Go back and watch and listen to what she is saying because she doesn't show u but she puts the greens in oven. Plus that pot isn't shaped to be put on the stove

I just discovered your channel today and had to search for this recipe. I have been cooking my greens all wrong, they have been swimming in water, lol. I can't do the meat or the sugar. I will start adding garlic and onion today. I also don't use hot sauce but I will get some jalapeno peppers.

Everyone loves my collards but I’ve never added sugar or vinegar…. I wonder is the sugar put in to offset the vinegar … if so then why add the vinegar… I don’t no can someone tell explain

I have 2 bunches how many cups of water should I use? Did you cook your meat first are did you cook the meat with the greens?
Mattie, Mattie, your losing me on this one. Collards in the oven, oh my! Sugar, oh my! What did you do with all that flavor left in the salt pork pan? I must say they looked good in the end, my grandma made the best greens ever, but I'm gonna try your oven method, but I'm skeptical, God bless!!😮

Never ever ever cooked greens with the stems, always remove the stems
My mother side of the family is from Louisiana. My father side is Arkansas and they would never.
Unless you like your greens to taste bitter .
I'm sorry, this recipe is pitiful, you are already using salt pork plus using all of that salt plus using smoked meat, that's alot of salt, ppl eat what they like this I know, but you aren't using much as far as ingredients so I know those greens will be bland.
But hey to each his own.
You would get better flavor if you fried your salt pork first.
