1955 Evinrude 7.5 hp water test after clutch dog reversal

still slips.. looks like a new gear case in in order for this one
update... this motor got a new clutch dog, new water impeller, after stranding me at round valley... and new water pump housing because half the bolts stripped on me upon removal.. also since the power head had to be removed to remove the lower unit, it got new carbon seal, and a new power head gasket.

The high speed needle still sounds to rich you should end up around 1/2 turn out
