That first one is especially sad, cuz that boy is from the family that Micah killed in the mission where Arthur rescues him from the Strawberry Jail. Hence why the boy is saying the dog is all he has.😣
@@CDG-PRODUCTIONS definitely makes it hit way different when you know that. As the owner of a dog and a dog lover, it’s one of the most heartbreaking things in the game to me.
Arthur may have done terrible things, but deep down, the character of Arthur Morgan had the potential to be the best man the 19th century could offer, and his redemption (high honor) truly shows this. His story is a master class in writing.
I think for all their faults, John and Abigail did love each other, and they did try their absolute best given their circumstances. I like that the Red Dead Redemption series doesn’t romanticize the Old West as a time of heroes and legends; instead depicting it as a harsh era that real people lived through. It definitely humanizes the time period a lot.
@@fredericksmith7942 It also doesn't overly color it with violence and death, and all the other gruesome things humanity could think of. People in Red Dead can be kind as much as they can be a terrifying monster. It's just so real.
12:43 I believe this is a reference to agent Ross and the fbi coming for him in 1911. Ya know that jus makes me think now I don’t get it why couldn’t John have a better death jus like Arthur it’s like they f**ked him over with that one. Then again I guess they weren’t really early planners but still they didn’t have to do him like that.
@@CDG-PRODUCTIONS ya there’s a lot of references in RDR2 it’s so detailed that these references even go back to the first game. You ever play the first game btw?

This is a far more enjoyable take on John and Abigail’s relationship.
