Just grabbed one for my self the day after father's day and I'm throwing right into hell like work. Lol. Loving this little beast
I've been using this tool for a few weeks. really like it. One thing i have to get used to is the on off switch is so far back. I'm so used to having the switch up towards the blade
Definitely would help me fix my hacky projects when I screw up my cuts.
Awesome review, and love the humour with the “neighbor”. I have the original multi tool from Rockwell, but it’s such a pain to change out the blades, and it’s corded. Since I already use other Milwaukee tool, and your excellent review, I’m sold on the M12. Cheers from Ottawa
Thanks for the comment and feedback Gerry!!!!!!!
Great review and fun video. Thanks for posting
I'm not a big fan of Milwaukee but I do love there M12 tools thanks for info brother
Random thought as I'm watching video: that latch is going to be a SOB to open with gloved hands. It also looks like a magnet for drywall, insulation, dust and debris
Good observation
I agree
Great video Clint @ToolReviewZone
Wow as a Milwaukee buyer I'm still sold on the dewalt oscilator because of the instant blade change they offer. Milwaukee hasnt even noticed other oscilators have perfected the blade change and adjustment speed change. I'll wait for the gen 3
Of course Milwaukee has noticed.
Take note of two things:
1. Looking around, most manufacturers use a blade change system similar to Milwaukee’s.
2. The only tools that have the instant change system are from Stanley Black & Decker (DeWalt, Craftsman, Black & Decker, Porter-Cable), so it’s likely SB&D has a patent on that particular system.
@@Ronofthedead07 fein also has that quick starlock that is faster than dewalt. It should really be a standard for all oscilators at this point.
Philip Dove that is true. I heartily agree with you. That was just my best guess as to why, to be honest.
@@philipdove1705 I have the m12 and the fein..fein blows the m12 away
Good video lucky you got good neighbors if that was to happen to me I wouldn't get it back it's happened so that's how I know for sure
Once again Vance catches all the breaks CUZBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least you got that sweet sweet m12 oscillating tool…..BTW why the holes in the sanding pad??? For the on board dust collection????? 🤣
Hahahahahaha 👊🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have the brushed model hate the screw for the brushed m12 I find myself using the dewalt Xr with the 3 speed selector the most @ToolReviewZone
Don't tell UA-cam, but I thumbs upped the video while the ads were still playing since I knew I'd like this video anyway
Hahaha, I won't say a word James lol. Thanks brother 👊
Clint you rock brother. Mine just came in yesterday. How does the vibration and noise level compare to the Dewalt XR? I don't mind the blade change the only true thing I like about the XR is the feel in hand as far as the grip. Keep UP the great work on the channel.
Whats up brother. I think the vibration is a bit more on the Dewalt.
Surprised you and Randy didn't knock back a few DEWGARITAS!!
We both love Dewgaritas, but we will surely celebrate when we have the VCG take down Video up
Very nice video Thanks
Thanks Alain!
You tested both the M18 & the M12 and honestly I can't tell the deference in performance but the M12 kind of looks like it's more comfortable to use.
If money isnt an issue is the M18 really any better overall?
The M18 kind of seems the same just bulkier and with a more awkward battery position to hold on to if that's how you want to hold the tool.
But again even without that, is the M18 really any faster at cutting but any noticeable degree?
Looks just like my Skil pwrcor 12v version...real nice like....
So far the video I've seen everything that people have been talkin about has been true about this oscillator that I don't even think Milwaukee needs to come out with an M18 version when the M12 has plenty of power it's great
It's a great tool brother
Been needing to replace my old Matrix tool..this will be awesome I think compared to that junk
I wonder why Milwaukee didn’t go with starlock blade change. I think that would have been awesome to see.
At least they included the 4.0 and not the 2.0, now that’s real nasss like 👍🏽
🤔👀👍🏽
Go Clint!
How'd I miss this one 😅
I prefer the M12 to the M18.
They are the same tool in size & performance!
Only difference is the M18 would be heavier & bigger due to the battery.
The biggest issue is the Auto feature on the M18. Over time it starts malfunctioning.
I sold my M18 and got the M12 and have been very happy with it! 👍
I know this is not a fair comparison , but how does this compare to the older 18v brushed unit ? Inquiring minds want to know....great vid brother. Keep em coming.
Was watching a video of the M12 vs M18 and the M12 seemed to be a bit faster. Of course the power and run time wouldn't be there. Any input??
I like the bag. Does the DeWalt fit in it?
So the more I use mine the more I wish the blade change worked like the Ryobi or DeWalt ones do.
