    To my black hijabis!!!!! Wear either a durag, silk scarf or a softer material hijab to protect your hair from friction and breakage! Keep it moisturized, don't make ur buns or braids too tight. Add oil to ur hair after u moisturize to seal in the moisturizer and pay attention to ur ends because they are the oldest part of ur hair. Your welcome❤✊🏾

  • @SincerelyTahiry

    Why r people so freakin obsessed with hijabis hair? Sis there's plenty of non hijabis and non Muslims with 3c-4a hair that can give you demonstrations. You don't have to believe her when she says her hair is healthy and has grown alot with these products. That's ur business. However black hijabis like myself have very specific hair needs and even just hearing abt the products someone uses and tips and tricks are helpful. Also alot of people can make their hair look healthy but meanwhile they have heat damage and split ends. So seeing the hair isn't a necessity

      Then why do a video trying to speak on products that you can’t show? Everything else she speaks on or is sponsored by, she is using, to SHOW its usage! What is there for me to see and examine? To look at and judge by? No I think this is just a subject she could pass right on up.

      @@rondalomax1257Maybe for fellow hijabis like me who know the struggle of wearing one in public for long lengths of time and trying to maintain healthy hair. Or maybe for every other person with the same hair type???? I find it useful to see what other people like and use so I can build and customise products to suit me that I may not know about.... common sense really lol... she gave a detailed explanation to make up for the fact you couldn't see her hair... google image some hair if you cannot imagine it? Roo90 I can appreciate your comments. I have family members who wear them, for the same reason she does. I also do their hair. This is CLICKBAIT plain and simple.I am disappointed that she stooped to that. Her thumbnail leads you to believe that she will be revealing her hair, when she knows she won’t! I usually recommend her to a lot of people. Sure it will not matter one way or another, but Zi don’t like, what feels like misrepresentation. I don’t have any have to look up 4A hair to 4C.

    You mentioned getting your hair cut at at salon. Are there salons that cater to the unique requirements of women who wear hijabs?

    • @AyshaHarun
      @AyshaHarun  5 років тому +2

      Yup, there are some female salons here in Toronto! Otherwise people here generally know that hijabis will only show their hair in front of women so they will put a barrier up if men enter the salon!

    Love love love that you address this because so many people think that Hijabis have hair that isn’t worth looking after since it’s not out! Disclaimer, we only cover hair in front of men NOT women and that excludes first line blood relatives that you can’t marry eg brother! Lol

      Just curious why do you cover the hair and not the face too? No hate just really curious

    • @somethingtosay1126
      @somethingtosay1126 5 років тому +3

      Marie it’s recommended to only cover the hair and cover your body up to the wrist and ankles. However just like Christianity has evolved from women covering their hairs and wearing long dresses, Muslim girls tend to have their own interpretation some cover their faces some wear turbans and others don’t wear it at all but mostly girls would cover only their hair not the face. 🙏🏼💕

    What a great video did! I’m so glad you’re talking about hijabi hair care. I’m not a hijabi but I know what you said is the truth: people assume since it can’t be seen, it’s not worth talking about. And I know from experience also when you cover it up all the time there’s a laziness that may come with because you also feel like ain’t nobody seeing it so why bother? Lol. I had no idea Pantene had some new new. Have to check them out!

    Hey Aysha! When you use the sugar bear hair did your hair maintain its thickness? I’ve tried biotin before and my hair was longer but still very thin

    • @AyshaHarun
      @AyshaHarun  5 років тому +2

      Yup! It got longer and much more full. I use to have the thinnest pony tail width when my hair was straightened and now it’s much thicker.

    i have coarse/long/thick/dense 3c-4b hair and i really enjoy the hello hydration conditioner (or any really slipper conditioner) with the Aveda Wooden Paddle Brush. I take it in the shower...I also use it to blow dry my hair. I cannot use the deman and wide tooth combs make me loose too much hair. They are $25 off amazon.

    Awesome, Vid!!!! I have an important question though, do you have the issue of oil stains on your hijab? I wear underscarves but do still find that if I use certain products that my hair loves, I still get those stains, which I hate 😒 any tips?
