls and the sun was out with no bugs! Hope you have fun out there!
That’s a great video Andy. Watching everyone’s post on this trip. Pretty awesome time. 👍✌️
The first two days were brutal! Can't wait to share those days on trail over the next couple weeks. All of these guys are great people and were a lot of fun to hike with!
So dang pretty down there! Definitely going to have to hit up this area and take on the ATC!
You will have no issues with your level of trail running. In the rain, well that might slow you down. Make sure to hit up Crow when you go! Actually, Leonidas would be the trail monster to run with!
I love your headlamp
Just picked up the Nite Core Headlamp and an ultralight band from Hammock Lab! Can't wait to test this on trail!
I love that we always challenge you and you keep coming back for more!
Gotta learn from the best and I like hanging out with you guys...when I can catch up. See ya on the next adventure my friend!
Great video Metro! The Sipsey Wilderness is my most favorite place for a weekend adventure! Great job!
Thank you my friend! This was my first time to this area and I can't wait to go back. Truly a gem in AL! Thanks for watching and the support!
Awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thank you my friend! This place is incredible. Hope you get a chance to explore the Sipsey wilderness
I was there years ago. Beautiful area indeed.
Truly an incredible place to visit! The waterfalls just don't stop!!
What a beautiful hike! You all have some serious endurance to complete all three of these challenging hikes back to back. Great job! So impressive!
The back to back three days almost broke me! The first two days were downpour and that was a challenge in itself. The ATC is a SUPER challenge and it feels great to know I completed it without walking away. This was TOUGH! Thanks for the support my friend!

Hiking with Crow, Leonidas and JBEN is like trying to pace with marathon trail runners. I’m a party pacer and usually come in dead last at camp.
There's a fat man squeeze in Rock City! Only other one I've ever heard of lol

Truly EPIC spot to hike and explore!
What an obsolutly beautiful area. You captured it well. I probably would be screwed at the Fat man's squeeze. Getting old sucks!
Me too lol 😄

Great video! So are you showing us the end of the movie first? Lol. Awesome scenery! I know you said the weather was bad the first 2 days
