I love all of your tutorials. I am a beginner quilter. I love fabric and I never know what pattern to use or how to make a block. You break it down so simply and I really appreciate it. I think I can make quilts now using layer cakes. That’s another thing…. I never know how to purchase fabric that I love because I don’t know what I am going to make with it!! Now I do!!!!!!

I can't finish it until my backing fabric arrives, so in the meantime, I'll start on a 2nd quilt. Your video has given me a definite idea on what I will do next. Hello Katrina! I love the Cuckoo's Nest block! I would use a focal fabric for the large-ish center and build around that. There are some fabrics that I just can't bear to cut into small pieces. Thanks for your video!

Your ruler measures the half inch on one edge, and then the whole number on the other edge? Am I imagining that? Putting my phone down to go check and see . Does mine do that?

Great compilation of blocks for 10” squares. If only the prepackaged squares were always 10”.
I've found that in the past, it's frustrating so I don't buy them anymore.
Another favourite video to watch. For some reason I usually have difficulty with English accents, but yours is very clear to understand 😂

I've added sashing between my 4patch blocks to gain width and length just to make sure my finished project will be as large as I want it to be!
