    Ive done that.
    It didnt taste any better nor ripen any faster than leaving it with its crown on amd upright.

    I actually put the 🍍 in a brown bag up side down. Leave it for few days and then enjoy

    Put the top in your garden and it’ll usually start growing depending on what area you are in. I’ve had great success with this. Even the tops of the pineapples where the leaves were removed.

    We usually do that but store it in a dark cupboard checking on it everyday until ripe.

    I never understood the consent of flipping it upside down! If the juices flow why would it not flow from the top to the bottoms when it’s upright and if it does then why flip it?

      Pineapples are stored and sold on their bases which causes all the juice to sink to the bottom. By flipping them upside down, you're allowing the juices to flow back into the top before serving.
