Love the tiles! I love watching all your videos, Sara. I like your sense of humor and your honest reactions to crafting "mishaps", I like that you show us all this on your videos instead of editing them out. Thanks for sharing!
You have no idea what this video has done for me. Two weeks ago I had a biopsy...a week ago I was told I needed surgery. I am booked a month from my original biopsy. I am a crafter (subbed years ago) that does not craft anymore, due to having special needs kids!!! But right now, I am just out of my mind, and cannot get away from my thoughts and fears!!! I was watching some craft videos on tv to distract myself, and this video came on autoplay. I realized about two minutes in, what you were actually working on!!! Not only can I appreciate what an artist you are (I really enjoyed watching your process AND your accent...being from up north, you sound like an old friend) ... but the content has been so soothing and inspirational, I was hoping it would not end. So grateful 🙏🌺🙏💗🙏🌺 for this 1hour ++ material that took me away from my fears and gave me hope, comfort and yes...serenity!!!
hipretty hello. I have lots of other long videos too. Lol. Listen. Worry won’t change the future it just keeps you from enjoying the present. All you can control is your attitude and choices. I learned this in alanon. You can choose peace. And that will give you serenity. I try to be as positive as possible. It really helps. Tfw. Sara
Hi Sarah this is one of my favorite videos for polymer clay tiles. Have watched it over and over as well as the other tile instruction videos........looking forward to more real time tile videos.....thanks Sandi
hi. I really enjoy watching your videos and I'm learning so much. I could happily sit and watch them all day. the love and passion that you put into each and every piece you make comes over really strongly. which makes your videos so wonderful to watch. and your pieces are so so beautiful! I really admire you. xx
I just love your videos. I have been working on the gelli plate from your videos and now you've sold me on the mosaic's. I need to retire from work, so I can do all these things.
Hi Sara, I loved this tutorial. This is the first time I have seen this idea, of making the tiles. I wanted to let you know I saw another clay tutorial and the lady used a screw driver set that has all the little screw bits (example: the phillips head bit, the flat head bit etc.) all types of designs to be used.
I absolutely love watching your videos! It's like we're hanging about together crafting. You sound like me when I craft only you're actually talking to people...me, I'm just talking to myself lol.
This was so interesting to see you use all the products with these tiles. I have to see what I have in my scrapbooking stash. Thanks so much for showing us.
I am so inspired by your mosaics. I have finished two projects already and have so many more planned. Thank you so much for being so kind to inspire and share your talents!
I have learnt so much from this video, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with us. I can't wait to see the box. Not only that but I'm sure it will encourage someone with breast cancer as she keeps all her favourite memory ephemera in the box. You're doing a good thing Sara. Blessings
I Was so impressed , i went out and bought clay, tools, etc, to make some of those cute things. You're so fun to listen to. Even funny . And a good demonstrator, even if you're out of shot some of the time. Well done.
where have you been in all my life I have never seen such a great video. I saw your photo frame and trinket box video where you prepare the box and frame. I have had two wooden boxes for years and did not know what to do with them till now. I am sealing them right now. I just got some stamps and ink from a thrift store and have not had a chance to use them. I am so going to make these two boxes for two very dear friends of mine for Christmas presents. They are going to love this so much. My only wish is I wish I was able to give these to them in person so I guess a video call will have to do. Oh well. Thank you for sharing this I am going to be a huge fan of you for sure.
Hi Sarah. I am learning so much from your tutorials. I am just beginning to play with polymer clay. I think I'm hooked!!! You are so easy to understand and to follow. Thanks so much for taking the time to teach us beginners. Linda
This was great, I woke up to my computer playing on from when I went to sleep last night and I am so glad I just happened to find you. I did polymer clay back years ago, just cane work back at that time but then I became a paper crafter but have been wanting to do more with clay so it's great to see that I can combine the two together. My arms wont let me do the cane work anymore but stamping, decoupaging, etc., I am good with
Why am I only discovering you know 😢?? Great video and a great help!! Keep well 🤗

Omg! I LOVE this! I'm definitely going to have to try this someday! I had bought sculpey and a pasta roller ages ago thinking I would make beads, but then a move happened and I'm pretty sure that stuff got lost. It's on my wish list again though! Thanks for sharing!
Hi, I like ceramic tiles for baking my clay, however if I am cutting or stamping an image I use pieces of baking parchment, (in the UK it is known as Grease Proof paper), under the clay, so I don't have to use my blade to cut the clay from the ceramic tile. That way there is less chance of distorting the clay and easy to move the clay around. Grease Proof/Baking Parchment is OK to go in the oven.
