I love this layer cake! small prints, flowers and leaves! It looks very spring which is my my fav season. and you make it sole easy. I'd like to see the whole thing when you're done quilted it.

Depends on the layer cake's Manufacturer you buy. Some have anywhere between 20 to 42 counts. ☺️

I love love the quilt n video. Could it be made more scrappy by not matching some of the 2 inch strips n still get the long cabin affect?
You can of course do whatever you please to your quilt. 🤗 There are no wrong answers, but it will look very scrappy and might not see the 'log cabin block' traditionally speaking, but I do think it would look scraptastic!! 😁
could this be made with charms and a jelly roll or is the block larger then 5 inches?

You can press your seams however you'd like. I am a fan of pressing seams to the dark side, but sometimes with blocks that have multiple seams it is easier to press seams open.
