One of the saddest most emotional scenes was the one where the girls decided they'd stick together no matter what. Then Rose asks..."What happens when there's only one of us left?" That tugs on my heart strings every time. It's as if she somehow knew she would be the last remaining Golden Girl. RIP Betty White! You always will be America's Golden Girl!!!

@@catmousedogbirdmy first language is Swedish and I’m an actor but I could never deliver those lines the way she did despite the language similarities. Too many times nowadays the words superstar and legend are used to describe untalented people who have no actual talent and are not even good people. The entire cast despite their off set differences are in my opinion all more than worthy of those titles they earned them. The fact that Bettie was also a kind and generous person especially when it came to her work with animals giving a voice to the voiceless showed her heart. She was a criminally underrated artist who deserves to never be forgotten not only for comedy but her entire career I never have seen a role that she didn’t make better she had a way of making mundane characters come to life.
Just found these Golden Girl clips. I’d almost forgotten how much I loved the show. I lay in bed last night watching on my iPad & laughed & laughed. They all made us see how each one no matter their different characters ,their friendship was strong.
I never paused a video that fast in my life. Soon as she said that, I paused and froze for a good few moments. That line hurt more than I expected it to 😢
If you watch the full scene they’re all sitting in the order in which they’d end up dying. Sophia (Estelle) is on the far left chair, Dorothy (Bea) is on the left end of the couch, Blanche (Rue) is in the middle of the couch, and Rose (Betty) is on the right end of the couch.
the scene when she’s in her St Olaf kitchen on her birthday talking to Charlie’s spirit makes me bawl every time. you can tell how emotional that scene was for her…she wasn’t talking to Charlie, she was talking to her beloved Allen….i can’t handle when her voice cracks and her lip quivers
I can’t watch that scene again. I cried my eyes out when I saw that scene the first. And to learn that the scene was a tribute to her real life deceased husband! It’s too sad for me to watch.
When she says the line; I know that wherever i go you'll be right there with me". Tells him how much she loves and misses him. Makes me go into instant waterworks. It's such a powerful line because i TRULY believe she was talking about her beloved Allen Ludden in that moment no doubt about it. So if you were Betty god bless you my dear and i pray you two are finally re-united again.
RIP Betty White. I'd like to think that when she got up to heaven, she said "Is this Heaven"? and Bea Arthur replies "No, Rose, it's Hell with better lighting". Great tribute.
The Herring War story cracks me up every time. Especially if you watch Bea's face and see her begin to break character. And Betty delivers the story so well that Bea and Rue just burst with uncontainable laughter. RIP to these legends, and RIP to long-lived Betty White❤
I've heard different things about the stories, that sometimes Betty would ad-lib parts of them, that sometimes the writers would just leave a gap in the script for her to improvise and that although the whole story was scripted, only the start was rehearsed leaving Bea and Rue in the dark about the most insane parts.
i just cried for the "only one", it was real, she was the only one left, Golden Girls was and is a really big part of my life, it saved me, this three lady where always for me, I hope more people watch it and enjoy it

Four comedy legends of the Golden age of Hollywood! They r dying off fast. You will not see this type of comedy again. What great memories love them all. I loved the Spanish Fly conversation with Betty and Bea. Betty is finally with her beloved Allen. Thanks for the memories!! They will always be Golden

"It's my birthday. You know the rules. I get the ROSE." -> The way Betty delivered this line was so ... PERFECT. It perfectly conveyed how SAD her character was because of her husband's death, how AFRAID her character must have been as she was moving away and how CRUEL it is that she had to mask all her feelings as if her husband was still there. My God Miss Betty White, you will truly be missed.

I couldn’t believe it when I first head the news. Even in her advanced age. She had a good and fulfilled life. Betty White knew she was admired by so many of us who grew up with her. Even in our 20’ or 30’s. Betty , Bea, Estelle and Rue , will always pick me up when i’m feeling sad. Let’s not forget one the writers behind them like Suzanne Harris.
She was, and is, my favorite actor ever. Ive adored her my entire life. Ive been dreading her passing for a long time and somehow hoped she would live forever... shes going to be so missed..
Even though Betty white's gone what she did we'll always be in our memories. She made us laugh, happy, and cry with her in heartfelt moments. You don't get too many actors like that anymore and to lose someone like her breaks my heart. But at least she's at peace and finally reunited with her husband and friends. I watched these with my twin brother and our older siblings when we were kids. Our parents watched with us occasionally and we would laugh ourselves sick. It was one of the few times our family didn’t fight. Good times.

