@bsting601 (sadly) I am old enough to remember Group B Audi quattro in a frozen Grizedale forest stage ('86??) LOMBARD RAC RALLY. It was fantastic to see them come through in the dusk, snow and ice, discs glowing red, tyres chirping... then follow that sound, echoing through the forest as they ran and down the valley to finish the stage. Fabulous, distinctive noise... A land mark car.
Very interesting video. This car must be really expensive now.. But is that difficult to maintain? I mean, maybe it requires special technician & engineers?
Must be hard for the drivers to "hold back" on throttle (not be tempted to rage totally) but instead keep pace for the conditions as is. Audi have become selfoccupied overpriced clocksuckers today, but this car will be forever monster, that fukken sound just on pc...if i heared that irl i probly would pee my pants (honestly). The pure silly level of vulgarity both looks and open the hood... its a damn mechanical factory in there :)
