So with saying that, I’m going to attempt to cook me some when I go purchase some at my local FoodCo here in California. And see if I can duplicate your recipe. Mrs. Mattie, you did that mama💯👍. I was raised up on neck bones. My Dad would even BBQ them on the pit and they were delicious to.😋 Yesssss indeed I will definitely try this dish the next time I cook them.😋 I've also have baked them in the oven with cream of mushroom gravy and it was delicious to with all the veggie that you put in your dish.😋 What an ole fashion meal you cooked. Have to admit I’ve got no experience with neck bones. But did some quick checking & found them at my local HEB & you are correct Ms. Mattie - they are quite reasonably priced. Will get some picked up tomorrow & try to duplicate your recipe. Thanks for sharing!

They look phenomenal, but Ms. Mattie, u will kill somebody w/all that sodium in the gravy mix, Bullions + the regular salt. I realize u are from the old school of seasoning until u can taste it, but w/diabetes & high blood pressure, some of us can't eat like that anymore. Please show a little compassion for the sick & shut in, before we be the dead & buried deep in.😵

I also appreciate that u said u had washed your meat & cleaned out that valley underneath the bone. I saw another video where a man cooked neck bones & in the finished product, he had to skim all that nastiness (fat & tube meat underneath), he nearly turned me against neck bones. YUCK!

Heyyyyy Ms. Mattie I love neckbones made all types of ways.. my last child of 6 adults kids left for the navy last year. I always buy at least 3 packs on my monthly shopping grocery is so high price now.. so I make every $.. stretch. Gonna try your recipe next week. What a blessing you are.. We need to stop with all that salt .. that's the black family has so much heart disease and diabetes...the natural seasonings in the meat and and veggies are more then enough 🛑 Salt!
Everything needs to be consumed in moderation. Not just salt.
