I feel like this would be a great car for a high schooler who cares about the image of them and the car they drive, like me. I would SOOOOOO drive this!!
I had always dreamt about owning one since my money rented one back in 2008... I just bought a black 2006 convertible with a tan top, my husband and I are in love with it! 😍
nice car, nice vid. i own an '07 sle convertible black w/ black top rockin 20" chrome falken solaris rims, debadged, tinted and major stereo and my car turns more heads then any mercedes, vipers, suped up trucks and hotrods, or rice rockets around. im quite happy with my car. if i wanted a speed demon, or just a basic model i would have bought one. to each there own. i do agree with the one guy though. im 28 and probably 25 years younger than anyone else driving one of these, lol.
The tone is just like my '05 Avalon Limited, when you don't put the seat belt on, it beeps and then goes faster, then gives up after about the longest two minutes of your life. Nontheless a great car though, quieter than a breath, but the winter tires I have for this winter are pretty noisy and rough.
Hi, I have this car! Love it! Do you know how to turn off the maintenance light, it's annoying. I don't have any maintenance problems, it came on when I needed to get the oil changed.
Although the Solara may look a bit like the SC430 (especially from the back) they share nothing else in common. The Solara was a front wheel drive with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine, and the SC430 was a rear wheel drive with a V8. The only thing they had in common is that they were both built by the same parent company.
All of the convertibles are the 6 cylinder 3.3 litre engines. The Lexus sc430 uses the Camry Solara framework. 2008 was the final year they made the Camry Solara convertible
now thats a nice convertable, a very nice car to drive for the summer the car also matches ur iphone to eh? :p my friend drives, (not owns) but drives her parents toyota solara. its exactly the same car except hers is white. its a pretty attractive car.....shes pretty attractive too.....;)
kool, I havent seen one either, my cousin ended up taking it back before I got to see it, oh well. have u heard anything about toyota bringing the celica back?
I think i heard around somewhere they are removing this car from the lineup for the 2010 model year, to bad since this is one of the only toyotas i would buy.
@4freexboxlive Darn so much!!! I love toyota because they make prius and all other convertibles take too much gas. Toyota Convertible would of been my dream car. (Im 14 they wil probably come up with sm by then)
Fucking V6's. it's difficult to find this car in the 4 cylinder, But I shall! FUCK V6'S! I need max fuel economy. if you're gonna buy a V6 gas hog then why not just buy a full size sedan and get more room? the extra power seriously is not necessary.. people act like you NEED a V6 to simply pass someone on the highway, it's so dumb! you can pass another car on the highway with a damn tiny 4 cylinder even smaller then a 2.4 L. It's seriously not that hard. 157 HP/162 foot pounds of Torque is more then adequate for this car weighing only 3,175 pounds. it's not even heavy.
***** Who said they hated cars? I was saying if you want a gas hog V6 then buy a car thats actually sporty that Utilizes the power instead of a comfortable car that's designed for fuel efficiency by default... and Seriously I can STILL LIKE CARS and be on the fuel efficiency side instead of on the Car enthusiast side! there's 2 ends to the spectrum, don't be such a typical macho douchebag who's all about speed and horsepower and if you're a man that likes get value out of your money then "you don't like cars" -_- *shakes head at your stereotypical ass*

Lol that seat belt reminder chime will make me go crazy
Cuz the chime sounds like lexus
I literally look up every car on this page. Good work man
That turned out great! I've got an 08 Solara coupe and I really like it. the 3.3 V6 is very smooth
nice car, nice vid. i own an '07 sle convertible black w/ black top rockin 20" chrome falken solaris rims, debadged, tinted and major stereo and my car turns more heads then any mercedes, vipers, suped up trucks and hotrods, or rice rockets around. im quite happy with my car. if i wanted a speed demon, or just a basic model i would have bought one. to each there own. i do agree with the one guy though. im 28 and probably 25 years younger than anyone else driving one of these, lol.
Lmao I’m 19 and bought an 08 convertible sle
The seat belt blinking things is like a bomb

My friend has a solar a convertible it’s so fun to ride in
The coupe was discontinued after 08, but supposedly the convertible went on for 09, but I've never seen one.
Toyota really got EVERYTHING for EVERYONE... damn! Toyota rules :) Love my Yaris Hatch ^^!
I remember looking at these brand-new.
Damn, that looks good

So, what's your point now? Damn! All these people with opinions!!
All of the convertibles are the 6 cylinder 3.3 litre engines. The Lexus sc430 uses the Camry Solara framework. 2008 was the final year they made the Camry Solara convertible
The Solara did NOT use any parts from the SC430. Different drive wheels, different wheelbase, Solara was almost 2 feet longer.
the 2004-2009 Toyota Solara was assembled in
Georgetown, Kentucky, United States
the transmission of the 2004-2009 Toyota Camry Solara was
Transmission
4-speed automatic
5-speed automatic
5-speed manual
Lol when you opened the hood @ 4:37 it sounded like a gun shot

Oh so you were a car detailer before you started reviewing cars?
GT6SuzukaTimeTrials No he worked at his fathers dealership and helped out by deatailing the cars.
I don’t hear him doing any reviewing in this clip.
agreed Black cars always look the best when they are clean :D very nice car but the coupes are always cooler, with a couple exceptions
kool, I havent seen one either, my cousin ended up taking it back before I got to see it, oh well. have u heard anything about toyota bringing the celica back?
Hmm, you may have a point. The Toyota website lists 2008's as the newest.
Can you drive it in the winter?
I have a question, I know toyota makes convertibles but how come they arent on the website?
its not the point of laziness it for the point of safety, with audio controls on the steering wheel you don't take your eyes off the road.
My aunt hav one 06 silver. Pretty nice car
How come you didnt show the top down?!!
I like thes car! Thank for you!
@lexusES350h The Solara was not affected by the recall
I need the same navigation system cause mine is not working anymore so if you have one for sale
Let me know thx
I actually heard that Toyota is going to have a rear wheel drive coupe out in a few years and it's supposedly based on a Subaru?
The Toyota 86 finally came out in 2018. Only took 9 years. 😂

I never drove anything like that!
I think i heard around somewhere they are removing this car from the lineup for the 2010 model year, to bad since this is one of the only toyotas i would buy.

+nukka200 You hate cars, we get it, others like cars and might like a bigger engine... especially in a somewhat sporty car.
buddy, the convertible only came with the 3.3l v6....calm down.
