Ruger American Ranch 300 AAC Blackout

AAC 762 SD suppressor
Octane Muntions 300 AAC Blackout. 220 grain FMJ. Subsonic
Social distancing at the range. Here is a quick video shooting the Ruger 300 blk suppressed. This is a great rifle. Its light, handy, and is a great suppressor host. Subsonics work well at less than 100 yards. Beyond that they really drop like a rock.

It's a great setup for sure. The small scope keeps the combo light and handy. The 300 blk round can go from 110 supersonic to 220+ subsonic thumpers. I have takes several deer with this rifle.
I also run the same rifle in 762x39. Which even with the current climate is cheaper to shoot than the 300. I'd recommend either of them for a light and handy rifle. Great for riding on the ATV or in the truck when checking fences.
I just picked one of these up. I like super quiet rounds as much as anybody but with a 16” the supers should be plenty quiet out of this

Never took past 300. With good supersonic ammo, it would do as well as I could. I would think subs would drop way too much at that range. Subs at 100 drop 10 inches
I have never taken past 300yds. However supers will do as good as the shooter. Mine really likes the Hornady black ammo.
I wouldn't think the subs would do well just because of the drop. The ammo that I used here dropped about 10 inches at 100 yds vs the 110 Hornadys

@guapelot2947 I shoot subs out to 350 yards, if I add a 30 minute rail I could get to 650.
I never hunt past 100 with it.
Have you used the suppressor on your 7.62x39s Ruger American Ranch? That would be a good video also.
All the time. It works really well with the Russian subs.
With the current price of ammo I find myself shooting the 762x39 more than the 300.
The 300 has more variety of subs for hunting... If you can find them. The only subs for the x39 I have found so far is the Russian stuff.
Both of these rifles like the Hornady black ammo and I use that for hunting even though they aren't subsonic .

Does this rifle also accept standard AR 15 magazines? I thought I saw another video that had longer AR magazines? Idk?
This one does not. However, I believe the new ones will accept larger AR mags.
I also have the 762x39 version of this rifle that does use mini 30 mags. Awesome light little rifles.
How good will be this be for deer with subsiniv
I just got one of these in 5.56 that does use AR mags, but I believe this is the only caliber that offers this mag system...5.56 NATO. Good video by the way.

I brought down 3 this season with the 762x39. Light and handy rifles. Most of my shots are 75 yards due to where I hunt.
@@robertmoore2885 as long as they're not more than about 75 yards. The subs drop off around that distance. I've shot multiple hogs in the ear with other hogs only feet away. Hog dropped the others pause to look then go back to rooting. My buddy sitting next to me could not believe what he was seeing. He shoots a 270 one time and he's done for the day. I've shot an entire sounder of 21 in about 30 mins. As long as your smooth with the bolt you'll make almost no sound at all.
I’ve shot BB guns that are louder than that.
What magazine is that?
It's the standard one that comes with the rifle. It's a rotary flush fit.
@@overdfl5398 hmm. Mine came with a 10 round AR style magazine. I’ll have to look for a flush one.
