Was watching the video and half way through I picked up my purse and ran to Hobby Lobby .... got the teeny cutters and the same color clays ! !! Nothing can stop me now 💪💪 I’m back finishing the video 🤣🤣😂 Thank You 👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
LOL, that is so funny... Every time I watch a video I learn something new. Some of her videos I have watched a few times just to see something again. I do not have any of these craft stores close to me so I have to make a shopping list and then the closets store is Hobby Lobby, which is my favorite. One time I spent close to 900 dollars at one time. That was the best day ever it felt like Christmas to me for sure. Have about three pages of stuff to get this time to.
hi Sara, So glad that u take the time to show us crafter new things. I always put my soft clay in the freezer just to let it firm up a little. I love working with clay. Thanks for all the great videos and love your work. I hope that works for you.
You are absolutely amazing! I've watched many of your videos and you remind me so much of myself! You're silly, funny, witty, and very talented! Thank you so much for sharing all you do with us!
These tiles are wonderful. Reminds me of the 60s and early 70s. Can't wait to see what you decide how you'll use the tiles and what the final product looks like. I loved the tile box that was red and black with music buttons. Now we have the hippie 60s. Love it!
I love these tiles! I think they are my favorite of all the tiles you've made Sara! These tiles would be great for a circus, carnival, or birthday project that has a bit of a vintage look!!! So cool Sara!
I went to Etsy and tried to order one of your art work; It was not possible for me. Do you ship overseas as I really would like to see it in real life. Please send me the link to the proper place. I am in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. I can order stuff from USA on line before. Thank you.
Sara, I missed you while you were on vacation and I am happy to see you back playing with your clay. This geometric style is totally different from what you do mostly, but I think I will have to try to make some. I like watching your videos and like everything you do!!! TFS.
Sara they are all so brightly coloured and beautiful, great video enjoyed seeing your thought process throughout, the tiles also would look lovely in a picture frame with something as a center piece and them around it.
Love your videos! I have been claying about 1 1/2 years and your videos were one of the first ones I watched and continue to watch. I love these tiles. I also love bright colors. Making tiles are still on my to do list but I think it just got pushed towards the top of the list. These tiles would also make some cool jewelry. Thank you!!!
I have been avoiding playing with the clay because it's been so hot and my clay gets so soft. I've really missed it, but I have gotten some quilts done. I will be going back as soon as it cools off a little. Love looking at what you do.
I have baked sticky clay with plastic buttons in and they came out fine. I just popped them out after they cooled and then glued them back in. Don't know if it will work with all plastic. Thanks for the new tiles (at least new to me).
Hi Sara I just love your trinket box and frame. I would love to see a step by step on how you make your tiles. It looks like some of them there are eyelets. I know you use buttons on there too. I love to watch your videos TFS. Bev
Yes, I used a baby wipe but I think the paint was too thick. I actually tried it again using Metallic Lustre and got a much better outcome. Thank you for responding so quickly. God Bless, Kay
Lorna Norris hi Lorna. I made a fairy door and it’s been out side for 2 or 3 years. It definitely looks worn but it’s hanging in there. Your piece will take a beating for sure. But if you want to do it do it. Have fun. Tfw. Sara
@@myserenitycrafts Do you think she should have to seal it with something to protect it from the weather? With your fairy door did you seal that with anything as well. Thank you for all you show us I have learned so much for you. I just wish I could keep my tiles straighter. Do you have any tips on how to keep my tiles straighter when i pick them up and put them on the baking tile.
I absolutely love your tiles! What type of paint do you use when you patina? Acrylic? Also, again what is the adhesive you use called? Would it work on a clay pot? Thanks in advance.
Are you wiping it off with a dry paper towel or a baby wipe? I tried this and my tiles turned out terrible. The colors did not stay as bright as yours, maybe my paint was too thick. Yours are just perfect. I was very disappointed with mine.
praynow1 pretty sue it was a baby wipe. I'm no a huge fan of antiquing and I do t always love the results. Make sure you use watered down paint too. Then it won't be so dark. Tfw. Sara
Just started making tiles and it's soooo much fun!!! I'm going to make a plaque for my mom and I was wondering what kind of glue do you use?? and do I need to put something on the wood before I glue the tiles on besides the paint?
Kim Brenner awesome. I use weld bond glue. It's a white glue that I got at dick black on line. I'm pretty sure i mix a sealer into the paint to seal the wood but I don't varnish the areas that i glue to but I do varnish the rest of the piece. Hope that helps and mom loves her gift. Tfw, Sara
I've only been crafting with clay for 4 years and in that time mine has been fine. I usually make tiles or cover things in clay and so far it's held up.

I am sorry to hear about you getting motion sickness so easily. What you could try to help with that is watch from a computer screen and move far away so you are not so close to the screen so you do not notice the screen moving so much. She really does show us a great deal of stuff. I hope this tip helps you with being able to watch longer. Also, see if you could take some Dramamine which is OTC it helps with motion sickness my little girl takes it before we go for a drive she gets car sick.

I set my tile on a ice pack on hot days. Your tiles are beautiful!
That’s so smart. Tfw. Sara
The tiles are so cute; I just love how they turned out! You have inspired me, yet again, to get back into clay.
Sara they are all so brightly coloured and beautiful, great video enjoyed seeing your thought process throughout, the tiles also would look lovely in a picture frame with something as a center piece and them around it.

Very cute tiles! I've been eyeing those little geometric cutters on Amazon! Thanks for sharing!

You definitely have a talent in making tiles. Love your idea to put them on a box. Really liked watching your video. Sincerely, Elaine Rico
Thanks Elaine. I have lots of other clay tile videos if you are interested. Tfw. Sara
I ordered her book :) will see Love the tiles! :)
i totally love all ur clay videos.. It is like you invite me to ur craft room to craft together. :D
Love your art!
When impressioning sticky clay, it would be a lot less sticky if you dust it with cornstarch.
They are beautiful! Can't wait to see what you do with them! I'd be afraid it would look to busy.
use a little baby powder or corn starch over the clay then press in your design they will come out so easily...
Still love your creative mixed media.

Great video! Thanks!

I don't think you need to add anything! These tiles are so special Sara!! They speak for themselves!
Thanks Lisa. I really need to make some more of this style. Cover some different things too. TFW, sAra
Just my thoughts... I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Take care, Lisa
The dark paint trick really pulls them together - still scary though😏
LOL, Yep it is. TFW, Sara
Try putting your clay in the fridge when it gets hot out and that will allow it to be not so soft
These are so awesome! Love the geometrical approach to tiling. Just wondering what pasta machine do you use for rolling out your clay please?
I want to make tiles like this to put on a totem outside, how do you think they would handle las vegas climate? Would you recommend this? Thnx

Do you have to varnish the baked clay pieces? Also if I use the powder and bake them do I need to Varnish onthese also?
beautiful
Which pasta machine do you recommend?
I love your videos

I love this. The colors are perfect for a little girls room. Do you remember where you purchased your buttons?
I usually get my buttons at one of the local craft stores, Michaels, ACMoore or Joanns. TFFW, Sara
