The last real strand of Dutch and Arthur as they were before was "Are you feeling alright, Arthur?" (12:09) Everything went right to hell after that between them.
When Dutch agrees with Micah to not go after Abigail and help her and Arthur is trying to convince him is so upsetting. The way Arthur says "Dutch!" is so desperate.
That’s when he finally lost faith in Dutch, but he still had that tiny shred of love convince him to try and save Dutch by revealing Micah’s treachery. Even in the end as he dies he still tries to reason with Dutch and remind him how he gave his entire life for him.
5:35 Low honor. High honour is "what about the women?" 13:56 that's also low honor High honour says "I'm worried about folk" 4:34 High honour says "are you going to strangle me next"
I remember my first singleplayer run, the last chapter was very intense and stressful, I love how you just don't know as much as arthur if you should consider yourself betrayed or if you're seen as the betraying one. Micah and Dutch hiding more then discussion, people of the camp siding or not with you Being in the camp in the dark scenery of Roanoke Ridge got me full paranoïd, this chapter was just perfectly putted on by R*.
4:34 Does this like change depending on your honor? Because I had high honor and Arthur said, “are you gonna strangle me next?” Instead of saying something about them being rotten
There are small bits of dialog changes depending on honor, especially in the later chapters. The ones that stick out are Arthur talking with John on the train tracks and Sadie talking to Arthur after they kill the rest of the O'Driscolls.
It's sad that Arthur admired Dutch and saw him as an older brother. Arthur put all his trust in Dutch and in the end Arthur realized who he looked up to wasn't who he thought he was.
I can’t believe how good a manipulator Micah is. Dutch didn’t seem to think for a second that Arthur was onto something!! Makes me wanna play this game again, such a crazy story
12:12 It blow my mind how Dutch just refused to accept something so extremely obvious from Arthur. At this point of the story, like, yeah how could Dutch not realize that they are, indeed, not good at pulling off big scores anymore. They're in a clear position of weakness, their last plans have all backfired horribly. Its time to just slink away like a wounded animal.
Dutch at the end of the game looks absolutely terrifying like the goodness in him is gone he has no more patience and keeps getting more paranoid and making up his own scenarios in his head and seeing Arthur doubt him and knowing he is dying to made him lose it even more
Why is Micah wearing a white hat and Arthur a dark hat? In many westerns, the man with the white hat is the hero, while the man with the darker hat is the bad guy.
it’s probably a bit of irony on rockstars part or they just didn’t think much of it. but if you wanna look deeper into it it could symbolize how for pretty much all of chapter 6 dutch treats micah like his right hand man/the good guy and arthur like a traitor, when it’s really the other way around.
18:04 The moment it dropped on Dutch the fact he had no control over Arthur no more. He was insisting on decisions for the gang instead of suggesting, or just blindly following Dutch's orders.

You know the scenes where Micah and Arthur arguing over each of Dutch's shoulders reminds me of the Angel and the Devil.

Perfect delivery. What a great voice actor.
John... insist...
He insists....
Yes i insist

13:58, kind of wish they army didn’t cut off the argument, Arthur maybe could’ve had a chance to change Dutch
3:08 “Ladies and gentlemen this is a robbery!” Loved that line
Me too
MEEE THERRREEEE
The last real strand of Dutch and Arthur as they were before was "Are you feeling alright, Arthur?" (12:09) Everything went right to hell after that between them.
Nah their relationship was pretty much broken by this point, it broke further when he abandoned Arthur, John and Abigail.
I hear Tahiti is a magical place.
I understood that reference
Coulson did before Dutch haha
Who told you that?
It's a magical........place.......
Tahiti has cannibals.. I bet becoming a meal sounds magical
There is no boring rdr2 video.

High honour is "what about the women?"
13:56 that's also low honor
High honour says "I'm worried about folk"
4:34 High honour says "are you going to strangle me next"
The irony of Micah saying “I want to live” despite almost every action being suicidal like shooting up a whole town twice
The look on Arthur's face @ 19:41 nearly broke my heart
Javiar Doesn't aim at anyone in the final scene because he wants them to all be together, he truly saw everyone as his family
Then you clearly dont understand his character. He also called charles a rat.
Dude did aim at John btw
I remember my first singleplayer run, the last chapter was very intense and stressful, I love how you just don't know as much as arthur if you should consider yourself betrayed or if you're seen as the betraying one.
Micah and Dutch hiding more then discussion, people of the camp siding or not with you
Being in the camp in the dark scenery of Roanoke Ridge got me full paranoïd, this chapter was just perfectly putted on by R*.
Damn, Dutch freefalling into insanity is hurting. Seeing someone you know and love fall into the heart of darkness is just... I dont know.
There was talk of hanging me.
They was talking, THEY WAS TALKING
I wheezed
This is why nobody should post comments acting as a character cause they're gonna change it later on and it won't make sense
I meaaaaan, I didn’t wanna be John forever lol.
What I dont understand is why Dutch is mad at JOHN for being back. What was he supposed to do? Say no to them rescuing him?
Yeah remember that time, when Arthur says "I insist" once and Dutch responds with "Tahiti"? Man that sure was a memorable conversation
I love how even when Micah goes for his gun first to surprise Arthur, Arthur is still the faster draw
4:34
Does this like change depending on your honor? Because I had high honor and Arthur said, “are you gonna strangle me next?” Instead of saying something about them being rotten
Yep, exactly
There are small bits of dialog changes depending on honor, especially in the later chapters. The ones that stick out are Arthur talking with John on the train tracks and Sadie talking to Arthur after they kill the rest of the O'Driscolls.
@@unc54 also at 13:56 he says "I'm worried bout folk" instead of this iirc
18:00 I just realised Dutch says "I will see too it" he's referring to later on when John gets shot and dutch leaves him
Dutch: we will survive
*Arthur, Lenny, Hosea, Kieran, Sean died*
Davey, John and Dutch himself
Javier, bill, mac, jenny, karen, and abigail also