Love watching your videos, Sara! I feel as if I'm in your home and learning so much . You are an awesome teacher. Can you tell me where you got the sentiment stamps?
You are just amazing at clay!!! I wish I could do as wonderful as you!! I have been trying, but it never seems to look as fab as yours, lol!! I love your videos, love learning from you too!! Thank you always for sharing!! Blessings....
+myserenitycrafts I have been watching everyone of your videos...days...I have been bedridden for a long time and I am totally inspired by what you do. I am going to start doing something...just don't know what yet. thank you for giving me life. you have know idea how you have helped me thanks so much. angel sara
I love watching your process you are a good teacher. Maybe try putting those words Faith and Hope inside the drawer. they are to nice to put under the drawer. Just a thought. tfs hugs karen
Oh my goodness! I'm in trouble! Love these! May have to try my hand at these. I'm in remission for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma so may have to make a lime green one for myself! May do a picture frame to put one of my pics that I took while taking chemo. Thankfully, the chemo that I took didn't make me sick or lose my hair. Thanks for sharing!
I love all these tiles... makes me wanna get out some clay but i have too many other things I have to get finished before I can start another project! Thanks for sharing your talent! :)
cute! I like the stamped word tiles the least - they seem so flat compared to the really lovely dimensional tiles. Even though I, personally, hate shrines to cancer and other medical illnesses - to me it seems to focus more on having the thing than to getting rid of it - I have to admit that your cancer boxes and frames and stuff are super creative and artistic and cute. I can hardly believe you took the time to handmake all those tiles! I would have never thought to do that - would have just bought pre-made stuff. The pearlex takes those tiles to another level of beauty - that rose gold...I'm gonna have to see if I can get some of that. It's beautiful. And STICKLES - who knew. I always thought they looked cheesy and childish on scrap albums, I like glitter pens like AtYou Spica or Wink of Stella, but never imagined them on tiles like this. I thought it was a perfect addition! You seem to be very creative with your design ideas - I was wondering if these would look professional when done (so many handmade polymer clay things don't) - and these were amazing! I haven't had much great success with polymer clay sculpting - just haven't practiced or experimented enough, but maybe I will give clay tiles a go as they seem to have a much more structured assembly. Less room for error - and I also have a couple of bricks of super soft sculpey clay to work with.
Polymer clay is such a great medium and I have only cracked the surface of all that you can do with it. I did polymer clay adventure a few years ago, an online year long retreat. I learned so much. I will definitely be getting back to it, but for now I am into art journaling. I change it up a lot, LOL. Enjoy, Sara
I think you are awesome! I love all your polymer clay videos! And I really want to take your polymer clay class..lol I am your big fan from Hong Kong, thanks for share your polymer clay tutorials, I've learn a lot from you! There are no classes can take for polymer clay in Hong kong, so I just can learn from UA-cam, and I am so happy to see your tutorials! Thx alot!
Sara, you r so inspiring. I am starting to buy my materials to get started with polymer clay because of you. I would love to email you or message you privately if I can find your info. I have watched your videos over and over and I cant wait to try this. Thank you for sharing.
When your clay is to sticky you can set it on a piece of printer paper for awhile and it’ll leach it and it’s still soft but not sticky. Don’t leave it for more than half an hour before you check it though, then check it every five to ten minutes until it’s where you want it.
I can't get enough of this video. I put it on while I work on projects. nothing to do with clay but I just like having it on, you give so many great tips. I like that it's a long video so I can work without having to pick a new video. it's very inspiring, i just got myself some clay, a roller, and a mold, and I'm still hesitant as I don't know how to start. I think I have one premo and a sculpy. but I don't think it's sculpy III. which one do you recommend? I have a toaster oven but it's just a regular one from Walmart. do I need a special one ? I think this weekend I will invest in the slicer and the pasta machine. is there any other tools you recommend for starting with clay tiles ? thanks so much for sharing your projects and techniques
+torresxrocks So glad you like the video. This is one that I did that may answer a few of your questions; ua-cam.com/video/WuqEbgK3sBwI/v-deo.html just got a new oven because I needed a taller inside to fit the glass votives I was making. Just get an interior oven thermometer to make sure its the right temp inside, because I have burned things in my other oven. A past a machine is a really great tool to have. They sell them at ACMoore and you can use a coupon. Thanks so much for watching, SAra
What is the stamp you used that has all the inspirational words - like determination, hope, love? I need one!! I've watched this video 4-5 times and I learn something new every time I watch it. You have given me the inspiration, confidence and courage to make some things I'm actually proud of. Thank you so much!
