- We all go through the phase where we have just the perfect nail length but it does't last long cause at least one will chip or split and then it won't be even along with other nails so we have to cut it off.

Thank you so much I got a split last night in the same spot(different finger) and I knew you could use a teabag but no one knew how to adhere it to the nail. My mom suggested super glue but we don’t have any this is a life saver, my nails rarely grow out long and when they are I always get a split or one rips clean off. This is the longest I have gone me with out having that issue and my nails look like I got them done cause of how long they are. Thank you for the education so I can save my nails.

Nope it didn’t work for me 😭I thought it would.
I have long nails but the thing is with me they are naturally long and I grew mine for 6 months and my pinkie left nail towards the bottom bent forward and caused a crack I cried so much and now there’s a teabag some nail glue and Anita split top cost let pray for each other and hope we all get through this. (What I have learnt is that DONT try to grow them as long as you can just keep filing them down otherwise once too long they will break ♡ )

Instead of top coat, apply resin and dip into clear acrylic powder. Brush off excess.apply another thin coat of resin to nail, dip in clear acrylic powder. When dry, brush excess off and file and buff...good as new

I found O.P.I. original Nail Envy worked for me, as I bought it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Then after a couple of days I found using Instant Artificials
by ACI worked fine over it, but the key was using a blow dryer each time I applied a layer to make sure it was really dry, before I applied another one and then dried it. Then it was really hard.

By the way thank you so much my dad is so evil he told me to cut it and lm like no!! The break is too low in the nail bed! Snd l was so worried because l didnt have nail glue or super glue but thank you are gonna save my life 🙏🙏🙏🙏😀🤗

I’ve done this before but using a piece of tissue. It doesn’t seem to work with tissue so I will try the teabag. I have a nail that’s broken pretty close down to the quick and I don’t want it to bleed. Thanks for this, I’ll give it a try.

Do we have to cut or nails once the broken part grows? Well for me it's ok because my nails are long and the c curve is getting kinda really curved so um but l feel bad for you that you had to cut them a few months or weeks later

No, it will not repair the nail forever. It is a quick fix till the nail reaches a certain length.

Toilet paper or kitchen roll
I use a bandage when I don’t have teabags, or sometimes even instead on purpose. You don’t have to apply the bottom coat cause the bandage has glue already, you cut the small piece you need, you put it on the nail, but you fold it into the nail, and you put top coat over the whole nail (inside the other side of the tear in the nail.) I don’t eat finger food whilst I have it torn, I cook with gloves on. I replace it every time it unsticks, which could be before or after every 🚿, or every other day, but one bandage lasts per rip, cause you cut small piece by small piece. It’s just like having a real bandage, except it’s for your nail, and it can’t get infected, LoL

Not the broken part. But yes, your nail will keep on growing and when it reaches to an appropriate length, just trim off the broken part.
This trick is just to avoid cutting the whole nail length.
