Hi… I have a question…while baking a cake we normally add baking powder and soda both? Why is it so? And even if we add both, do we need to add anything citric to activate soda or will the citric from baking powder help to activate the soda?

I added a tiny spoon of bakisg soda to my coffee and it tasted better and love the foam on top created by baking soda. It makes coffee to look and taste better.

Thank you for sharing. Now, my question to myself🤔😊 how come the recipe use baking powder more than the baking soda when they are used together. Through your explanation is great! Baking soda is more stronger than baking soda. Thank you so much! I learned from you. 😘🙏 God bless.