at 21:22 you can see in Dutch's eyes that he knew everything he had worked for was just swept out from under him

“Are you feeling alright arthur?”
No dutch. Do i look alright? Im literally dying in case you havent noticed.
Arthur got so shook when it came to jack and that just makes me love/respect him more
"Ain't Nobody gonna die!" - Dutch
Me: Literally everybody dies in the end...
It's sad that Arthur admired Dutch and saw him as an older brother. Arthur put all his trust in Dutch and in the end Arthur realized who he looked up to wasn't who he thought he was.
9:15
Micah: "Best thing we can do is let the weak go"
Dutch: "That ain't happening"
Also Dutch: 19:33
9:30 Micha at his worst. You can literally see the rat-like behavior.
Also Dutch still having some form of resistance when Micah suggests leaving "the weak" behind
I can’t believe how good a manipulator Micah is. Dutch didn’t seem to think for a second that Arthur was onto something!! Makes me wanna play this game again, such a crazy story
12:12
It blow my mind how Dutch just refused to accept something so extremely obvious from Arthur. At this point of the story, like, yeah how could Dutch not realize that they are, indeed, not good at pulling off big scores anymore. They're in a clear position of weakness, their last plans have all backfired horribly. Its time to just slink away like a wounded animal.
I love how Dutch repeats insist like he doesnt know what the meaning is
@Everlasting Gamer ik but the way he said it is so funny
When Hosea died, Dutch forgot that a real leader leads by the consent of the lead. Instead he became just a two bit tyrant and his gang fell apart.
Dutch was triggered and needed a safe space.
Arthur: ThErES AlWayS A *GoDdAMN TRaiN*
BIG SMOKE: *OHHHHHHH MAH DOG*
Bruh...i can hear the thumbnail
ohhhh ..... the doubting
You'll get your infinity stones, Thanos. All you need is some goddamn faith.
Dutch at the end of the game looks absolutely terrifying like the goodness in him is gone he has no more patience and keeps getting more paranoid and making up his own scenarios in his head and seeing Arthur doubt him and knowing he is dying to made him lose it even more
How do you not have Arthurs death scene? That is about the most heated and memorable conversation between the two of them in the entire game
Why is Micah wearing a white hat and Arthur a dark hat? In many westerns, the man with the white hat is the hero, while the man with the darker hat is the bad guy.
John had a white hat in the beginning
it’s probably a bit of irony on rockstars part or they just didn’t think much of it. but if you wanna look deeper into it it could symbolize how for pretty much all of chapter 6 dutch treats micah like his right hand man/the good guy and arthur like a traitor, when it’s really the other way around.
If you noticed during the bank job in Saint Denis, Micah is really the only one not in black. He's in all white and I believe gold
John Solomita lenny wears white too
@@gringobingo471 Oh shit you're right
4:00 you can literally see arthurs view of dutch change in his face at that moment.
The relationship between Arthur and Dutch kinda reminds me of that of Guts and Griffith in the Golden Age.
It's always refreshing to see someone who didn't play Arthur as a neckbeard.
i DiD nO SuCh tHiNg.
18:04 The moment it dropped on Dutch the fact he had no control over Arthur no more. He was insisting on decisions for the gang instead of suggesting, or just blindly following Dutch's orders.
2:39 Lenny is so fucking precious, that sneaky little skip lmao
*Ladies and gentlemen this is a robbery*
me: you can get any more casual than that(can’t)
Arthur's development inner struggle and dialogue in this game make it one to remember.
2:53 the moment Arthur realized that Dutch isn’t the same Dutch that saved him when he was 14
I saw two guys in roblox pretending to be dutch and arthur, that was a great time to socialize.
“You sound like Hosea I miss....him” yeah I miss him too 😰
Dutch just lost his God damn mind.. It's just sad
"I gave you all I had"
Enough to make a grown man cry
3:54 not gonna lie, first time through this mission , Dutch giving that look gave chills...
4:45 this cutscene is the one moment in the game where Dutch straight up looks to be going insane or at least the scene where it's most noticable
