Hey sir thanks for the info. I was wondering how are you powering the active target? I have a Lowrance HDS live 7 and an Active Target on my NuCanue Unlimited. I have both of them ran through my Yak-Power system so I can turn them off if not in use. My 3 in 1 gets awesome pictures but my Active Target gets a small pulse through it. Do you have any ideas what I may need to do?
Hey James - it's powered by a 50aH Lithium battery - I don't have it wired to a switch - I just 'Stop Sonar' my AT when the transducer is out of the water. What battery capacity do you have? And is the wiring up to the task (thicker gauge wiring may help) for a cleaner image
I don't have fb sorry. My wife just ordered me active target so does that mean I can get rid of the 3in1 transducer? Also what size battery should I use to power this unit? I'm in a bigfish 108 kayak
The AT transducer will be connected to the AT module, so you can still use your AI 3in1. Please follow the link where you'll find a Battery Life Chart.
@Lowrance one more question, I think my battery wasn't charged correctly so is that something that would not let tge sonar work but still allow down and side imaginf to work
Just realized we never sent you the link. You'll find it below. www.lowrance.com/help-and-support/?contentTitle=KayakSmall-Boat-battery-life-comparison-chart-for-Lowrance-units&contentId=023_007-169 About the 2d sonar, was it previously working? Please send a message to Lowrance.tech@navico.com
I've just got the same setup. Pretty amazing. Would you mind telling me what brand sun hood you have on the screen? Seems deeper than the ones I've seen. Would be much appreciated. More tips using it, too? 🙂 Cheers PP
@@PaulMalovFishing Thanks! Bought one, ready to fit. Thanks for the info. I'm keen to see the sequence of searching then honing in. Seems different people use different modes but not many show the full process. Be a bit long, I know, but any tips greatly appreciated. My son and I have been practising on redfin and the odd trout. Baby steps ... 🙂 Got it mounted on Rob Payne pole, loving it and looking forward to chasing more (bigger :-) species. Loving it.
🔥🔥I absolutely love my Active Target system ❤️👊
It is great to know.
Tight lines.

That might be the result of using both AT transducer and 3in1 at the same time.

is there a video that shows how this is mounted on the kayak?
On UA-cam you can find videos on how to install, both Elite FS and ActiveTarget on a kayak.
Hey there - here's the install video ua-cam.com/video/P6C2PpiXNK8/v-deo.html
where can I purchase the active target pole?
Hey Leonard - you can purchase from Chris here: www.gfabmarineengineering.com.au/product/kayak-transducer-poles-suited-to-all-units
Does any one know why my sonar shows just white screen? The side and down work fine.
Please send us a message via FB with a screenshot of your sonar readings. Send us also your unit's serial number and contact details.

Make a 12" version then maybe!
It will probably never happen.

Hey PP, it’s a Berleypro sun visor! Yell out if you’re after any other specific tips. Thanks