Did anyone else tear up at number 13? That's a really strong question to ask a number 15 and the fact that rose was the one that asked the question because she (irl) was the last 1 it's pretty powerful.
18:53 "What happens when there's only one of us left?" Well she moved on and gave us eleven more years of golden girl happiness. Neither do I
It’s a travesty when someone dies and that too, so close to one’s 100th Birthday, but as Betty’s mom would put it: “Now she knows the secret.”
😭😭🌹💗
She will never be forgotten. She still makes us laugh
Agreed
I couldn’t believe it when I first head the news. Even in her advanced age. She had a good and fulfilled life. Betty White knew she was admired by so many of us who grew up with her. Even in our 20’ or 30’s. Betty , Bea, Estelle and Rue , will always pick me up when i’m feeling sad. Let’s not forget one the writers behind them like Suzanne Harris.

I am so upset that all the Girls are no longer with us. 💔 I love them all and want to go back to those days again. The Golden Days..
💕💕
She was, and is, my favorite actor ever. Ive adored her my entire life. Ive been dreading her passing for a long time and somehow hoped she would live forever... shes going to be so missed..

Even though Betty white's gone what she did we'll always be in our memories. She made us laugh, happy, and cry with her in heartfelt moments. You don't get too many actors like that anymore and to lose someone like her breaks my heart. But at least she's at peace and finally reunited with her husband and friends. I thank her for the times she was a friend and thanks for this tribute you guys are amazing. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
💔🫂💓
If you can find her early shows, it's worth watching them! Some black and white! She's was talented from day one!
I'm already crying after the first three (and the dance-off has always been my favorite GG moment--we watched it on New Year's Eve in her honor). Thank you so much for creating this! Let's all try to Stay Golden like Betty White :)

Genius writting , Genius performing
😭🥰

RIP to a legend
💗💗💕🫂
I watched these with my twin brother and our older siblings when we were kids. Our parents watched with us occasionally and we would laugh ourselves sick. It was one of the few times our family didn’t fight. Good times.
💜💜💗
That was so sweet and touching when Rose have the dog to the man who lost his wife 😢♥️ Rest In Peace Rose Nylund 🌹 (Betty White). You were one of the sweetest people in television and in the world.
🌹🌹🫂💓
R.I.P Betty, thank you for making me smile. The Golden Girls are together again. Love your channel

"I get the rose" always makes me cry. I can't handle the thought of losing those im that close to, it always hurts.
💕
We will always miss you Betty White…Now you are reunited with your one true love ❤️
❤️💜🌹
Today, she gets her rose. The birthday scene made me stop what I was doing. Ended up curling in my bed and quietly cried during the whole scene.
🌹🌹🌹
I love the one where she gives up the dog to the old man, knowing he needs him more ; ; A good dog will aid in his grief for sure
🧡
I love this show. The stories they have.
♥️
99 years is just amazing!!

Sometimes I get kind of lonely and sleepless way into the night. I can spend a lot of time grazing all over the web looking for something to cheer me up and distract me from anxieties. I should always remember this delightful program. Bless you ladies! 💗
🫂💖
Did anyone else tear up at number 13? That's a really strong question to ask a number 15 and the fact that rose was the one that asked the question because she (irl) was the last 1 it's pretty powerful.
🫂🫂
Rose was just the cutest thing. And Betty had a wicked sense of humor. ❤️
🌹🌹💖
I can guarantee that the Herring war skit was the greatest character break

18:53 "What happens when there's only one of us left?" Well she moved on and gave us eleven more years of golden girl happiness. Even after loosing all her beloved friends "Sophia" 2008, "Dorothy" 2009 and "Blanche" 2010, she kept on giving us that golden girl spirit of refusing to be put aside and kept on giving us joy and laughter, an extraordinary career for an extraordinary lady.
🫂🫂💗
I loved that show and sweet Miss Betty! Rip, you well loved, and now you’re in the arms of your one and only!

Loved her since childhood❤️