I had 2 of the older generations both shit the bed , my boss burned one up in a month too . So I’m hoping these newer designs hold up was about to purchase this with 2 6 amps for $200
Smeeeeshed!👍👍👍👍
Thanks Alan!!!!!!
Randy was an extra on 'The Ringer'
Lol at the intro and randy
Haha, Randy is the man bro
👍When are you going to review those new OSHA approved see-thru work boots you're sporting at 1:15?
Hey try the Skil you may be surprised...
You're crazy but I love your channel!!! 👍👍
Haha, thanks JR
Turn it up to 12 and rock out with that multi tool🤟 ole Randy bo bandy with the Mtn Dew hookup! Who woulda known. 99% of people dont know
Hahaha, it looks as if I was part of the 99% bro😥
Lol. “Can’t get nothing done” sitting in a chair waiting for a package. Classic.
That it's available at homedepot or on-line
Why do you think they put holes in the sanding pads since they don’t have dust extraction. Just less surface area to sand
Thats a great question and I was actually thinking about this when making the video. They have an m18 version coming which I believe has the dust extractor, plus I think they are trying to sell these for use on other units. Just my two cents though
Less clogging maybe
Wood screw is hardened How look teeh after cutting?.
I wonder how this compares to the DCS355. The DeWalt gets the job done but the vibration drives me nuts. Leaning towards the M12 as it looks smaller and is much cheaper than the M18 without giving up much in performance.
And yes, I know DeWalt's blade change is easier to use lol
I may just need to do a tool duel!!!
9:20 I wonder if I can use this on my face to get rid of acne scars.
Omg that tools is so sexy looks a ton nicer then the brushed m12 model i have @ToolReviewZone
The new M12 Fuel is a lot more powerful than the old M12 brushed model.
What is the name of the work table your using?
Workpro. I have a video on it called the best workbench every
Hi TRZ,
This is not a bad milwaukee m12 oscillating tool. It looks like it will take time to get use to that change blade system. I hear it has less vibration so that's good.
I still have to say that DeWalt has the Best handle and quick blade change system on the market.
Thanks for this video
The Dewalt is definitely tough to beat. The one advantage to thisbis how narrow it is.
When can we pick it up in stores?
Now. I put a link in the description
@@ToolReviewZone any word on the m18 version? And thanks ill check it out
Should be out as well bro. If not, it will be November
Definitely looks bloody good but my general advice is only buy cordless tools if you’re in the trade
if you are a DIY homegamer you are way better off with corded power tools
they last a lot longer they will go all day the battery packs never go out of date and for the small hassle of running a cord you will get good value
but if you’re in the trade and you’re using them every day then yes that’s a different story
Tradies are in an out of the Ute every hour they turn up to jobs where they might not even have a power supply yet if it’s a new house or doing maintenance with no external PowerPoint the owners not home definitely cordless is okay for tradies
Totally agree.
I was about to get into this cordless tools collections but stopped the moment I had issues with the m12 cut off tool. Definitely corded for the wood cutting tools.
His blade is ruined after the second cut but props to the effort
No doubt dewalts blade change is better, but really how much longer does it take... Ohh wait 30 seconds... Nah... Still not going back to dewalt.. Way to many battery issues in the past and burnt up drills.. I'll take this and the extra 30 seconds.
Thanks for the feedback reddawg!
More like 8-10 seconds for a blade change.
The blade change is fantastic on the m12
Very Expensive way to remove nail and screw heads. Lasts only a few nails or so. I’ve resolved to using a grinder and cutting wheel, till something better comes along.
Only Makita 👍, Man Caver Tools number 👍
Sorry Milwaukee. You lost me at “you have to loosen up the bolt.” This is a fail. I have Dewalt’s and they knocked it out of the park.
I have dewalt Works great
Yup,I have the DeWalt it's way better in every way.
The mechanism is extremely well built and easy to use.
👍👍
Which oscillating tool would you recommend with all the current Home Depot deals? It’s time for me to put down the hackzall and get one.
The Milwaukee is nice, but I still really like the Dewalt
I could use that bag you want to sell me the bag Clint @ToolReviewZone
🍻🍺👍🌭👌
Did you notice how the teeth got damaged right away once you cut through metal? These things ain’t made for metal 😂😂😂
total garbage..worst tool buy I've gotten..the batteries won't power me through the wood I was cutting..also I bought the Milwaukee impact drill and the hammer/drill/screw gun combo. realized that the pic showing the Milwaukee hammer drill without the hanging hook is not a mistake. it does NOT come with the hanging hook..smh..what is Milwaukee doing? they are already the most expensive and now they are cheap on top of it?