I love that stamp too. Its an Inkadinkadoo stamp. I think Its a breast cancer awareness stamp and it may have been during a campaign time. Use google and amazon and do a search. Sorry, SAra
Sara I love your clay boxes and would love to see how you design and paint the boxxes. Do you use stencils or freehand them? They come out so stinking cute!
I just started watching your videos tonight & I really like how you are so real & honest about your work. Can you or will you put the products you use in your videos in the description box? I’m very new to doing crafts & I’ve never heard of some of your products. What type of gadget do you use to flatten the clay? I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks for sharing.
i know i wish she would to. What I do when I want to know what something is I just pause the video and then just google it and find it. hope that helps you.
do you bake this on the tile or something else. I went and bought the clay so I am brand new. I love your tiles and I love your videos. You are so real and I appreciate that so much!
I have just stumbled onto your video and I am loving it and learning soooo much!! I really love the individual letter you put together and then stamp with. Where do you get them? Thank you :)
What an inspiring video! Thanks for sharing your lovely work. I do have a question--what product are you using over the musical notes? It is a pink glitter, but I can't tell whether it is embossing powder or a liquid of some kind. Off to view more of your videos...
Hi Sara where do you get your little boxes? Loved this video Im headed to joanns with my 50% percent off coupon. And getting the pasta machine and some clay. I loads of charms and beads. Can you bake them with glass beads in it?
Thank you for this it is really good to see how you work! I was just wondering what the cutting tool you are using is called as I am using a scalpel atm and my tiles keep warping on the corners! I definitely need one!
Hi Sara I watched a lot of your videos here lately. Love them all so far what is the name of the stamp you bought for the "awareness" project. From what company? You are so talented in all the crafts you do. I's amazing. The Mosaic pieces are beautiful. Thanks for all the sharing of your videos and the step by step process. TFS
You are very welcome. I really enjoy creating and sharing with the crafty you tube community. I'll try and figure out what stamp you mean and let you know. Tfw. Sara
Hi Sara the stamps you used for breast cancer awareness frame that has a bunch of words on it like "determination" "Hope" "friend" it has several hearts on it, a little sun, a little cloud, a little flower and many more words. I would also love to know the name of the stamp that you stamped Hope and the definition of it on the pink clay. You stamped them next to each other on the pink clay. I have goggled the stamps and can't find them. I just love your videos.
+Ollie1217 ok. The small one with sun heart flowers and words is by Inkadinkado. I think I got it at acmoore a few years ago. The definition stamp is by stampendous it's called dream text.
Hello Sara :) I Love all of your tiles :) You had so many great tips:) I just got some clay this summer at a sale, so I know what I am going to do with it now :) Do you use a toaster oven to bake them or do you use your regular oven? I am just like you, always doing something different, and not liking to keep repeating the same craft over and over. I am doing a craft fair with my niece in November, and I am trying so hard to not be all over the place in the items I am making, it's not working very well, lol :) I love the sparkle and shine too, I think it makes people happy :) tfs, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy
+al john Thanks so much Amy. I have lots of videos about making tiles. So check them out if you have any questions. I use a toaster oven that is just for clay. Good luck at the show. TFW, Sara
+nurseglenda57 I bake on ceramic tile that my hubby cut for me that fit nicely into my toaster oven. I used the 4x4 tiles from home depot before that. You can use anything flat that won't melt I guess. TFW, Sara
+myserenitycrafts tfw. I think next time I'll be using my pasta machine which I've had for years and never used. I love your tiny tiles too, I shall be trying them. I guess I'll also be dumpster diving for some ceramic tiles to cut on and to use for baking.
Do you recommend Sculpey 3 clay?? I'm trying to do transfers to my clay and the clay isn't picking up the color from the napkins. What do you think? Thanks. Jennifer :)
Hi Jennifer, I've tried it but didn't get great results. I think It takes practice and maybe try different brands to see which works best. Sorry, TFw, Sara
I just wanted to ask how think are your tiles I went and bought the stuff to do this I have invested heavlily and would like to do this correctly. Thank you
+Lynn Galvan Well I use a pasta machine to roll out the clay, But you can roll it out by hand. That's how Laurie Mika does it. Just use your best judgement. Tfw, sAra
myserenitycrafts hi thx so much for responding- it’s Premo the first one I did an hour and it overcooked and the second round was about 35 minutes and undercooked. Still hard just a bit more flexible. Jackie

I love listening to you, please do more xxxx💖
I have lots of those flowers in lots of colors and had no clue what to do with them I love this.
