Another great guide! Loving the Vanguard at the moment. However, please, please, please don't sleep on Adrenaline Rush! It actually does restore 10% of your health! I think the skill is a typo. The way I see it Emperor's Blessing is only useful every 3 minutes and only if you go down. Even then, you come back with 2 armour pips and usually, if swarmed, will go down again. Adrenaline Rush procs every time you melee kill, or execute a major or higher. Which you do all the time as a Vanguard. Actually play with the perk. It makes ruthless just so comfy. I walk right past med packs and leave them for team mates. Love your content as always.
This is absolutely true. I rarely pick up medicae stims while using Vanguard. It heals 10% per majoris finisher. When the game throws more majoris at you, you actually get more sustain
Contested health +50% will heal your white health faster than any other class, +10% heals on each majoris finisher, damage reduction perks will make you a tank. Ive found that the perk that gives you +15% damage reduction when your shields run out is key. No cooldown. All you have to do is a gun strike on minoris and it activates against melee and ranged. Grab the perk that goves ranged damage reduction +10% on dive kick. Grab the weapon perk +15% ranged damage reduction while using light attacks on combat knife or chainsword. Get the perk that gives you +15% damage reduction on perfect parry or evade. You will gain your white health back while protecting yourself. It is absolute carnage on how deep you can be in a mob and stay alive
Those cosmetics are indeed awesome. I am quite partial to the skull face helmet. However I try to avoid the robotic arm. It does look cooler than the plain gauntlet, but it looks like a massive weak spot. And a Space Marine couldn't even cover it with a gauntlet because I asume there has to be skin with Black Carapace underneath there to control the power armor gauntlet.
i played my first vanguard after playing sniper twice. i fkn dominated instantly, like it was made for me. flew threw the mission. barely saw my "def new" teammates. i had 410 kills my first time out, 3rd time in operations... and the closest teammate had 138. love it
It is a 10% heal not a 1% it’s a typo. U should try it out fr im enjoying it for dipping my health down on purpose for the free ammo on the melta/ extra dodge window then getting it back up easily
Something I been seeing on other vanguard builds is taking the 50% increase perfect parry window and taking a balance knife/chain sword it gives you the same window as a fencing weapon but with better stats
Through my testing, at least on PC, the fencing combat knife has a much larger parry window than balanced combat knife + perfect parry 50%. I take the fencing combat knife and the perk that gives +15% damage reduction from all sources after shields are gone. I just recharge that perk by doing gun strikes on minoris or finishers on majoris
@someperson1829 true, the fencing chainsword will fail perfect parries often. It feels alot more like a balanced style in terms of perfect parry window
Right now, the bug that overheals you when you have contested health also heals you since vanguard has +50% contested health gain. But that should go away after an upcoming patch
I didn't say anything about contested heath. you can have zero hit health "contested hp" and it will heal you for 10% + any contested hp. all healing heal contested hp even stim packs.
Wait, is this his real voice?!?! I haven't watched GHS for well over 2 years and it was always with the robot voice on Warframe. Also, Thunderhammer OR BUST!
In 40k lore. Reaver squad don't use melta gun. After playing this class, I think they should reconsider implement it. How devastating. Imagine a squad of melta reiver ambush, I like it. 😂
Some of these perks need to be Assaults. Assault more melee isn't he. I think they need to look over these perks again. A lot of classes need some mixing around...
True. 3 minoris melee hits and shield is gone. Assault specializes in taking hits from big, single attacks from majoris. For minoris, Assault melts if it has no shields. Its only defense is to ground pound spam minoris until they are no longer mob sized
Mostly likely he's playing offline solo to get clips for his video's. Could also be getting solo qued and not getting additional player. YT'rs do many thing to get views and make interesting content.
looking at this i just feel melta is not even fun ... it works on any class and make the game easy. they need to make it so it's not stunning ennemies ...
Tactical is a ranged class. It will make gun strikes and followup more deadly, if perked for it but combat knife fencing has a noticeably larger window for perfect parry. Vanguard also heals itself the longer a fight goes on and has damage reduction, it fights better in melee than tactical. Vanguard shines after its shields are gone, tactical becomes squishy when that happens. 3 minoris melee attacks will take 3 shields, after that Vanguard is much harder to take down. Tactical melts and needs to stay out of melee range to be effective
This epic parry @5:38 is glorious! I just love playing vanguard after this. Hope the video helps.
The last perk is insanely good. Getting 10% Health (blatantly a typo) for melee kills including Finishers on Elites.
It's amazing how many creators dismiss the perk based on the description without even trying it. It's really good. 3-4 major kills feels like a stim.
@@locsmiths exactly, when you read 1% it sounds terrible. But if they actually used it, they'd see it's definitely more than 1% Health back.
@@locsmiths swear
Assault really needs perks and skills like this.
@@MrWallerdog I swear.

Solid gameplay this is my next class to go to once I've maxed out Assault

Dont take the relic balance chainsword is too slow

@@pedropierre9594 yep, the 6+ speed artificier chainsword is a sleeper
The fencing *always* makes a parry, the relic "fencing" chainsword is in fact a "balance" one, it's either a typo or a bug.
@someperson1829 true, the fencing chainsword will fail perfect parries often. It feels alot more like a balanced style in terms of perfect parry window
The last perk Adrenaline Rush gives you 10% healing not 1% use it before you trash on it xD
Yes and it's better than Emperors blessing imo. It helps you a lot maintaining your Hp bar.

That Neurothrope fight was painful to watch. Playing with bots is so frustrating because you have to CARRY the DPS so much.

When Warframe players cooking instead of being a 40k Larp
You never actually used adrenaline rush did you? It's either bugged or miss typed because the health regen is more like 10%. It's amazing.
Ultramarine logos on the knees, with Deathwatch pauldron, just looks weird
after fix melta bug heal this class will be for skill players)

Adrenalin Rush is more then 1% recovery, have you even tried it? I think the tool tip is incorrect.
The perk is good in swarm fights but I still prefer the armor return in when doing hive tyrant or other terminus bosses.
How are you playing solo?If the game doesn't count xp for offline? Is there a way to avoid other players joining yollwhile still being online?

Select a mission and instantly go to the ready zone, you will be assigned 2 bots
I miss the old voice

Have to disagree.. the tactical is fun but no where near as good
