absolutely stunning! its amazing the grip these cars had and with this much power at the wheels makes for an amazing show! its crazy that with all those driver aids micheal still found a way to push the car to its very limit and had correct the exit of that last chicane! brilliant drive from him with what is still to this very day, the quickest race car ever created.
Well im in the smallest of minorities here but i really don't like the V10 or V8 sounds honestly. I'm a sucker for the turbo whine and the V6s deliver exceptionally well on that front.
@@kronos711 There is no problem with liking the v6 turbos. The only reason people complain about v6 turbos is because the are quieter and max rpm is 15,000 instead of max 19,000 on v10s and v8 engines
Almost 1.000 hp in qualifiyng (940 official hp by wikipedia). Well, some body of your have the minimum idea about what signified that?. The 80's turbo had 1.200 hp on saturday true, but a very low down force. Only the torque was amazing, for the rest the 2004 F1 would given 6-7 or more seconds on one lap, at they cars. Over 5 g force in break, and almost 5 in the corners. Guys, this numbers are for super humans, thrust me. About Michael drive what says...?: superb!. He drive in a very personal way: sit so low, for searching the break points, rise up always the head. And nobody else moved the head like he, against the lateral g force. Or go down with the tronc in the breaks.. The fast and best ever without any dub.
Hi 765media, your comment is a little confusing. Schumacher was certainly known for massive corner entry speed, but he almost never apexes early or gets on throttle late out of corners. He takes in massive corner entry speed and is known for getting on the throttle very early, sliding the car through and out of the corner. He is better than most if not all at this. This track is different from others because of the bumps in the road and camber, hence the seemingly unusual line.
Sorry for the multiple replies, but I just want to clarify. MS brings the car in very early, but you can see even in this lap here that he does indeed apex early; for one example, see the last corner.
F1-2005 was only five tenths of seconds fastest of compared to F1-2004 (read in an article at these times, during pre-season 2005 tests). The main problem was from the Bridgestone tyres, less competitive than Michelin.
@Lawrence1518 yeah you're absolutely right - a year ago I hoped I would be mistaken but it seems to me that schumi has passed his prime and so what? he's already 42! years old - nigel mansell wasn't able to sit down in a f1 car one year after he retired. @veyronzondaf well tc etc were banned when schumi began his career in f1 and it was williams with the many technical helps at their car . well another apect is the actually tyre-generation, both massa and msc suffered from them
@veyronzondaf The electronic differential is on F1 yet, ABS is forbidden in F1. It's just the V10 who seperates kids of men. For those who really know. faerrari's superior electrronics made him that fast! Just look now. Same car as Nico 2010 and 2011. Nico has outperformed MS. He was the king of Traction control, e_Diff & abs. They are all gone since 2008!
The ABS is gone since 1994 and don't forget that when msc came back he didn't race for 3 years, was Past his prime and he suffered and accident were he broke his necks
Immense power to weight ratio. F2004 was a beast!!
Schumi is so fast, when he is driving, it looks like someone pressed the "fast forward" button. :)

well maybe the rb6, and w11
100% perfection, that's my target, i can't accept anything under it.

that cars on the very limit

At 00:53 he made an adjustment to something while changing up gears, the mindset of f1 drivers are absolutely insane.

My apologies; I meant to say "even in this lap here that he does indeed apex late," not early! In the last corner he apexes quite late.

ahhhh the sound of a ferrari v10
