I love both singers. But, as Malcolm said, Bon was an excellent lyricists. I think his lyrics are basically those on Back in Black. I would love to hear a tribute band with a singer who imitates Bon, go ahead and do the entire Back in Black album vocals so that we could hear of Bon’s voice would have matched up with those lyrics. Of course Brian sings like a cannon going off so it’s hard to imagine anyone else singing those songs.
Malcolm was so solid and he could swing like a slinky going down a staircase. Heck yeah!!!!! They were lucky to have his playing AND his songwriting. Being on the beat at the right time and off the beat the right time is an art in its self.
Without Brian AC/DC wouldn´t make the next step in their career Brian make that possible... AC/DC before Brian was a great Band but not even the shadow that it is today and all of that in one part it´s thanks to Brian Johnson since the back in black album the first album with Brian as a lead singer AC/DC became one of the greatest band in history!
Every time I see an interview with him, he just seems like such a down to earth and lovely bloke; never heard a bad word said about him by anyone. RIP Mal.
The 60s-early 90s was an epic period in rock music and anyone coming up in those times can look back now and see how lucky we were to have experienced it first hand.
I won't lie, I've always liked Bon better as a singer than Brian, but that isn't saying Brian isn't good. In fact, Brian is great. Bon Scott was, in my opinion, the best rock and roll singer ever. Brian Johnson is one of the only people who could have taken over Bon's role and still kept AC/DC great. Malcolm really hits the bullseye here when he says "lesser men couldn't have done it" because most anyone couldn't have taken the helm after Bon's death and kept the band at the top.
I think its fair what Malcolm says there . I also think it wont necessarily go away so long as the press keep stirring it up as do certain groups of fans . There are still those that somehow seem uncomfortable or prickly ( secretly) because they dont accept Brian as a replacement to Bon . Some even say he shouldnt sing the songs of Bon´s era as it is somehow a disrespect ? Or , that he doesnt do them justice ? I totally disagree
Brought up with Bon. My personal favourite. Brian was on a hiding to nothing and took us all by the scruff of the neck and said "Listen!.." I, We... did. If Calum and Aonghais accepted you then they were right 🤣❤️❤️
I've heard Brian sing some non-AC/DC songs, and he can really sing. I do wish the band would've tapped into that a little more. The House of the Rising Sun recording he did with Geordie is a prime example of this.

Brian is a really good replacement. When I first heard thunderstruck, I seriously thought Brian was just the voice evolution of Bon
I prefer the Bon era, but Brian has done quite well for the band and he seems like a good dude too.
Rock star never took the limelight or centre stage, T-shirt & jeans...
and he would stand with the fans in the line while they waited to get inside
Both great singers in their own right but to those that don’t like Brian remember that it isn’t his fault Bon isn’t here anymore so give the guy a break.Long live AC/DC.
Still love ýou Mal 💙. RIP MASTER
he sounds like his younger brother Angus. Rest in Peace Malcolm
It won't go away because Bon was so much better.
I miss mal.... :(
I love this Perfect music and perfect singer 💖💖 from l and Bulgaria
Every time I see an interview with him, he just seems like such a down to earth and lovely bloke; never heard a bad word said about him by anyone. RIP Mal.
Bonn we will always love you and miss you.💯💯💯💯💯💯
Malcolm "Youknow" Young🎸...
Bon loved Show Business!!!
The 60s-early 90s was an epic period in rock music and anyone coming up in those times can look back now and see how lucky we were to have experienced it first hand.
Cigarettes suck. We could still have this legend and his brother probably if those things didnt exist.
Bon is to David Lee Roth as Brian is to Sammy Hagar - all are great, but completely different. ❤
How do you find two singers like that? Unbelievable.
Miss Malcolm, I’ll admit it most of my friends were into teeny bopper idols in the 70’s not me give me Malcolm and angus any day they are my crushes

😞 still miss Malcom but so glad for the time we had him
Brought up with Bon. My personal favourite.
Brian was on a hiding to nothing and took us all by the scruff of the neck and said "Listen!.."
I, We... did.
If Calum and Aonghais accepted you then they were right 🤣❤️❤️
Brian is perfect for ACDC, glory to Brian !
I've heard Brian sing some non-AC/DC songs, and he can really sing. I do wish the band would've tapped into that a little more. The House of the Rising Sun recording he did with Geordie is a prime example of this.
For me, AC/DC died with Bon.
