Why r people so freakin obsessed with hijabis hair? Sis there's plenty of non hijabis and non Muslims with 3c-4a hair that can give you demonstrations. You don't have to believe her when she says her hair is healthy and has grown alot with these products. That's ur business. However black hijabis like myself have very specific hair needs and even just hearing abt the products someone uses and tips and tricks are helpful. Also alot of people can make their hair look healthy but meanwhile they have heat damage and split ends. So seeing the hair isn't a necessity

I just wash my hair with water and then apply conditioner to re-moisturize it and follow up with the styling products I mentioned! Of course it all depends on your lifestyle though :)

Yup, there are some female salons here in Toronto! Otherwise people here generally know that hijabis will only show their hair in front of women so they will put a barrier up if men enter the salon!
Love love love that you address this because so many people think that Hijabis have hair that isn’t worth looking after since it’s not out! Disclaimer, we only cover hair in front of men NOT women and that excludes first line blood relatives that you can’t marry eg brother! Lol
Marie it’s recommended to only cover the hair and cover your body up to the wrist and ankles. However just like Christianity has evolved from women covering their hairs and wearing long dresses, Muslim girls tend to have their own interpretation some cover their faces some wear turbans and others don’t wear it at all but mostly girls would cover only their hair not the face. 🙏🏼💕

i have coarse/long/thick/dense 3c-4b hair and i really enjoy the hello hydration conditioner (or any really slipper conditioner) with the Aveda Wooden Paddle Brush. I take it in the shower...I also use it to blow dry my hair. I cannot use the deman and wide tooth combs make me loose too much hair. They are $25 off amazon.

Nope, definitely not 2c/3b! My hair is more course and the curls are a lot more tight ☺️ Think like Yara shahidi’s hair but slightly more course!

Yup, there are some female salons here in Toronto! Otherwise people here generally know that hijabis will only show their hair in front of women so they will put a barrier up if men enter the salon!
Love love love that you address this because so many people think that Hijabis have hair that isn’t worth looking after since it’s not out! Disclaimer, we only cover hair in front of men NOT women and that excludes first line blood relatives that you can’t marry eg brother! Lol

Marie it’s recommended to only cover the hair and cover your body up to the wrist and ankles. However just like Christianity has evolved from women covering their hairs and wearing long dresses, Muslim girls tend to have their own interpretation some cover their faces some wear turbans and others don’t wear it at all but mostly girls would cover only their hair not the face. 🙏🏼💕

What a great video did! I’m so glad you’re talking about hijabi hair care. I’m not a hijabi but I know what you said is the truth: people assume since it can’t be seen, it’s not worth talking about. And I know from experience also when you cover it up all the time there’s a laziness that may come with because you also feel like ain’t nobody seeing it so why bother? Lol. Yup! It got longer and much more full. I use to have the thinnest pony tail width when my hair was straightened and now it’s much thicker.

i have coarse/long/thick/dense 3c-4b hair and i really enjoy the hello hydration conditioner (or any really slipper conditioner) with the Aveda Wooden Paddle Brush. I take it in the shower...I also use it to blow dry my hair. I cannot use the deman and wide tooth combs make me loose too much hair. They are $25 off amazon.

Awesome, Vid!!!! I have an important question though, do you have the issue of oil stains on your hijab? I wear underscarves but do still find that if I use certain products that my hair loves, I still get those stains, which I hate 😒 any tips?