Your clay is warmed by your lights and your hands. The more you work with it the softer it gets. I love your idea.
Thanks Kathy
You are so funny when you yell at Kirby. I love dogs and you tell at her just like you did to your kids.

i know i wish she would to. What I do when I want to know what something is I just pause the video and then just google it and find it. hope that helps you.
sarah, what did you use to glitter those hearts? glitter glue? which brand? they are soooo pretty!!
Sara where do you get your stamps? Love your work and your videos. Thanks for sharing
Sarah Peck thanks so much. I get my stamps from craft stores most of the time. Amazon or Joann’s on line too. Tfw. Sara
do you bake this on the tile or something else. I went and bought the clay so I am brand new. I love your tiles and I love your videos. You are so real and I appreciate that so much!
+Belinda Wiggins Oh yes do you buy that little metal thing you are cutting with also? Can you buy that at Michaels?
I have just stumbled onto your video and I am loving it and learning soooo much!! I really love the individual letter you put together and then stamp with. Where do you get them? Thank you :)
Hi. It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure I got it at hobby lobby in the stamping aisle. Tfw. Sara
Love your work. Can you tell me what is on your boxes that makes them sparkle? It looks sparkly all over?
I use lots of things that sparkle. I love stickles glitter glue. I rub that over lots of my tiles. I use metallic paints a lot too. TFW, Sara
What an inspiring video! Thanks for sharing your lovely work. I do have a question--what product are you using over the musical notes? It is a pink glitter, but I can't tell whether it is embossing powder or a liquid of some kind. Off to view more of your videos...
When they are all done. The last thing I do is use my finger to rub on some stickles glitter glue. Love the way it looks. TFW, Sara
Hi Sara where do you get your little boxes? Loved this video Im headed to joanns with my 50% percent off coupon. And getting the pasta machine and some clay. I loads of charms and beads. Can you bake them with glass beads in it?
What was that stuff you put on the acrylic block to make the letters stick?
Thank you for this it is really good to see how you work! I was just wondering what the cutting tool you are using is called as I am using a scalpel atm and my tiles keep warping on the corners! I definitely need one!
I think it's just called a clay blade. It's usually in the clay section of the craft store.
What is that metal piece you use to cut the clay? And, where do you get it?

TFW, Sara
stumbled across your channel. hoping you still have recent videos.
Whats a good clay that does not make you cuss... haha, totally love your artwork....just wondered what is the easiest clay to work with?
When you embed the charms into the clay do you need to glue it in after you bake spit doesn't come off?
+purpleshammrock Yes I use glossy accents on the ones that I am worried about. TFW, sAra
I just loved it thank you!
+Mary Gibson Your welcome
+myserenitycrafts i made me some to they turned out perfect it was so much fun!
Hi Sara is it ok to buy any mica powder I love watching you work with the clay can’t wait to have a go thank you x
I use perfect pearls and pearl ex powders. People also use shimmering eye shadow from the dollar store and say it works great. Have fun. Tfw. Sara
@@myserenitycrafts if you use eye shadow would you need to seal it with something afterwards.
If so with what.
Question.....what do you bake your tiles on? Can I just use a cookie sheet or do I need something special?
+nurseglenda57 I bake on ceramic tile that my hubby cut for me that fit nicely into my toaster oven. I used the 4x4 tiles from home depot before that. You can use anything flat that won't melt I guess. TFW, Sara
What other type of clay other than sculpey III do you use? I just started on this adventure and I agree that it is very soft and sticky.
+CraftySamarita I just saw you video. Good work! I left a comment on your page. TFW,SAra
Thanks!!! I'm getting watercolor markers to fix the colors after I bake it.
Tfw, sAra
Hi Sara, could I use StazOn black solvent ink for the clay ? Could these ink be used on baked or raw clay ? Thanks😄
Yes I think that would be fine
Thank you Sara 😄
they are so cute
Wonderful
Have you ever tried making tiles using paper clay.
How long and what temp do you use for cooking
SuperBirdie30 depends on what type or brand of clay you’re using. The baking directions are on the packaging. Tfw. Sara
myserenitycrafts hi thx so much for responding- it’s Premo the first one I did an hour and it overcooked and the second round was about 35 minutes and undercooked. Still hard just a bit more flexible. Jackie
Try 15 minutes at the temp on the package.
what is the powder that you used?
+Mariana Minano I use perfect pearls powders and I also have Pearl-ex powders. TW, sara
Thanks! I just found you and I am watching your videos. Love it!
lets see Kirby!
Great video but that scraping of the tile is driving me crazy.
