    Ok girls. Few of you are asking how I braid my hair and not have it bumpy so here is how I do it: (I had braids in my hair as I was filming this video, notice how it's not bumpy.)
    I blow dry with a wide tooth comb on the cool setting of my hair dryer (this is the only reason why own a hairdryer lol) doing this makes the hair lighter and helps the braids lay flatter.
    Then I split my hair into small sections for the braids so the braids end up small. If you split your hair into bigger pieces, you will have bigger braids that WILL be bumpy! I have a small head so I end up with about 9/10 cornrows. I don't do single plats. Single plats will give bumps all around and that is not, a cute look!
    I hope that helps girls.

I'd only like to say that when reffering to European/white never say Caucasian since unlike the popular online oppinion these terms are completely different since Caucasian reffers to people of the Caucasus for example Chechen, Ingush, People of Dagestan etc

    I really needed to see this, my hair is always dry and gets tangled up then I’m always busy so I neglect it and before I know it I can’t even get a comb through it. What sort of braids do u do? Cornrows or single platts ? as sometimes you can see bumps from the braids under hijab

    • @NafisasPearlz
      @NafisasPearlz  6 років тому +4

      I do cornrows, the thing with the cornrows is that you have to make them small, I had cornrows when I was filming this video and you can barely tell. Make them small then after you have finished braiding all of the hair to the tip; braid all the ends into one single braid if you can and use a hair band to create a small bun. That will really reduce friction and breakage insha'Allah.

    • @NafisasPearlz
      @NafisasPearlz  6 років тому +3

      Also, try the 'Mane n Tail Detangler', that thing works amazing for detangling hair, I often spray it onto my braids before loosening my brads and it helps me have less breakage.

The advice I am so glad you gave is the one with taking ghusl with braids ! definitely a tip I will use for the future ! I guess I will still use shampoo once a week then wash my hair with the braids for the rest of the week. Thank you so much :)

    Omg! I love your videos.
    I would love to wear hijab but I’m not ready yet 🥺
    It’s such a struggle to have long natural curly hair 😭😫
    For example if i want to straighten my hair, i wait to be in my period.
    I’m not maried but I Love doing ghusl, I do it really often and after a ghusl I look like a sheep.
    It’s hard to look cute everyday without effort and I m getting maried soon: i want that whenever my husband look at me he feel happy 😊
    The easiest haircut for me is twist my hair, if u wear hijab try do it too, your hair won’t be bumpy, you juste have to tie it in a low bun.
    U can also do a sleek bun, i don’t use gel just a deep conditionner...
    Those haircut are easy to do, and when you take of your hijab, you look attractive for your husband...
    Cornrows are nice too, but if you are like me, go to see a professional.
    I know some women whenever they take of their hijab, I just want to shave them, it’s look terrible
    Sorry for my English, I m a francophone😅

    Salam anleykoum, great video ma shaa Allah. JazzakAllahou khayran💎. My only concern though is that yes braids r a great hairstyle for length and moisture retention but would u be able to still rock them 80% of the time after u get married? I mean they r not the cutest hairstyle to wear. How can I manage looking great and still maintaing healthy tangle free hair?

    • @NafisasPearlz
      @NafisasPearlz  6 років тому +3

      You can rock cute hairstyles, but maybe 50% of the time and the other 50% in protective styles. Most of my married friends say the end up rocking braids despite how 'not so cute it might be because it' convenient especially for those that have kids, work etc, they don't have much time to dedicate to an intense weekly haircare routine which is what you may have to do to keep up the health of your hair if you are not going to keep up with a low manipulative regime.

      mxxx96 - Sister this life is a test for us and we all will have our trials. Remember that Allah (swt) will not test us with anything we can’t bear. When you feel depressed read and/ or listen to Quran. It is sure to lift your spirits and help you. I’ve done a lot of different things with my hair over the years. It will bounce back. I’d start by cutting the dead ends only and using Nifisa’s system in this video. I’m gonna give it a try myself. It sounds awesome. I will keep you in my du’as. Remember Allah says after the trial comes ease and be not sad because surely He is with us. 😊

    Nafisa pliz help dear is right for a Muslim child to go to a missionary school like Catholics as you know Catholics HV strict rules as in they aren't allowed to wear hijab and they are supposed to do CRE(CHRISTIAN RELIGION).

    • @Nico.Robin7
      @Nico.Robin7 6 років тому

      Really? My friend went to a Catholic school and they allowed her to wear her hijabs. Acc a lot of Muslims used to go to that school and most used to wear their hijabs evethough it was a girl school

      Your hair is always growing is just that we are not keeping the hair length because it is often breaking off due to poor hair practices. As for product, there are so many out there it's just a case of trial and error until you find what your hair loves most.
