- This is both the cover of Purple Rain by Prince and new version of an old song called Even In Death. Since they merged them together I couldn't really stop recording! :) Enjoy!

oh my god that one guy when they started playing "even in death" had me CRACKING up! he was screaming he was singing, jfc haha.

I still can't believe they performed this live, their really digging into their rich catalogue of songs. What I really like is that you can tell a lot about an Evanescence fan if they know the lyrics to this song (as evident from the crowd). Pure snap shop of Origin's greatness. Beautiful performance and nice camera!
+Saoirse Kavanagh I think at this point, only the hardcore fans show up at concerts. I believe there was no proper advertisement for the shows, so I'm not that surprised honestly. I wish thay would play more old songs. I'm dying to hear Father Away being performed again.
+TheDrEamSpEcTral Yes that or Breath No More. Too many great songs to choose from really. I'm just delighted to see them back on stage and Jen is an amazing/skilled guitar player, she fits right into the band. The future is bright for them I know it.

The way I look at it is if their going back and performing songs from Origin then the possibility of them performing Forgive Me or any more of their work from the pre-Fallen era, then its not totally out of the question. They would know what it would mean to a die hard Ev fan if they did perform those songs, so positive thoughts.

While I do think she has done some covers I liked better than the original (Thoughtless by KoRn for example), there's no one on Earth that can top Prince's original version.

The only time I could see Ev live I had this chick behind me that was screaming and barking (that was not singing).. At the 3rd song I could not hold my self so I turn and say "shut the fuck up, I came here to hear Amy sing, not you.. besides, you're a terrible singer".. gladly, she remained quiet the rest of the show :P Ik, it was mean.. but it was worth it :P

yeah that'd be awesome but I think because it's such a personal and emotional song she might not want to do it in front of an audience.
I don't think she will ever play it. The Last Song I'm Wasting On You is a song she wrote about the toxic relationship she had with Ben Moody and I don't believe she wants to remember those times and feel the same pain again. She matured and married now, it's not necessary for her relive that dark place in her life.

Technically (at least all of the concerts I've been at) you're not even supposed be allowed to record. These people actually paid to see Amy live, we are watching a free video. If the audience wants to sing along, they are allowed. Stop whining about being able to hear the audience.
